Abstract

Various juvenile delinquencies today lead them to the realm of law so they go to jail. The government has sought to provide coaching for juvenile inmates so that they are ready to enter new life once free, but the coaching that has been implemented has not been able to optimally reduce the problems of juvenile inmates. One of the problems that juvenile inmates face is the feeling of excessive fear and anxiety unacceptable in the social environment after being released from prison, which is also called social anxiety. For that, it takes a variety of understanding and appropriate programs to overcome social anxieties of juvenile inmates who can be done through counseling and counseling services This paper discusses the basic concepts of social anxiety and the importance of counseling and guidance services

Abstract

Psychological symptoms, including loneliness, and tiredness of being unable to see friends, relatives, as well as co-workers, indefinitely, are one problem faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study, therefore, aims to evaluate the extent of loneliness felt during this period, particularly by students, using a descriptive quantitative method, based on the AF loneliness Scale (AFLS). The cross-sectional study was conducted between June 11 and July 29, 2020, through an online survey on Survey Monkey platform. A total of 504 Indonesians aged 12 to 27 years, from several provinces and regions in Indonesia, participated in this study. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program). According to the results, there was a tendency for 49.40% and 33.47% of students to experience symptoms of loneliness in the medium and high categories, respectively. However, there are differences in the symptoms experienced by male and female students. Racial Batak students also experienced more loneliness, compared to other ethnic groups, for instance, Minang, Malay, and Chinese. In addition, students aged between 20 and 23 are more likely to feel loneliness. These findings are useful inputs for certain parties, including school counselors, to discover alternative solutions to help students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic overcome this feeling

Abstract

Humans are created by living in pairs. The creation of humans from male and female types is the forerunner of human reproduction in order to continue the existence of human life in this world. The purpose of creating a human in a pair, male and female, is so that humans can feel calm and serenity in life, ask each other, and maintain mutual relationships. With the family, it becomes one bridge through which to realize the goal of human creation. This research studies the nature of the family in life. The method in this research is a library research by collecting different references in studying the family. This article summarizes various things about the entire family.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the dynamics of forgiveness of domestic violence victims. Anything that is the reason for the victim chooses to provide forgiveness and maintain the relationship of his household. The method used in this article is the library research method. The results of this study indicate that victims of domestic violence choose to provide forgiveness because it is influenced by certain factors. This factor becomes a force of the victim to maintain his household relationship. As for some of these factors, such as the presence of children, feeling ashamed to report the treatment of their husbands, not having a job so that they depend on living fully with their husbands and considering the length of marriage that has been fostered together.

Abstract

The psychological impact of violence in the household is more severe than the physical impact, including fear, anxiety, fatigue, post traumatic stress disorder, eating and sleeping disorders, and children with severe mental problems can think of suicide. This article aims to present an analysis of the psychological impact on child victims of domestic violence using the literature method and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches that can be carried out by counselors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari masalah tugas dosen penasehat akademik dengan diberlakukannya sistem KRS online yang mana sebagian mahasiswa merasa asing bahkan tidak mengenal dosen PA-nya sendiri, karena mahasiswa tidak memiliki motivasi yang kuat untuk mengenal dan memahami tugas serta tanggung jawab dosen PA. Melihat masalah tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif tugas dosen penasehat akademik dengan diberlakukanya sistem KRS Online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 146 orang mahasiswa tahun masuk 2013. Dengan jumlah sampel sebayak 59 orang mahasiswa, sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Proporsionale random Sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Data primer dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dengan skala likert yang menggunakan 5 pilihan jawaban, yang terdiri dari pernyataan positif dan negatif. Jumlah pernyataan dalam angket sebanyak 37 butir pernyataan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Indikator bimbingan akademik berada pada kategori Baik terhadap efektivitas tugas dosen penasehat akademik dengan diberlakukanya sistem KRS online yaitu 3,08. Indikator bimbingan non akademik berada pada kategori Baik terhadap efektivitas tugas dosen penasehat akademik dengan diberlakukanya sistem KRS online yaitu 3,10 dan untuk Indikator memberikan bantuan untuk mencapai prestasi yang optimal kategori Baik terhadap efektivitas tugas dosen penasehat akademik dengan diberlakukanya sistem KRS online yaitu 3.13.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the hoax behavior tendencies among Indonesian students during the pandemic, viewed from the aspects of analytical thinking, basic science knowledge, trust in news sources, satisfaction, and action. A total of 633 male and female students from Indonesian universities were sampled used a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through the hoax tendency behavior scale (HTBS) on 30 questions using a Likert scale. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively to evaluate the hoax behavior tendencies in adolescents during the pandemic, which the results revealed to be in the medium category. Therefore, the analytical thinking skills of adolescents need to be improved, as 31.75% and 2.53% were in the low and very low categories. The study showed that adolescents with an average age of 20 years spreading hoaxes were motivated by basic knowledge of science, trust in news sources, satisfaction, and action. However, there was no significant influence of gender, parental income, and areas of residence, such as rural, urban, and suburban, on those that exhibit hoax behaviors.

Abstract

This study investigated the mediating effect of social support with postpartum rage on young mothers during the first to twenty-four months. Method in this research is c a cross-sectional survey design was used in this quantitative non-experimental research. Subject of young mothers who have delivered the children aged one to twenty-four months women who lived in the area of west Sumatera. This study used edinburgh postnatal depression scale (EPDS) to measure which focuses on postpartum rage and the social support system scale to measure social support. Data analysis spearman Rho correlation, analysis of variance (ANOVA) test and path coefficients. After data from 121 participants were analyzed, the results of measurement showed a significant difference between postpartum rage that occurred in the group of young mothers who had their first child, which was greater than those who had a second or third child. Pregnancy has a partially mediating effect on the relationship between anger during pregnancy and postnatal depression in the first month. Findings highlight the importance of social support with high postpartum rage and provide interventions to increase their social support.

Abstract

Aggressive behaviour is one of the problems which have a negative impact on adolescents, especially on their development process. This study aims to determine the extent to which students' aggressive behaviour is predictable by gender and domicile origin. The participants of this study were a total of 2681 Indonesian teenagers aged 14-20 years, that anonymously and voluntarily filled out this instrument. The instrument used was the AF Aggressive Behaviour Instrument Scale (AFABIS), which has been tested for validity and reliability with a significance of 0.08. Furthermore, data testing was carried out using network psychometrics and Rasch analysis. The results from the network psychometrics analysis showed that there was a good structure of participants in terms of gender and domicile origin (city, suburban, rural) and a significant difference in aggressive behaviour as seen from the sparsity that was raised. The results showed that male adolescents tend to show more aggressive behaviour compared to females. Furthermore, it showed that the tendency of displaying aggressive behaviour by adolescents in rural areas is more tenuous compared to those in suburbs of cities and cities. These results may be used as initial data by counselors for psychological intervention on aggressive behaviour featured by adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine bullying tendencies among students in Indonesia. A sample of 689 male and female students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through the Bullying Behavior Tendency Scale (BBTS), which consisted of 45 questions using a Likert scale, and were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the bullying tendencies were in a low category. However, it was discovered that 32.08, 4.06, and 0.87% of students were in the moderate, high, and very high categories, respectively. Additionally, it was observed that there are significant differences in bullying behavior between male and female students. These results provide a basis for understanding the role of school counseling services in reducing bullying behavior which is prevalent and can cause trauma. Therefore, it is essential to implement preventive programs to address the tendencies of some students engaging in this act at school.
