Abstract

The institution is constantly pushing its pupils to do better. Scholarships are a great incentive for students to strive for excellence. Grants are financial awards given to students based on their academic performance or demonstrated financial need, and are therefore not limited to those who are merely pursuing further education. Scholarships are available to pupils each year at Pulau Pangkalan 1 Middle School. Currently, these institutions rely on human judgment to choose which students merit scholarship money. There are still issues with the decision-making procedure for determining who is eligible for scholarships at SMP N 1 Pulau Panggung. All stakeholders must be happy with the outcome, and the decision-making process can involve competing priorities. The TOPSIS algorithm is a type of decision-support algorithm predicated on the notion that the optimal choice minimizes both the positive and negative distances to the optimal solution. An important goal of this study is to determine whether or not a decision support system can facilitate the picking of scholarship winners at SMP N 1 Pulau Panggung. The TOPSIS method was used to decide scholarship awards at SMP N 1 Pulau Panggung, and the results showed that alternative C, with a value of 0.819, was the best choice overall. At SMP N 1 Pulau Panggung, the decision support system is able to help with scholarship approval, it is claimed.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject which is usually considered difficult by some students, including elementary school students, junior high school students, and high school students. Mathematics aims to encourage students to be skilled in using mathematics and also for practical needs and solving problems in everyday life such as calculating, measurements and interpreting data on computers. Currently, the mathematics learning process still uses conventional methods and lacks innovation in the learning which is taught, which is more fixated on so many textbooks so that this makes it difficult for students to learn these lessons, and will have an impact on students' scores being low. Along with the development of technology, there is an increase in people using smart devices, such as cellphones and tablets, but many are only used to play games. With these problems, there are now many mobile learning applications (m-learning) which aim to help students in efficient and interesting learning. This study aims to design and create a mobile-based application for learning mathematics for 6th grade students of elementary school to help them learn math-related problems in an interesting way. This research produces an application with a user-friendly menu display, and is equipped with practice questions and scores, so that it has benefits for 6th grade students of elementary school in solving problems related to mathematics subjects.

Abstract

Currently, technology and information systems are developing very rapidly. The need for information is also very important, especially since the information produced contains useful, fast and accurate value, therefore anyone who uses this information can deal with various problems that occur. Applications are a very important thing to support various things, one of which is in terms of goods data information systems. The use of data information system applications is not only an automation process for accessing information, but also creates speed, accuracy, and completeness of an application system. The reality in the field itself, especially the middle to lower class entrepreneurs, there are still many who do not have an efficient and accurate data information system application. One store that still doesn't have the application is Irawan stores. Irawan store is a department store that sells various kinds of home needs. This shop is still recording manually, namely by recording the name of the item and its price in a notebook. What's more, because of the large number of items being sold, they forgot the price of certain items. For this reason, an Android-based goods data storage application was designed using a Barcode Scanner to make it easier to check the names and prices of goods easily and quickly. This application is designed based on Android using the Inventor app, so that shop owners can input goods data and prices easily via a smartphone.

Abstract

Media sosial kini telah menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari kita. Dengan terbukanya akses informasi, orang-orang merasa lebih bebas untuk berbagi pandangan mereka tanpa terbatas oleh jarak geografis. Dalam konteks ini, analisis sentimen muncul sebagai teknik pemrosesan bahasa alami yang digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan reaksi dari berbagai aspek kehidupan. Proses ini sering kali disebut penambangan opini, karena bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan pandangan masyarakat serta memperkirakan polaritas dan peringkat dari pendapat tersebut. Di Fakultas Komputer Universitas Mitra Indonesia, Sistem Informasi telah menyediakan platform untuk evaluasi dosen oleh mahasiswa yang dilaksanakan setiap akhir semester. Makalah ini akan membahas analisis sentimen terkait komentar mahasiswa terhadap dosen dengan memanfaatkan algoritma machine learning, yaitu metode K-means Clustering.

Abstract

   The use of information technology in the healthcare sector is rapidly advancing, particularly through the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR), which aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of patient data. However, the adoption of EMR in hospitals, especially in outpatient units, often encounters various challenges. This study aims to identify and analyze the key challenges in implementing EMR in the outpatient unit of RSU Aazzahra. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through direct observation, interviews with healthcare personnel, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the main challenges include limited IT infrastructure, lack of staff competence in operating the system, resistance to change from manual to digital systems, and suboptimal system integration between service units. This study provides a realistic overview of the obstacles in implementing health information systems and offers valuable insights for the development of more effective and sustainable solutions in hospital information systems.

Abstract

With technological developments, learning in schools or lectures can implement computer-based learning systems. With the presence of technology, the teaching process using educational game applications for reciting the Qur'an can be an alternative learning method when students feel bored or tired during learning. Reciting the Qur'an, which refers to the activity of reading the Qur'an, is a skill that every Muslim should have and that needs to be taught to children from an early age, starting before they enter school. This is an important part of forming their character. However, at an early age, children still tend to prefer playing, and limited methods of teaching the Koran may not be interesting enough for them. Therefore, an interactive learning method is needed using audio-visual aids, such as educational games. This approach not only makes learning more interesting but also more interactive. This application can increase children's understanding and knowledge about the Islamic religion, especially in terms of reciting the Qur'an. By applying the concept of learning while playing, children become more comfortable, interested, and happy in understanding and practicing the teachings of the Islamic religion.

Abstract

In an era of increasingly rapid technological development, the need for information is very important for society. With advances in technology, people are able to access the information they need quickly and accurately. Technological advances are also starting to enter various business fields. Usually, technology in the business sector is used as a marketing medium with a wider reach to attract the interest of potential consumers. Applications are a form of technological and informational progress that makes it easier for the public and business actors to access or disseminate information. One of them is a wedding planner application. This application can provide information or an overview of what is needed in the wedding procession. Nawasena Organizer is a wedding planner service provider. Nawasena itself still uses social media methods to communicate with customers. Because it is still quite complicated when it comes to explaining what services are available, communication between admin and customers takes a long time because there are many things that have to be explained directly. For this reason, a wedding planner application system is designed to make it easier for customers to find out all the information about wedding services. This wedding planner application is planned to be built on the Android operating system, which is a system that is very commonly used by all levels of society.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika semakin penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan pemahaman siswa. Salah satu perangkat lunak yang sangat bermanfaat adalah software GeoGebra, yang dapat membantu visualisasi konsep-konsep matematika dengan lebih interaktif dan dinamis. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk melatih siswa SMP Islam Al-Mungalim dalam memanfaatkan GeoGebra materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai penggunaan fitur-fitur yang ada pada software GeoGebra dalam pembelajaran. Metode pelatihan meliputi pemaparan materi, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung dalam membuat dan memodifikasi visualisasi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel menggunakan software GeoGebra. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam menggunakan software GeoGebra, serta adanya potensi peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ini.

Abstract

Pelatihan pemanfaatan software GeoGebra pada siswa kelas XI program keahlian Animasi di SMKS Nurul Huda Pringsewu dalam materi program linear bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dan keterampilan teknologi siswa. Melalui pendekatan visual dan interaktif software GeoGebra, pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam kepada siswa dalam memahami program linear serta mendorong mereka untuk aktif menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasilnya adalah peningkatan pemahaman siswa, minat yang lebih besar terhadap matematika, dan kesiapan mereka menghadapi tantangan di dunia pendidikan dan pekerjaan yang semakin terdigitalisasi.

Abstract

Scientific article writing training is one way to enhance educators' ability to conduct research and publish scientific works. This program was held at SMKS Nurul Huda Pringsewu with the primary goal of improving educators' skills in writing scientific articles in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The training includes several stages, such as material presentation, writing workshops, and individual guidance. The results of the training show a significant improvement in understanding and skills in writing scientific articles among the participants. Additionally, the educators who participated in this training became more motivated to conduct research and publish their findings. Therefore, this training is expected to have a positive impact on the development of educators' professionalism and the improvement of education quality at SMKS Nurul Huda Pringsewu
