Abstract

Pulau Bintan merupakan salah satu pulau terbesar di Propinsi Kepulauan Riau. Pulau Bintan mempunyai potensi sumber daya alam yang besar dan lokasi sangat strategis terletak di Semenanjung Selatan Malaysia dan menjadi pintu gerbang Selat Malaka. Keunggulan Pulau Bintan ini memicu eksploitasi sumber daya alam secara berlebihan dan pembangunan wilayah yang tidak mengindahkan kelestarian lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi daya dukung fungsi lindung secara regional maupun sektoral. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan melakukan survey lapangan dan institusional serta studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya dukung fungsi lindung tingkat regional Pulau Bintan berada dalam kondisi sedang. Sebaran daya dukung fungsi lindung di pulau ini tidak merata. Kota Tanjungpinang sudah dalam kondisi rusak, sedangkan Kabupaten Bintan masih dalam kondisi baik. Hasil analisis daya dukung tingkat sektoral beberapa kawasan hutan lindung, hutan mangrove dan terumbu karang sudak mulai rusak. Kerusakan ini disebabkan oleh illegal logging, penambangan bauksit, sedimentasi dan pemanfaatan lahan untuk perkebunan sawit, kebun karet rakyat, permukiman dan pariwisata. Abstract

ABSTRAK Sampah sebagai material sisa dari berbagai aktifitas atau kegiatan dalam kehidupan manusia maupun sebagai hasil dari suatu proses alamiah sering menimbulkan permasalahan serius di wilayah-wilayah yang sedang berkembang seperti Pulau Bintan. Pulau Bintan adalah salah satu pulau terbesar yang terletak di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Pulau Bintan, selain sebagai daerah pertambangan, juga sebagai salah satu daerah tujuan wisata baik bagi wisatawan domestik ataupun wisatawan luar negeri dikarenakan terletak pada posisi geografis yang sangat strategis. Di samping itu, jumlah penduduk Pulau Bintan yang selalu bertambah tiap tahunnya menyebabkan peningkatan volume sampah. Hal ini menyebabkan penyediaan lahan untuk pemrosesan akhir sampah mendesak untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kelayakan lokasi TPA tingkat regional dan tahap penyisih di Pulau Bintan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasi dengan melakukan survey lapangan dan instansional. Data-data yang diperoleh dianalis dengan bantuan sistem informasi geografis. Penelitian ini berdasar pada SNI sebagai pedoman dalam penentuan lokasi TPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pulau Bintan mempunyai wilayah datar sampai perbukitan bergelombang dengan kondisi batuan didominasi  batuan beku yaitu Batu Andesit, Batu Pasir Tufan, dan Batu Granit. Zona layak dan tidak layak TPA tingkat regional di Pulau Bintan terletak pada semua wilayah studi baik pada Kabupaten Bintan maupun Kota Tanjungpinang. Penyisihan dari zona layak tersebut menghasilkan tiga calon lokasi TPA dengan lokasi yang paling sesuai berada di Kecamatan Gunung Kijang dengan luasan + 40 Ha. Kapasitas sampah yang masuk di TPA sampai dengan tahun 2033 sebesar 30 Ha jika digunakan teknologi reusable sanatary landfill. Abstract

Hadiwarno Village is one of the regional villages in Pacitan Regency which has a large number of shrimp ponds of around 28.95 hectares. Shrimp ponds have been operating since 2015. Shrimp pond activities have the potential for liquid waste to seep into groundwater, requiring further processing. The purpose of this research was to determine the status of groundwater quality due to shrimp pond waste in the study area. The types of methods used in research are qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection uses survey and mapping methods. Groundwater sampling using a systematic sampling method with an interval of 15 meters from the shrimp ponds. The data analysis method used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods for pollution indices, the relationship between chemical geophysical aspects, problems and impacts from shrimp pond waste. The results showed that the value of the status of water quality in the study area at the three sample points was included in the slightly polluted classification with a pollution index value of 2.1766 to 4.9625

Abstract

 The mining activities of PT. XXX are conducted using the open cast mining method to extract nickel ore. In addition to mining, PT. XXX also processes its nickel ore. The nickel ore processing includes drying, reduction, smelting, refining, and granulation. These processing activities potentially cause particulate dispersion in the air. The purpose of this research is to determine air quality based on the Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU) using parameters of Particulate Matter 2.5 µm (PM2.5) and Particulate Matter 10 µm (PM10). This study employs a purposive sampling method for collecting ambient air quality samples using a portable Aeroqual S500 device. Measurements were taken at 5 points around the Process Plant area where air quality deterioration is likely to occur. The air quality data was analyzed based on the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. P.14/MENLHK/7/2020 concerning the Air Pollution Standard Index. Based on the measurement results at the five points in the PP area, several points exceeded the quality standards for Particulate Matter 2.5 µm (PM2.5) and Particulate Matter 10 µm (PM10). The highest concentrations of PM2.5 were found in the T1, measuring 30,666 µg/m3 and PM10 were found in the T3, measuring 105,031 µg/m3 respectively. However, according to the ISPU calculations performed at each sampling point, the air quality is still classified as moderate and remains acceptable for living organisms..  The mining activities of PT.
