Abstract

Pesantren modern merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memadukan isi kurikulum, antara kurikulum yang diterapkan di madrasah dengan kurikulum hasil modifikasi pesantren itu sendiri. Kurikulum terpadu tersebut dianggap lebih efektif di dalam pengembangan para santriwan/wati. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami proses penerapan kurikulum terpadu di sebuah pesantren moderen di Aceh Besar. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu pesantren moderen di Aceh Besar melakukan beberapa strategi di dalam pemaduan kurikulum:

Abstract

Indonesian Muslims have made their presence in Australia since the 1970s. Some of them now have become citizens and others preferred to be permanent residents. As they have lived in Australia, in which Islam is not the dominant religion, they were concerned with their children’s religiosity. These Muslims attempted to teach Islam to their children in any way possible. This research, therefore aims at exploring Indonesian Muslims’ parents’ ways of teaching Islam to their children, and their children’s responses on their parents’ approaches in educating them Islam. Using in-depth interviews, the study unveiled that the parents used various aproaches. Their approaches were democratic, in which a great deal of dialogues and neggotiation took place. They also monitored their children’s attitudes and kept reminding them about Islam; setting the role models was also a significant approach used in teaching Islam to their children, and balancing the public schooling and the madrasah. The findings also revealed that these young Muslims recognized the significant role their parents have taken to teach them Islam and shape their religiosity and they were thankful for their parents although some dissenting views on several issues also emerged.

Abstract

Akhir-akhir ini kasus kerusakan lingkungan hidup di Indonesia semakin parah. Untuk itu harus ada tindakan progresif dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Salah satunya melalui dunia pendidikan dengan cara mengintegrasikan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan pendidikan lingkungan dalam proses pembelajaran. Lembaga pendidikan yang telah menerapkan hal tersebut dan satu sekolah yang menerapkan program adiwiyata sejak tahun 2018 hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui: 1) model integrasi pendidikan agama Islam dengan pendidikan lingkungan di SMPN1 Labuapi dan 2) implikasi penerapan model integrasi Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendidikan lingkungan terhadap perilaku peduli lingkungan siswa SMPN 1 Labuapi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan mengambil latar belakang SMPN 1 Labuapi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, subjek penelitian ini yaitu Kepala sekolah, Wakil Kepala sekolah, Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, siswa dan pengelola tim adiwiyata. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta pengambilan sampel sumber data yang dilakukan secara purposif dan nowball dan menggunakan teknik keabsahan data trianggulasi data. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut:1) Model integrasi yang dilakukan di SMPN 1 Labuapi dilaksanakan oleh Guru PAI dalam tiga bentuk yang pertama dengan megintegrasikan pendidikan lingkungan ke dalam pembelajaran PAI yang sedang diajarkannya. Kedua dengan menjadi contoh teladan yang baik ketika berada di luar ruangan dengan memberikan contoh teladan seperti membueng sampah pada tempatnya. Ketiga dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan lingkungan ke dalam budaya sekolah. 2) implikasi penerapan model integrasi Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendidikan lingkungan terhadap perilaku peduli lingkungan siswa di SMPN 1 Labuapi, memiliki tiga dampak yaitu meningkatnya kesadaran menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, terbentuknya kebiasaan peduli lingkungan dan terbentuknya sikap gemar merawat lingkungan dari peserta didik

Abstract

The present survey study investigates Madrasah Aliyah students' interests in continuing their studies to the Islamic Religious Colleges and the factors that influence them. The participants were 177(one hundred and seventy-seven) students of Class XII from Madrasah Aliyah and Islamic Boarding Schools in Palangka Raya City. Data were obtained by distributing the questionnaires consisting of the participants’ demographic information and the questions related to interests. Data were analysed through descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that: 1) the students who are interested in continuing their study to higher education institutions are 43.5% out of all participants, the others do not have a plan and decide not to continue their studies because of the low economic backgrounds of their parents who work as construction labourers, small traders, laundry workers, and other jobs. 2) the factors that influence interest in registering at IAIN Palangka Raya are the parents, students’ desires, peers, and family economic status. 3) IAIN Palangka Raya occupies the top position known to students in Madrasah Aliyah in Palangka Raya City.  The most dominant sources of information on the existence of IAIN Palangka Raya as one of the Islamic Religious College are from their friends, and others are from their families, neighbours, brochures, social media, schools, and teachers.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian antropologi sastra yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam berbagai nilai budaya masyarakat suku Banjar dan Dayak yang direpresentasikan dalam novel Jendela Seribu Sungai karya Miranda Seftiana dan Avesina Soebli. Pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan antropologi sastra, suatu pendekatan interdisipliner yang secara khusus mengkaji berbagai aspek kebudayaan manusia yang tercermin melalui karya sastra. Selanjutnya, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan teknik analisis isi yang meliputi tahapan identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan interpretasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan lima nilai budaya masyarakat suku Banjar yang direpresentasikan dalam novel Jendela Seribu Sungai karya Miranda Seftiana dan Avesina Soebli. Pertama, percaya adanya kekuasaan Tuhan dan senantiasa terus berdoa kepada Tuhan. Kedua, manusia harus dapat menjaga dan menggunakan alam dengan sebaik-baiknya agar dapatbermanfaat dalam kehidupan. Ketiga, manusia tidak dapat hidup sendiri karena merupakan makhluk sosial. Keempat, musyawarah, saling membantu dan saling mengasihi antarsesama. Kelima, manusiabertanggung jawab terhadap kelangsungan hidupnya sendiri untuk membuat hidupnya menjadi lebih baik.Kata kunci: kebudayaan, nilai budaya, antropologi sastra  AbstractThis study aims to describe the cultural values of the people of Banjar and Dayak tribes are represented in the novel of Jendela Seribu Sungai by Miranda Seftiana and Avesina Soebli.The method used in this research is literary anthropology approach. It examines various aspects of human culture which is reflected through literary works. Furthermore, the research used qualitative descriptive method and content analysis technique are used to analyze the data, they are respectively, data identification, data classification, and data interpretation. The results found five cultural values of the people of Banjar tribe and Dayak that is representedin the novel of Jendela Seribu Sungai by Miranda Seftiana and Avesina Soebli. First, believe in the power of God and always continue to pray to God. Second, humans must be able to maintain and use nature as well as possible so that it can be useful in life. Third, humans cannot live alone because the people are social creatures. Fourth, deliberation, helping each other and sharing among each other. Fifth, humans are responsible for their own survival to make their lives better.Keywords: cultural, cultural value, literary anthropology

Abstract

Pada saat akan menjadi mahasiswa maupun kegiatan perkuliahan praktikum Praktik Membaca al-Quran (PMQ), mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya telah mengikuti test membaca al-Quran namun kemampuan membaca masih belum maksimal diperoleh mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan untuk membaca al-Quran dengan baik dan benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencoba menggali problem sebelum dan proses yang dilalui mahasiswa, sehingga akan ditemukan solusi atas persoalan kemampuan baca al-Quran mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya. Penelitian dilakukan di IAIN Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Informan adalah mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah: wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Metodologi yang digunakan mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya dalam mempelajari al-Quran pertama kali dominan diperoleh dari orang tua, kemudian diperoleh dari keluarga lainnya, selanjutnya diperoleh melalui guru mengaji maupun lembaga. Pendayagunaan kompetensi baca al-Quran oleh mahasiswa IAIN Palangka Raya, jika senantiasa dibaca dan dipelajari akan semakin baik bacaan al-Quran bahkan dapat mengajarkan kepada yang lainnya. Refleksi yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran al-Quran ketenangan hati, mendapatkan petunjuk, pahala yang berlipat dari bacaan al-Quran.Kata Kunci : Metodologi, Belajar, Baca Tulis al-Quran

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the Influence of leaderships style toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, (2) the Influence of work environment toward Teachers’ Work Motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency, and (3) the influence of leaderships style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation at Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. This was a quantitative study. The research population comprised teachers at Junior High Schools in Bandar Sribhawono Distric, East Lampung Regency. The sample consisted of 35 respondents from 9 Junior High Schools in Bandar SribhawonoDistric, East Lampung Regency. The research instruments were a questionnaire, observation, and interview. The data analysis technique in the study was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 1,689 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style toward teachers’ work motivation is 43.2%. (2)There is a significant and positive influence of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of TCount is 7,812 greater that Ttabel is 1,689 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 39,0%. (3) There is a significant and positive influence of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation. It can be seen from the result of FCount is 31,112 greater that Ttabel is 2,247 and the significant value was 0,000 at the significant level of 5% (0,05). So it can be said that 0,000<0,05. The influence value of leadership style and work environment toward teachers’ work motivation is 66,0%.

Abstract

This study was an ethnography study aimed to describe in depth on the preservation and revitalization of Palembang Malay language in Palembang through the traditional art of Dulmuluk. The data were collected by using interviews, observations, field notes, document studies, questionnaires, and photography. The data analysis was done by using the ethnography method of Spradley’s Developmental Sequence Research. The steps of the research were; (1) determination of focus, (2) requesting questions, (3) data collection, (4) analyzing and interpreting data. In addition, the researcher analyzed the field notes from observation on the participants to find out questions and then analyzed the field notes. There are four types of analysis that had been done namely; domain, taxonomic, component and theme analysis. Based on the analysis, the research result shows that in the traditional art of Dulmuluk, Palembang Malay language is still being preserved. The Palembang Malay language still dominates the language uses in the traditional art of Dulmuluk. It is also found that the traditional art of Dulmuluk is being faded away due to the monotonous of the story’s plot and less adapted to the development and the change of the current era so that it is hard for the traditional art of Dulmuluk to compete with the modern art. The effort that can be done to preserve and revitalize the traditional art of Dulmuluk is to create the story with the theme that is relevant to the development and the change of the current era. If it is succeed, it will also affect the preservation of Palembang Malay language. Therefore, the shift and the extinction of the Palembang Malay language can be avoided.

Abstract

According to Islamic teachings, human beings are connected to each other, and as such, they naturally require the company of other people. Due to their inherent weakness, humans depend on the support of people around them. Thus, it is not unusual to refer to humans as social beings. This is owing to the fact that humans are beings who will always require the company of other people. This suggests that all Muslims have a duty to uphold friendship, whether it is through familial ties (descendants) or brotherly relationships with other Muslims. It is necessary for non-Muslims to uphold the virtue of mutual respect and appreciation, even if they go about it in various ways. It is hard to establish harmony and peace within a society if its people lack affection, as this always results in arguments, animosity, and ultimately, murder. For this reason, shilaturrahim (engaging with others)—both general and specific—are essential to bringing about the world's peace, harmony, and unification of humanity. Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of students at Az-Zahrah Islamic High School Palembang in recognizing the intrinsic elements of the short film entitled "Sekawan Limo" using YouTube as a medium. By taking advantage of advances in information technology, it is hoped that students can take advantage of digital platforms as an efficient learning tool. This training activity involves the introduction of intrinsic elements such as themes, characters, plots, settings, perspectives, and messages. The methodology used during the training includes initial tests, teaching material, watching movies, discussions, and assessments. The findings of this study show that there is an increase in students' understanding of the intrinsic elements of film after participating in training. The use of YouTube as a learning tool was declared effective in improving students' analytical skills.
