Abstract

Critical Thinking Skills is an activity or a process of analyzing , explaining and developing or selecting ideas , includes categorizing , comparing and contracting ( contrasting ) , examine arguments and assumptions , completing and evaluating the conclusions of induction and deduction , set priorities and make choices. There are three terms related to thinking skills , which is actually quite different ; ie higher-level thinking (high level thinking) , think complex (complex thinking) , and critical thinking (critical thinking). Thinking skills is actually a skill that can be learned and taught , both at school and through independent study. Noteworthy in the teaching of thinking skills is that skills must be done through exercise that is appropriate to the stage of cognitive development of learners.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the learning management of Islamic Education at SDN 3 Kereng Bangkirei Palangkaraya. This research used a qualitative approach. The subject of research were the teacher of Islamic education class III at SDN 3 Kereng Bangkirei Palangkaraya, while the informants were the principal, the classroom teacher, and several students of class III at SDN 3 Kereng Bangkirei Palangkaraya. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validation was carried out by means of triangulation. Data analysis consists of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The research result showed that: 1) The learning management of Islamic Education, starting from the implementation of pre-activity, the delivery of materials, the use of methods, the use of media, and the implementation of post-activity, was conducted well. Its implementation was also in accordance with what had been formulated in the lesson plan. 2) The factors supporting the learning implementation of Islamic education at SDN 3 Kereng Bangkirei Palangkaraya were the availability of classrooms with desks and chairs for teacher and students, teacher’s handbook, and textbooks which could be borrowed by students, while the factors inhibiting the learning implementation of Islamic education at SDN 3 Kereng Bangkirei Palangkaraya were the unavailability of the worship space and the lack of tools or learning media.

Abstract

The present survey study investigates Madrasah Aliyah students' interests in continuing their studies to the Islamic Religious Colleges and the factors that influence them. The participants were 177(one hundred and seventy-seven) students of Class XII from Madrasah Aliyah and Islamic Boarding Schools in Palangka Raya City. Data were obtained by distributing the questionnaires consisting of the participants’ demographic information and the questions related to interests. Data were analysed through descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that: 1) the students who are interested in continuing their study to higher education institutions are 43.5% out of all participants, the others do not have a plan and decide not to continue their studies because of the low economic backgrounds of their parents who work as construction labourers, small traders, laundry workers, and other jobs. 2) the factors that influence interest in registering at IAIN Palangka Raya are the parents, students’ desires, peers, and family economic status. 3) IAIN Palangka Raya occupies the top position known to students in Madrasah Aliyah in Palangka Raya City.  The most dominant sources of information on the existence of IAIN Palangka Raya as one of the Islamic Religious College are from their friends, and others are from their families, neighbours, brochures, social media, schools, and teachers.

Abstract

MAN Palangkaraya is the partner schools of the ministries of Religious Affairs and the status is very proud achievement, and graduation reach 100% of the National level (UAMMN) and pass the National Exam (UN), and is accredited A.Based on the explanation above, the writer was interested in and choose the title of Education Quality Assurance in MAN Model Palangka Raya. The purpose of this study was to answer the problem of this research  How does the achievement of quality standards of education in MAN Palangka Raya.The place of this research is MAN Palangkaraya at Jl.Tjilik Riwut km. 4,5 Palangka Raya. This study used qualitative methods. The data collection did by observation, interview and documentation. The subjects of this research were headmaster and wakamad as an informant, teachers and educators, and alumni. The validity of the data by using trasferbilitas, accountability, reliability, credibility.The results of the research showed that: Implementation of quality assurance in MAN Palangka Raya includes the standard process such as; teachers and educators and competency standards. Achievement of quality assurance in MAN  Palangka Raya have been achieved such as monitoring, evaluation, certification, accreditation and national exams both internally and externally is carried out by the relevant agencies such as the Ministry of Religious Affairs and The Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office. Abstract

Teaching materials in the learning process plays a very important. If the teacher can utilize the teaching materials as well, then the faculty can share the role with teaching materials. Besides lecturers using appropriate teaching materials can save time in teaching and lecturers can change the role of a teacher becomes a facilitator, and to improve the learning process becomes more effective and interactive. For students, teaching materials can help learners become independent and can be used to measure the competence that has been owned by students. The local culture course is programmed elective courses in the sixth semester of 2017 and listed on the curriculum of Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education courses. Teaching materials that have been used in the learning activities is a simple teaching material prepared by the lecturer by using a reference from the internet and books are minimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students to instructional materials subject to local culture. The research subject was a student from 2017, amounting to 25 data was collected using observation sheets and questionnaires lectures open to students. Observations show that the obstacles encountered in the course of learning the local culture is not teaching materials that can be used as a handle in the learning process. The results of the questionnaire analysis needs of students to instructional materials show that the teaching materials needed by the students is in the form of modules and textbooks.

Abstract

This study is to describe the readiness of teachers in Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) during the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2021 academic year. This is motivated by the importance of teacher readiness in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, namely by implementing Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT). in the teaching and learning process. This study uses a method with a qualitative approach to the type of evaluation research using the CIPP model. The subjects of this study were two PAI subject teachers and Budi Pekerti. The results of this study indicate that teacher readiness is viewed from the four components in the CIPP model as follows; 1) the context component of teacher readiness in learning planning that the teacher downloads the lesson plans and syllabus from the internet. The learning objectives are not formulated based on the ABCD formula. Learning activities follow the lesson plans from the internet and there is no assessment in the lesson plans. LKPD uses multiple choice daily test sheets. Instructional media using the blackboard 2) The input component of teacher readiness in learning in terms of methods using lectures, questions and answers and assignments. The material aspect is taken in the student book. 3) The components of the learning process process, there are several activities that have not been carried out, such as the preliminary activities the teacher does not convey the learning objectives, in the core activities many learning steps are not carried out and in the closing activities the teacher does not conduct an assessment. 4) The product component of student learning outcomes is seen from the affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

The aims this study is the utilization of Internet media by students on science subjects in Faculty of Teacher Training and Science Teaching State Islamic Institute Palangka Raya. The method used in this research is the Mixed Method, which is a merger between quantitative and qualitative methods in a single study. Data collection techniques are observation , interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique that is editing, tabulating, analyzing and concluding. The results of this study are based on the results of questionnaires known that 36 students obtained information about the level of utilization of the Internet as a source of learning in the subjects of science education as follows: 8 students (22.22%) criteria very well, 18 students (50.00%) criteria, 10 students (27.78%) criteria good enough, 0 students (0.00%) said that the use of the internet as a learning resource study science subjects in the criteria is not good and is not very good. Students use the Internet as a source of learning ,. because with the Internet can assist students in finding information and tasks subjects Education Sciences. If there is no task that many in the college access is facebook, google, yahoo, twitter and youtube.. Factors supporting the use of the Internet as a source of student learning, among others, the demands of the lecturers to fulfill the tasks subjects Education, learning resources available on the internet is more complete, helps the reviewer got the course, making it easier to perform tasks, the existing information more clearly and valid, faster in search of information, resources realy more complete knowledge, the existence of hotspots on campus, which is up to date news / new, lower-cost, easily accessible, curiosity and needs.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the learning strategies used by the religious teachers of MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method The results of this study indicate that religious teachers at MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya use an online learning strategy by making teaching videos and creating a WhatsApp group to share videos, attendance, and assignments with students, as well as questions and answers regarding learning material that was unclear for students. Religious teachers in MTs Muslimat NU Palangkaraya run an online learning strategy with the supporting factor that all teachers and students have Hp, internet networks in schools, and all the teachers and students have app WhatsApp faced. The obstacle faced is that the teacher has difficulty checking student assignments because there are several students sending assignments at once not according to the assignment collection schedule. Keywords: covid-19, learning, pandemic, strategies. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru keagamaan di MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya selama masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru keagamaan di MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya menggunakan strategi pembelajaran daring dengan membuat video mengajar dan membuat group whatsapp untu berbagi video, absensi dan tugas kepada siswa, serta tanya jawab terkait materi pembelajaran yang kurang jelas. Guru keagamaan di MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya menerapkan strategi pembelajaran daring dengan faktor pendukung yaitu semua guru dan siswa memiliki Hp, ada internet di sekolah, dan semua guru dan siswa memiliki aplikasi whatsapp. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah guru kesulitan untuk mengecek tugas siswa karena ada beberapa siswa yang mengirimkan tugas secara bersamaan tidak sesuai dengan jadwal pengumpulan tugas. Kata kunci: covid-19, pandemi, pembelajaran, strategi.

Abstract

Saat ini pariwisata berkembang pesat. Permasalahannya, kemajuan suatu kawasan wisata tidak menjamin peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat karena rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata. Hal ini dikarenakan perkembangan pariwisata di Indonesia beberapa tahun terakhir ini telah memasuki tatanan baru. Untuk pengembangan tersebut, telah dilakukan strategi melalui pengembangan desa wisata, salah satunya adalah Desa Wisata Bukit Bamba yang terletak di Kecamatan Kahayan Tengah Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Dengan berkembangnya wisata edukasi (Edu Tourism) dan wisata kesehatan (Wellness Tourism). Karena kesehatan dan pendidikan adalah dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Pendidikan adalah proses dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu, tidak mengerti menjadi mengerti, sedangkan kesehatan adalah bagaimana kita menjaga kesehatan dan berubah dari sakit menjadi sehat. Dengan pendidikan kita menjadi pintar dalam menjaga kesehatan, mulai mampu mempersiapkan generasi yang unggul untuk masa depan, dengan pendidikan kita bisa lebih mengutamakan masa depan daripada ego yang konsumtif. Maka kita menyadari bahwa pendidikan dan kesehatan adalah dua pilar sebuah negara, termasuk Indonesia.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the limitations of teaching materials in the subject of Education tend to be carried out manually. The formulation of the problem in this study is that is it feasible for blended Learning-based teaching materials in the Educational Sciences course to be used in the PAI Study Program. This study aims to produce products in the form of Blended Learning-based teaching materials in PAI Education Study Program subjects. This research uses development research methods, carried out through ten stages using the Dick and Carey model. To find out the feasibility of the product being developed, quantitative data is needed in the form of response scores about product quality through a questionnaire validated by media experts and material experts and student responses. The results of the study showed that teaching materials based on blended learning through the Macromedia Flash 8 program in the subject of Education in the first semester of the PAI study program on the components of education had a “very good” feasibility category which was based on the percentage gain using the Likert scale. The results of validation and trials include (1) the validation of the material expert said that the final percentage obtained from the material and linguistic aspects is 89.09% with very good criteria, (2) Validation of media experts stated that the final percentage obtained from material and display aspects was 100,00% with very good criteria, (3) Individual trials stated that the final percentage obtained from material and display aspects is 78.95% with good criteria (4) Small group trials state that the final percentage obtained is 90,67% with very good criteria (5) and field trials state that the final percentage obtained is 91,40% with very good criteria.single paragraph of abstract, about 150-250 words without indentation of the first line with 1 spaces and 11-point. We strongly encourage authors to use the following style of structured abstracts, but without heading: (1) Background: place the gap analysis of this study (about 1-2 sentences) and highlight the purposes of the study; (2) Methods: briefly describe the main methods applied, including samples/participants, instruments, collecting data technique, and analyzing data technique; (3) Results: summarizing the article’s main findings, should be in line with the purposes of the study; (4) Conclusion. The abstract should be an objective representation of the article. It must not contain results that are not presented and substantiated in the main text and should not exaggerate the main conclusions.
