Abstract

Errors in writing in Indonesian made by writing training participants have indeed become a characteristic. This is because the trainees have just learned how to write in Indonesian properly and correctly. Therefore, syntactic error analysis needs to be done to identify variations of errors and the causes of errors made by writing trainees. The analysis was conducted to improve the quality of writing training for trainees in terms of providing training materials. The analysis was carried out using a descriptive analysis method on eight articles of training participants. The forms of errors identified in the writing of the writing training participants included the use of conjunctions, sentence order, use of question words, sentence pattern errors, and completeness of sentence structure. Overall, the most dominant error was the trainee's writing error in using conjunctions. Meanwhile, the cause of the error occurred because the trainees did not know how to write sentences in Indonesian correctly and according to Indonesian rules.

Abstract

The teacher's writing ability is still low. This is triggered by the condition of the teachers who do not have sufficient insight about writing and are not used to doing research. If teachers do not have good writing and reading skills, of course, the literacy level in schools cannot be expected to grow optimally. The reason is, teachers are the foundation in building literacy in schools. Therefore, teachers need to be given space to be skilled at writing. The method used is structured writing training using the KBM App application. This application makes it easy for teachers to write because teachers only need to use a smartphone/mobile phone to write. On the sidelines of time, teachers can write while lying down at home even once. The writing training activity lasted for a day with two broad materials, namely material for using the KBM App application, training in writing popular articles, and writing training with the KBM App application. From this training, teachers have increased their knowledge and skills in writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan uji efektivitas pada penggunaan metode pembelajaran project based learning, outcame based education, dan bermain peran terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menguji coba integrasi tiga metode secara bersamaan di dalam pembelajaran. Data kemudian diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dalam pelaksanaannya, metode ini mengajak mahasiswa untuk secara langsung berbicara di depan publik. Melalui project based learning, mahasiswa dipandu untuk mengadakan kegiatan webinar mini. Secara langsung, mahasiswa bisa mendapatkan pengalaman nyata berbicara di depan publik menghasilkan video materi webinar dan modul materi secara singkat sebagai luaran pembelajaran di kelas. Sementara itu, melalui bermain peran, mahasiswa menjadi narasumber, moderator, MC, pembaca doa, dan pengarah kuis dalam kegiatan webinar. Mahasiswa juga mencari peserta di luar kelas untuk hadir dalam acara webinar. Setelah uji coba, nilai rata-rata sebelum pelaksanaan metode adalah 65, sementara setelah metode diterapkan, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 85. Kemudian, integrasi metode ini efektif dilaksanakan karena mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mereka.

Abstract

The National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago is located in North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The transfer and development of IKN does not only have an impact on moving the country's capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan, but also on the future development of IKN which includes social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects. This impact created sentiment in society. For this reason, this research was conducted to identify public sentiment towards IKN development in Indonesia through comments on YouTube. Data in the form of sentiment from public comments on YouTube which comes from data sources in the form of videos selected based on the highest total comments regarding IKN. Data was collected and analyzed using the Python system with stages of Web scraping, pre-processing, sentiment analysis, and classification methods. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, positive sentiment, neutral sentiment and positive sentiment are distinguished. Meanwhile, positive sentiment can be seen from the words good and prosperous, negative sentiment can be seen from the words debt, corruption and pessimism, while neutral sentiment is related to prices, investors and toll money. This overall sentiment leads to rejection and acceptance of IKN development by the government. The reason is that the impact caused after the construction was a trigger for the emergence of comments on YouTube videos which led to public sentiment. The results of this analysis can be used as hope for the government to anticipate IKN development that will have a negative impact.

Abstract

Toponimi jalan merupakan representasi linguistik yang mencerminkan identitas sosial dan budaya suatu daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji struktur bahasa yang digunakan dalam penamaan jalan di Provinsi Bali, serta memproyeksikan peran dan transformasinya dalam konteks kultural di masa depan. Kajian dilakukan melalui analisis linguistik terhadap nama-nama jalan yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah Bali, dengan fokus pada unsur morfologis, sintaksis, dan semantis yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penamaan jalan di Bali didominasi oleh unsur bahasa daerah, tokoh-tokoh lokal, istilah religius, dan elemen geografis yang kuat. Struktur tersebut memperlihatkan keterikatan erat antara bahasa dan nilai-nilai lokal masyarakat Bali. Namun, dalam menghadapi arus globalisasi, pariwisata, dan digitalisasi sistem informasi geografis, keberadaan dan bentuk toponimi tersebut berpotensi mengalami pergeseran. Proyeksi kultural menunjukkan bahwa pelestarian struktur linguistik dalam penamaan jalan menjadi penting untuk menjaga kontinuitas identitas budaya Bali di tengah perubahan zaman. Kajian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi kebijakan penamaan jalan yang berwawasan budaya dan berpandangan ke masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru Bahasa Indonesia SMP di Kota Surabaya melalui pemanfaatan digitalisasi praktik baik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah belum optimalnya dokumentasi dan diseminasi praktik baik yang dihasilkan guru dalam forum MGMP, sehingga potensi inovasi pembelajaran belum tersebar secara luas. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui digitalisasi praktik baik dari hasil kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas.  Metode pelaksanaan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Sekitar 50 guru mengikuti kegiatan ini yang mencakup pretest, pelatihan literasi digital, praktik unggah karya pada platform https://guru.thalibulilmi.com/, serta posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi pedagogik guru, ditandai dengan nilai posttest yang tinggi serta respon positif dari peserta, di mana lebih dari 85% menyatakan kegiatan ini sesuai kebutuhan. Oleh karena itu, digitalisasi praktik baik cukup efektif sebagai sarana kolaboratif dalam pengembangan profesionalisme antara Guru Bahasa Indonesia Tingkat SMP di Surabaya.

Abstract

Scientific writing is a critical skill for university students, both for academic success and personal development through writing competitions. However, many students struggle with structuring scientific papers, applying analytical techniques, and navigating the publication process. These challenges are often caused by limited scientific literacy and can delay academic progress, particularly the completion of final projects or theses. To address this issue, a training program using a digital flipbook in magazine format was conducted at the Primary School Teacher Education Program of Universitas Nusa Cendana. The program aimed to enhance students' writing competence and digital literacy through accessible, engaging learning media. The program involved 41 students and included pre- and post-tests, training on scientific writing principles, practical exercises, and interactive discussions. The flipbook, accessible via mobile devices, offered structured guidance and visual appeal, making it easier for students to revisit and understand the content. Results indicated significant improvements in students’ understanding and motivation. More than 85% of participants rated the flipbook positively in terms of readability, content clarity, and design. The digital format not only facilitated flexible learning but also encouraged consistent engagement with scientific writing practices.
