Abstract

The main objective of this study is to explore the relationship between self-efficacy, ability to solve mathematical problems, and higher level thinking skills (HOTS), by paying attention to the influence of learning style on the success of the learning process. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which is conducted through searching literature from various scientific sources relevant to data collection using Google Scholar, published in the period 2020–2025. The study process is carried out through the planning, implementation, and reporting stages which include identification, selection, and this study also involves the analysis of articles that focus on subjects that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study show that self-efficacy has a significant role in improving students' ability to solve mathematical problems that require high-level thinking skills (HOTS). Students with a high level of self-efficacy tend to have a more systematic sense of confidence, perseverance, and a more systematic mindset when facing complex problems. In addition, the effectiveness  of the influence of self-efficacy is influenced by the learning style and learning strategies applied. Students with learning styles that align with certain teaching methods show better performance in higher-level thinking. Therefore, effective mathematics learning must be arranged adaptively by integrating  strengthening self-efficacy, developing HOTS skills, and adjusting to students' learning styles. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference in designing learning strategies that are able to encourage continuous improvement in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills

Abstract

Keterampilan pemecahan masalah merupakan aktivitas kognitif yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir aktif dan menemukan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika pada siswa, yang disebabkan oleh dominasi model pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru yang masih mengandalkan metode ceramah dan hafalan rumus untuk menghadapi permasalahan rutin. Integrasi model Problem Based Learning dapat dijadikan alternatif solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tren, jenjang pendidikan, dan jenis penelitian yang paling dominan dalam studi peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui model PBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review dengan pendekatan PRISMA, yang meliputi beberapa tahapan seperti identifikasi, penyaringan, penilaian kelayakan, dan inklusi 10 artikel ilmiah terpilih yang terbit antara tahun 2020 dan 2025. Artikel-artikel tersebut ditelusuri menggunakan basis data jurnal nasional dan internasional seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, dan ERIC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui model PBL meningkat secara signifikan dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024, dengan fokus utama pada jenjang SMP. Jenis penelitian yang dominan adalah kuantitatif, terutama metode kuasi eksperimen, sementara pendekatan kualitatif dan campuran masih terbatas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, sekaligus membuka peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut di jenjang pendidikan lain dengan metode yang lebih beragam.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of the Theoregama application with the theme of Pandhawa Lima for SPLDV material. Development was carried out using the ADDIE model up to the expert validation stage, by combining React Native technology and local cultural elements to produce interactive and contextual learning. Validation involved three media experts and three material experts, using an assessment instrument that covered aspects of appearance, navigation, compatibility, technical stability, material suitability, conceptual accuracy, and clarity of presentation. The validation results from the media experts showed a feasibility percentage of 97% and the material experts 87.57%, both of which are categorized as very feasible. These findings confirm that Theoregama meets the standards for media quality and learning content. With the integration of local culture and the support of digital scaffolding, this application has the potential to improve understanding of SPLDV concepts. Further research in the form of field trials is needed to assess its practicality and effectiveness in learning. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menilai kelayakan Aplikasi Theoregama bertema Pandhawa Lima  untuk materi SPLDV. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE hingga tahap validasi ahli, dengan memadukan teknologi React Native dan unsur budaya lokal untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual. Validasi melibatkan tiga ahli media dan tiga ahli materi, menggunakan instrumen penilaian yang mencakup aspek tampilan, navigasi, kompatibilitas, stabilitas teknis, kesesuaian materi, keakuratan konsep, serta kejelasan penyajian. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan persentase kelayakan 97% dan ahli materi 87,57%, keduanya termasuk kategori sangat layak. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Theoregama memenuhi standar kualitas media dan isi pembelajaran. Dengan integrasi budaya lokal dan dukungan scaffolding digital, aplikasi ini berpotensi meningkatkan pemahaman konsep SPLDV. Penelitian lanjutan berupa uji coba lapangan diperlukan untuk menilai kepraktisan dan efektivitasnya dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara menyeluruh, tentunya tidak sekedar dilakukan oleh guru saja. Namun proses evaluasi dilakukan oleh seluruh masyarakat sekolah yang berada pada lingkungan tersebut. Diantaranya oleh : kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, tenaga kependidikan dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Untuk menghasilkan proses evaluasi pembelajaran matematika yang maksimal dan sesuai dengan tujuan evauasi maka perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika secara matang. Proses evaluasi pembelajaran tidak hanya pada sekolah formal namun pada sekolah nonformal dalam hal ini khusus pada kejar paket B, dimana perlu adanya evaluasi pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini dikarenakan pada proses pembelajaran matematika pada kejar paket B masih terkesan seadanya. Sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), dengan objek evaluasi adalah pengelola, tutor/guru matematika, dan siswa kejar paket B..Kata Kunci: Desain evaluasi pembelajaran matematika, Model CIPP.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine whether the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can enhance students' problem solving skills on the topic integral in class XII-10 of SHS 4 Semarang odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles, encompassing four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 36 students of class XII-10 of SHS 4 Semarang. Data were obtained through a problem solving ability test. Based on the research and analysis conducted, it was found that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a positive impact on improving the problem solving skills of students of class XII-10 of SHS 4 Semarang in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This is evidenced by a significant improvement in problem solving skills between Cycle I and Cycle II. In the first cycle, the average score for problem solving skills reached 75.87, but in the second cycle, this average score increased to 87.50. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' problem solving skills.

Abstract

One of the mathematical skills that students must master is the ability to reason mathematically. However, in reality, this skill has not yet been fully mastered by students. This study is a classroom action research conducted over two cycles at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. The subjects of the study were students from class XII D-1. The purpose of this study are to describe the process of implementing mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by GeoGebra as an effort to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning engagement in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang, to determine the improvement in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses after mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by GeoGebra, and to determine the improvement in students' learning engagement in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang after the implementation of mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by GeoGebra. The results of the study indicate an improvement in students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning engagement

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the pre-cycle in class XI-2 of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang which showed that mathematical representation ability was relatively low with average mathematical representation ability test score of 45 with classical completion percentage of 19% and self-confidence level in moderate category of 49.75%. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of PBL assisted by quizizz to improve mathematical representation ability and self-confidence of class XI-2 students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is classroom action research with three-cycle design that includes the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The indicator of the success of this research is percentage of classical completion of mathematical representation ability test results is 80% reaching KKM 70 and average self-confidence is at least at 75% or very high. The results of this study are the percentage of pre-cycle completion is 19% increasing in cycle I to 55.6%, in cycle II to 69.4%, and in cycle III to 80.6%. While the percentage of pre-cycle self-confidence questionnaire data is 49.7%, in cycle I to 69.14%, in cycle II to 73.53%, and finally reaching 78.08% in cycle III with very high self-confidence category. It can be concluded that implementation of PBL assisted by quizizz can improve the mathematical representation ability and self-confidence of class XI-2 students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang.
