Abstract

This study aims to analyze, develop, and test the effectiveness of interactive learning media in 3D Animation subjects. This research uses research and development methods using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study were class XI students of Multimedia SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman. This research design uses data collection techniques using questionnaires to analyze product needs, using validity tests to test the feasibility of the developed products and using Quasy experiment pretest-posttest to test effectiveness. This research uses validators of design experts, material experts, linguists and media experts to validate interactive learning media to be developed. The validity results that have been given by experts in the product validity test show an average percentage of 96% which shows very good and valid qualification. Analysis of research data was carried out by using the validity of questionnaires and T-tests to compare achievement results in classes before being applied to experimental and control classes. The significant difference is evidenced by the results of the T-test calculation which explains that equal variances assumed sig values. (2-tailled) of 0.012 < 0.05, so the data shows significant. These results show the effectiveness of the "3D Teacher" learning media in improving learning in 3D Animation subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) analyze the application of synchronization-based industrial practice systems at SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen; (2) develop a synchronization-based industrial practice system application at SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen; and (3) test the feasibility of the developed school synchronization-based industrial practice system application. The research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the codeigniter framework application. The subjects of the study included students of class XI TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen, Gunungkidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data analysis uses quantitative analysis. The expected result is the application of industry practices that will be used to monitor students during industry practices based on the Codeigniter framework system. The results of the study include: (1) the PI monitoring system still uses conventional methods, monitoring guidance teachers directly come to the students to carry out PI. Students during attendance still use the presisnsi sheet held by the IDUKA supervisor, students also make activity journals on paper that has been provided by the school to fill in every day; (2) development of a PI monitoring system using the codeigniter framework application that makes it easier for guidance teachers, IDUKA supervisors and students to carry out PI implementation; and (3) a pilot of the PI monitoring system involving 56 students, five teachers, three IDUKA places is very easy to use and more effective

Abstract

Research objectives is for developing e-modules based learning project that can support skills 21st century on the Basic Automotive Engineering lessons at School Intermediate Vocational / Vocational School. Research methods use ADDIE model with five stages, i. e Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement & Evaluate model (Branch, 2009). Analyze stage done for identify needs and challenges in learning the basics of automotive engineering as well as gather input from the stakeholders’ interests. Design and develop stage involve designing and creating e-modules based learning appropriate project with characteristics eye lessons and needs students. After e-module developed, stage implement product done for evaluate feasibility and effectiveness in support learning. Research and development results are: (1) basic learning of automotive engineering at Muhammadiyah Sungai Bahar Vocational High School is currently carried out using lecture, demonstration, and assignment methods; (2) the results of the development of basic automotive engineering learning at Vocational High Schools, namely by utilizing e-modules based on integrated project learning innovation skills; (3) the results of the homogeneity test of significance values in the control and experimental groups are based on an average value of 0.247 which is greater than (>) 0.05. Based on the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the significance value is greater (>) than 0.05. The results of this research can improve the quality of learning in basic automotive engineering subjects using e-module technology based on integrated project learning innovation skills.

Abstract

Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) is a teaching method that has been relatively underexplored in current research. PALS aims to enhance the academic performance of 10th-grade students at TJKT 2 Vocational School, Muhammadiyah 5 Jember, and to determine the impact of utilizing Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) on the mathematical learning outcomes of these students. This method is a form of cooperative learning with peer assistance serving as tutors. This study employs an action research approach to improve the teaching process. The research process involves several steps, including initial idea generation, pre-survey, diagnosis, planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Students are organized into several groups to carry out the Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) learning method. The subjects of this research are 24 students in the 10th-grade Computer Networking and Telecommunications program at SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Jember during the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection is conducted through mathematics test results. The research findings indicate that, prior to the intervention, only 38% of the students passed the assessment, while 62% did not. After implementing the Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) method, the mathematical learning outcomes significantly improved, with 75% of the students passing and 25% remaining below the passing threshold. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) can enhance mathematics learning.
