Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of age, number of family dependents, land area, and number of working hours on the income of corn farmers (case study in Mekarsari Village). The population in this study were corn farmers in Mekarsari Village which amounted to 56 respondents. The method of data collection is a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model. The results of the study show that 91.05% of corn farmers' income is influenced by age, number of family dependents, land area, and number of hours worked. Partially the age has a negative and significant effect while the land area, the number of family dependents, the number of working hours have a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously age, number of family dependents, land area, and number of hours worked significantly influence the income of corn farmers.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze income, child costs, working hours of first marriage age and education level towards family fertility in Tantan Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The data used is the primary data analysis. Method used in this study qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using analytical tools namely multiple linear regression. Based on the simultaneous test, all variables are female income, costs or expenses, working hours, marriage age, level of education together on fertility in Tantan Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. If partially tested the variables that have contributed are the income of women, the age of marriage and recent education have a significant effect on fertility in the village of Tantan Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency, while the cost and work hours variables have no significant effect on fertility in Tantan Village Sekernan District Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of economic growth, education and health on the level of poverty levels in Jambi City. The type of data used in this stufy is secondary data sourced from Jambi, in the form of time series data. The method in this study is a quantitative analysis method. The analytical tool used is multiple linier regression. The results ofthe study with a significant level of 5%, the GDP variable is obtained at a significant level of 0,781 with a significant value greater than 0,05, this means that the average length of school affects the level of poverty and the expectancy variable obtained a significant level of 0,01 with a value significanty smaller than 0,05, which means that life expectancies affect the poverty level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the conditions and developments in the unemployment rate, population growth, poverty rates and the Human Development Index (HDI) towards economic growth in the West Tanjung Jabung Regency. In addition, it also analyzes the influence of the unemployment rate, population growth, poverty level and Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency in 2002-2017. The method of analyzing this research is multiple regression analysis. The results of the research conclude that, economic growth has fluctuated but tends to decline, the unemployment rate fluctuates or fluctuates, population growth decreases, poverty rates tend to decline even though the figure is still high, and the Human Development Index (HDI) continues to increase every year. At the level of recruitment there is no significant influence on economic growth, and population growth also has no significant effect on economic growth. Poverty level and Human Development Index have a significant influence on economic growth in TanjungJabung Barat Regency in 2002-2017.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Identify the conditions of migrants in Jambi City, and 2) Analyze the factors that influence the intention of migrants to stay in Jambi City. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, using primary data obtained by interview. Based on the identification of 98 respondents, they were dominated by migrants with male sex aged 20-29 years, were married and lived in a contract/ rent house. Estimated results of Binary Logistic Regression, simultaneously shows a significant influence between the intention of migrants to stay in Jambi City with the variables in the model. While partially, the intention of migrants to stay in Jambi City is influenced by gender variables, higher education level variables, marital status variables, home ownership status variables and income variables. Age variable, high school / equivalent education level variable and variable workplace distance from the origin region is not significant to the intention of migrants to stay in Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of educated workforce and to determine the effect of variables of age, education, wage level, skills and gender on duration of looking for work by educated worker in Jambi City. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires and direct interviews with a total sample of 110 respondents. Sampling in this study uses a multistage sampling method that is sampling in stages. Data analysis methods used are descriptive and quantitative analysis. The analytical tool used is the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on duration of looking for work. Partially the variables of age, education, wage level have a significant effect on duration of looking for work, while the skills and gender variables have no significant effect on the duration of looking for work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the development of the level of health, the level of education, the level of growth and economic growth in Jambi city and to determine the level of health, the level of education, the level of growth of economic growth in Jambi city. The method that will be used in analyzing data in this study uses descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. The data used in this study are secondary data from the 2004-2018 time series. The tool used to be published uses multiple linear regression. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that the health level variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Jambi city. The education level variable has no influence on economic growth in Jambi city. expenditure level variables that have a negative influence on economic growth in Jambi city.

The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Data processing is performed using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study using statistics, that is to see the comparison of the silmultan test which are all variables of age, education, and gender together against the duration of unemployment in Betung Bedarah Timur Village, Tebo Ilir District, Tebo Regency. Abstract

Research objectives: 1) To determine the characteristics of Javanese ethnic groups in Buluran Kenali Village; 2) To find out and analyze the influence of age, origin, education level and length of stay on the income of Javanese ethnic migrant residents in the Buluran Kenali Village. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from survey results by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis methods, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicates that the average age of migrants is 44 years old, married with a total of 2 people, education that has completed an average of 10 years comes directly from Java, with the reason of moving to Jambi City due to family invitation and knowing the City Jambi from family/friends. From the results of multiple linear regression it is known that age, origin, level of education, length of stay have an effect on and significantly affect the income of ethnic Javanese migrants in Jambi City. Partially, age, education and length of stay influence and significantly affect the income of Javanese ethnic migrants in Jambi City, while the origin does not affect and the income of ethnic Javanese migrants in Jambi City.
