Abstract

This study deals with the effect of economic growth, Human Development Index (HDI) and population density on the poverty levels of districts/cities in Jambi Province in 2013-2017. The type of data used in this study are combined secondary data from time series data and cross section data from 2013-2017. The data used is obtained from the official website of the Central Statistic Agency of Jambi Province. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. The result showed that the variabels of economic growth and population density had a siginificant effect on the poverty level of districts/cities in Jambi Province in 2013-2017. The coefficient of determination is 0.982702, which means that the independent variabels of economic growth, Human Developmet Index (HDI) and population density affect 98.27% of the dependent variabels of poverty in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Simultaneous test results (F test), show taht economic growth, Human Development Index (HDI) and population density simultaneously have a significant effect on the poverty level of districts/cities in Jambi Province. Abstract

Study are as follows: To analyze the effect of economic growth, poverty level, government expenditure and open unemployment on the Human Development Index (HDI) of the Provincial Provinces in Sumatra for the period 2013-2017. Based on the results of the study that economic growth has a significant effect on the human development index. Poverty level has a significant effect on the human development index. Open unemployment has a significant effect on the human development index. Government expenditure has a significant effect on the Human Development Index. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze trends in the HDI, Food Security Index, Government Spending in Education and Health between Provinces on the island of Sumatra. 2) analyze the influence of the Food Security Index, Government Expenditure in Education and Health on the Human Development Index on the island of Sumatra. This study uses secondary data available from the Food Security Agency and the Central Statistics Agency in 2014-2018. The method used is descriptive and quantitative methods using panel data analysis tools. This study found that: 1) the development of HDI in 10 Provinces of Sumatra increased each year but tended to be slow, the development of government spending in education and health in 10 Provinces of Sumatra fluctuated each year but was still in the minimum provisions of the regional budget, and the Index Food Security in 10 Provinces in Sumatra also experienced fluctuating developments. 2) the variable Food Security, Government Spending in the field of Education and Health partially and simultaneously has a significant positive effect on the Food Security Index.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of female workers in pre-prosperous families who received PKH and To find out and analyze the effect of age, education, work experience and working hours of respondents on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The method of analysis used in this research is the method of analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis method using a quantitative approach, and using multiple linear regression formulations. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of working hours, age, and work experience have a significant effect on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients. Meanwhile, the level of education has an insignificant effect on the income of women workers in poor families who are PKH recipients in Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) developments and fluctuations in inflation in Jambi City; 2) commodities which are the trigger factors for inflation in Jambi City. The main and supporting data used are sourced from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia and the Jambi City Bappeda. Data analysis was carried out descriptively analytic. The results of the study found: 1) During 2015 (until September), Jambi City experienced a deflation of -0.08 percent (y-t-d). This shows the success of Jambi City in controlling the inflation rate; 2) foodstuffs group is the biggest contributor to inflation and deflation in Jambi City; 3) the main commodity that triggers inflation in Jambi City is an increase in food ingredients (inflation food) in addition to administered inflation factors (increases in government-regulated price components such as fuel prices, electricity tariffs, transport fares and others). Therefore, price movements are predominantly determined by an increase in demand that usually occurs on religious holidays, and by movements in the supply of these foods.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of human resources, employment opportunities and economic growth on the number of poor people in Sarolangun District. The data used in this study are secondary data, from 2002 to 2012. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province, the Sarolangun Regency Central Bureau of Statistics and the Regional Planning and Development Agency of Sarolangun Regency. The analysis tool used is a multiple linear regression method. The results showed that simultaneously the quality of human resources, employment opportunities, and economic growth had a significant effect on the number of poor people in Sarolangun District. Partially. employment and economic growth have a significant effect while the quality of human resources has no significant effect on the number of poor people

Abstract

In this research, the primary purpose is to know and analyze the impact of gross domestic, regional products in the agriculture sector, local minimum salary, and investing toward employment in the agriculture sector in Batanghari District. This research was carried out in Batanghari District, Jambi Province, using secondary data for 19 years since 2000-2018, Sourced from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The data analysis model is econometric using multiple regression analysis methods using SPSS version 22 as the research data processor. According to the estimation result, it was found partially, PDRB agriculture sector has a positive impact and is significant toward employment in the agriculture sector in Batanghari District. At the same time, local minimum salary variables and investment do not positively impact a career in Batanghari District.  Keywords: Employment, PRDB in the agriculture sector, provincial minimum salary, investment

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of the Farmer's Exchange Rate, Human Development Index, and GRDP of the Agricultural Sector on the inequality of income distribution in the Province of Sumatra Island. The research method used in this research is the descriptive quantitative analysis method. The data used in this study is secondary data with a panel data model using the approach Random Effect Model (REM). This study uses time-series data (time series) from 2015 to 2019. The data analysis tool in this study uses Panel Data Regression. Based on the analysis, it was found that simultaneously (F test) Farmer's Exchange Rate, Human Development Index, and GRDP of the Agricultural Sector had a significant effect on the inequality of income distribution. Then partially (t-test) Farmer's Exchange Rate has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality, the Human Development Index has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality, and GRDP in the agricultural sector has a negative and insignificant effect on income distribution inequality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the quality of human resources in the creative industries of MSMEs in Jambi City; 2) entrepreneurial nature of MSMEs creative industry entrepreneurs in Jambi City. The data used is sourced from a sample survey limited to the MSMEs creative industry in Jambi City. The analysis was carried out in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study found that: 1) The age of entrepreneurs and creative industry workers MSMEs in Jambi City was relatively young and in the productive age group. Creative industry entrepreneurs are more male-dominated but for workers who are relatively balanced between men and women. In terms of formal education it is also relatively good, but in terms of informal education such as participation in training / courses / internships are still relatively low; 2) Overall, the entrepreneurial nature of MSMEs creative industry entrepreneurs in Jambi City is categorized as good. There are five entrepreneurial traits with excellent categories, namely the nature of risk taking, the nature of hard work, innovative nature, prestige and instrumental nature. Two other traits are included in the good category, namely independence and the flexibility of socializing.

Abstract

This research is replicated from Mustikasari research (2007) and has modified by researcher. This research was conducted to investigate corporate tax non compliance behavior, especially the company of manufacturing industry that was registered in Pratama Tax Office in Jambi. The design of this research was the survey research by using the instrument of the questionnaire. Research using 142 samples of corporate tax payers. The data was analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with program AMOS 21.0. The results of hypothesis testing conclude that: (1) attitude toward non compliance behavior on tax professional intention is positive and significant; (2) subjective norm on tax professional intention is positive significant; (3) moral obligation on tax professional intention is positive and significant; (4) perceived behavioral control on tax professional intention is positive and significant; (5) perceived behavioral control on corporate tax non compliance is negative and not significant; (6) tax professional intention on corporate tax non compliance is positive and not significant; (7) perceived of corporate financial condition on corporate tax non compliance is positive and not significant; (8) perceived of corporate facilities on corporate tax non compliance is positive and not significant; (9) perceived of organizational climate on corporate tax non compliance is positive and significant; (10) perceived of Account Representative on corporate tax non compliance is positive and significant.
