Abstract

This study addresses the learning challenges faced by children with dyslexia, particularly in writing, spelling, and reading. The objectives are: (1) to analyze user needs and determine suitable application features to support dyslexic children's learning; (2) to design a mobile application, EduLexya, incorporating gamification and interactive card-based multisensory learning methods; and (3) to evaluate the application’s effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) framework with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, the study involved dyslexic children aged 7–15 years from Somoitan (experimental) and Giriharjo (control) elementary schools. Data collection involved observation, interviews, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assessments. Statistical analysis included validity, normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing via the Independent Samples T-Test. Findings identified essential features—writing, spelling, reading, quizzes, schedules, settings, guides, and feedback. The application was rated highly by material experts (5.00), media experts (4.81), and beta testers (4.81). Posttest results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class (M = 84.37, Sig. 0.000) over the control class (M = 74.33, Sig. 0.043), confirming EduLexya’s effectiveness in improving dyslexic learners’ academic outcomes.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are for: (1) Create an e-learning website for Basic Cooperative Education KOPMA UNY. (2) Testing the quality level of the E-Learning website developed for KOPMA UNY Cooperative Basic Education according to media experts, material experts and users. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). While the development model in this research is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at KOPMA UNY with research subjects as media experts, material experts and new members of KOPMA UNY as E-Learning users. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research are (1) E-Learning Websites that are able to operate properly so that it makes it easier for users to access learning anywhere at any time (2) The level of quality of the e-learning website according to media experts is "very high quality", according to material experts "very high quality" and from the opinion of users it gets an assessment of "very high quality".

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Implement a website-based information system and whatsapp bot to expand existing information with the Wordpress content management system (CMS). (2) Guarantee the ease and function of using the website and whatsapp chatbot by testing the function using the functional suitability test and testing the ease of use using the usability test. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Prototype model software development procedure. The prototype model consists of the communication stage, the quick plan & modeling quick design stage, the construction of prototype stage, and the deployment, delivery, and feedback stage. The results of this study are: (1) The pasungbersatu.com website was developed using a prototype model using the wordpress framework. (2) The results of testing the functional suitability aspect get a value of 100%, which means that all menu functions that are made are running well and are "Very Eligible" to be used. (3) The results of testing the usability aspect, namely the website is accepted by users, Grade Scale is C, Adjective Rating is good, and SUS percentile rank gets grade C, which means the pasungbersatu.com website is easy to use.

Abstract

This research is a digital comic-based learning media development research that discusses bipolar mental disorder. This study aims to produce digital comic-based learning media about bipolar disorder and also to provide adolescents with an understanding of bipolar and how adolescents can deal with bipolar sufferers. This study uses a type of research and development research design. The research procedure used is Borg and Gall's modified procedure which includes the following: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, ( 6) product trials, (7) product revisions. The results of the validation of learning media are: (1) media experts assess learning media as feasible with a value of 3,35. (2) based on the results of interviews, adolescents already understand and feel digital comics can help them to understand topics about mental health more easily.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a web-based learning media using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach. The method employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument in the form of assessments from subject material experts, media experts, and usability testing by the 11th-grade students in the Computer Network and Telecommunication Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu. The research results indicate that the developed web-based learning media is highly suitable as a supportive tool for the learning process, with material expert assessment at 93.3% in the "Very Feasible" category, media expert assessment at 86% in the "Very Feasible" category, and student usability assessment at 85.4% in the "Very Feasible" category. The learning media also succeeded in increasing students enthusiasm for participating in the learning process.

Abstract

The development of a web-based library information system in Kampung Emas Krapyak IX aims to manage data on book collections, members, and book lending and return transactions with an information system that ensures its quality in accordance with ISO/IEC 25010 standards in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, and reliability. The research method used is Research and Development and the development model follows the Waterfall model. Research instruments for assessing functional suitability use a checklist questionnaire. Performance efficiency is tested using GTMetrix. Usability assessment employs the USE Questionnaire by Arnold M. Lund, and reliability testing uses WAPT 10.1. The research results indicate that the developed system has met the requirements as an information system capable of addressing data management challenges. Furthermore, the developed system has also fulfilled the criteria for functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, and reliability.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop a web-based information system and WhatsApp bot to allow residents to handle letter administration outside of Desa Pondokrejo office hours; (2) develop a web-based information system and WhatsApp Bot with a user-friendly and interactive interface that is tested in terms of functional suitability and usability aspects. This research uses the R&D research method. The development procedure in this study uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP) development model. Testing and data collection for this research were conducted in Desa Pondokrejo. The subjects of this study were 12 Desa Pondokrejo officials and 34 residents of Desa Pondokrejo. The data collection technique in this study uses a questionnaire. The research instrument in this study uses the testing aspect of ISO/IEC 25010, which consists of functional suitability and usability. The data analysis technique in this study uses quantitative calculations in the form of percentage calculations. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The web-based letter administration information system and WhatsApp bot named Sipuas have been successfully created and all features run according to their functions; (2) The web-based letter administration information system and WhatsApp bot named Sipuas have been tested using the ISO/IEC 25010 software testing. The test results on the functional suitability aspect obtained a percentage of 100% in expert testing. In terms of usability, Sipuas scored 79% for web admin and 88% for the WhatsApp bot. All these tests indicate that the Sipuas application is good or suitable for use.

Abstract

Ineffective deployment processes can negatively impact application releases to users, while unstable systems can undermine user experience. This research aims to implement Docker and Kubernetes Pipelines through the DevOps MLOps approach to enhance deployment process effectiveness and analyze the performance of Docker and Kubernetes as alternative environments for deploying the AQG web server. The research methodology follows Research and Development with Development and Operations procedures encompassing planning, coding & building, testing, releasing, deploying & operating, and monitoring. The study focuses on deploy time and web server performance using Docker and Kubernetes Pipelines, assessed through load testing analysis. The subject of this research is the performance outcomes of the web server utilizing Docker and Kubernetes Pipelines. The research outcomes include development of a web server for the Automatic Question Generator service using Docker and Kubernetes Pipelines. Load testing evaluations demonstrate that the web server with Docker and Kubernetes Pipelines exhibits greater stability in error rate, throughput, and response time as threads increase from 5,000 to 10,000. Moreover, the total deploy time decreased from 9 minutes 1 second to 3 minutes 40 seconds, indicating a 245% increase in efficiency

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi web kebugaran berbasis Responsive Web Design (RWD) yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi untuk membantu mencapai berat badan ideal. Penelitian ini meliputi pengembangan web dan pengujian kelayakan web untuk menganalisis kualitas situs web menggunakan metode “4 Pillars of Web Testing” yang meliputi tahapan pengujian functionality, performance, compatibility, dan accessibility. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model waterfall yang meliputi tahapan requirements, design, implementation, verification or testing, dan deployment and maintenance. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengujian kelayakan web berupa checklist untuk pengujian aspek functionality, serta instrumen berupa tools yang digunakan untuk pengujian aspek performance, compatibility, dan accessibility. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian web yang telah dikembangkan menunjukkan hasil bahwa: 1) aplikasi web kebugaran berbasis Responsive Web Design (RWD) telah dibangun melalui tahapan pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan spesifikasi; 2) hasil analisis kualitas web telah memenuhi syarat “4 Pillars of Web Testing” dari aspek functionality, performance, compatibility, dan accessibility.

Abstract

Di tengah pentingnya peran website di era saat ini, pembuatan website masih memerlukan waktu, tenaga, dan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Terlebih, pembuatan website juga kurang inklusif bagi mereka yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan dalam pengembangan web. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilaksanakan demi memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut melalui IndoWebGen: Language Model (LM) untuk pembuatan website secara otomatis berdasarkan instruksi Bahasa Indonesia melalui metode LoRA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan CRISP-DM, yang terdiri dari 6 tahap: (1) pemahaman masalah dan tujuan, (2) pengumpulan dan pemahaman data, (3) penyiapan data, (4) pemodelan, (5) penyebarluasan, dan (6) pengujian. IndoWebGen dikembangkan dengan melakukan melakukan proses finetuning melalui metode LoRA pada model basis, Code Llama 7B, dengan menggunakan 500 data sintetis yang di-generate melalui metode self-instruct. IndoWebGen yang telah dikembangkan kemudian diuji kualitasnya melalui human evaluation untuk aspek relevance, usability, dan visual design. Penelitian ini menghasilkan IndoWebGen: LM untuk pembuatan website secara otomatis berdasarkan instruksi Bahasa Indonesia dengan hasil pengujian untuk aspek relevance, usability, dan visual design sebesar 5,933; 5,889; dan 6,089, yang berarti semuanya berkualitas “Baik”. Dengan demikian, IndoWebGen dapat memberikan solusi pembuatan website yang lebih inklusif dan efisien dari segi waktu, tenaga, serta biaya, terutama bagi masyarakat Indonesia.
