Abstract

Banyuwangi is an area which newly growth as tourism destination. As the area called The Sunrise of Java, Banyuwangi started to focus its attention to tourism industry. Tourism in Banyuwangi begun with validity of regional autonomy, this was the main step of growing and handling many assets or the potential of Banyuwangi to concerns regional economic development. The government of Banyuwangi already makes plan to build Banyuwangi from many sector, and one of the sector is tourism’s sector.

Abstract

This thesis discussed about Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) of Qadian in Bali, a group of religious tenet which obey the doctrines and guidances of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. This Jamaat was established on March 23, 1889 in India. Ahmadiyah had entered Indonesia since 1925 in Tapak Tuan western coast of Aceh. Ahmadiyya is divided into two, Ahmadiyya Qadian and Lahore. Both of these groups have their own organizations in Indonesia. The Lahore Ahmadiyya group calls itself Indonesian Ahmadiyah Movement, where as Ahmadiyya Qadian namely Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia. Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia successfully develop and establish their center in Bogor, mean while the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Movement centered in Yogyakarta and their development is so rapid because the organization is not tight. Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) of Qadian in Bali first entered to Bali (at that time Bali was the part of Nusa Tenggara province) carried by Min. Idris in Singaraja in 1953. Ahmadiyya Community Center in Bali consists of three subdivisions, they are Denpasar, Singaraja and Penyabangan subdivisions. The study of Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) of Qadian in Bali seeks to examine the focus of several problems (1) How the development of Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) of Qadian in Bali from 1953-2013. (2) Why is the tenet doctrines in Jamaah Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) of Qadian in Bali is different from other Islamic sects, in terms of prophecy, apocalypse, Al-Masih and Al-Mahdi, and the Tadzkirah scripture (3) How does the relationship between Indonesian Ahmadiyya Qadian in Bali with non-Ahmadiyah from 1953 to 2013.

Abstract

On Saturday 12 October 2002, at Banjar Lagian Kelod, Kuta, the Bali Bombing explosion occurred. This is an early event that becomes a long struggle between crisis and harmony. The crisis that occurred as a threat to economy and social harmony that has been built in the Balinese society. Series of bombing incidents is not only of course, but also the cracking of Muslim relations with Hindus in Bali. The several concepts used in this study are collective behavior, norms and corporate actors. The methodology used is the oral history method. Research methods and sources include heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results reveal there are some disquiets experienced by Muslim community post bomb, including on the social, security, and economic aspects. Similarly, there are some recovery activities conducted by the Ulama in Bali post Bali Bombing, among others by conducting musyawarah, socialization, pengajian, and other social activities, in this case done to restore confidence and re-recognize the existence of Islamic society post Bali Bombing. Collective behavior, corporate norms and actors are the reasons behind the Balinese attitude towards the Islamic community in the face of Bali Bombing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal several problems related to the application of modern management in the management of Savings and Loans Cooperatives (KSP), especially in the KSP Puskopdit Bali Artha Guna (BAG). Puskopdit Bali Artha Guna is a secondary KSP which until the end of 2018 has 20 primary cooperative members with 58,520 individual members spread across Bali. Cooperatives as a form of business entity engaged in the economy have a management structure that is somewhat different from other business entities. To achieve the goals of cooperatives, it is necessary to apply a good management system, namely implementing management functions. Some of the problems described in the discussion include 1) in what ways the development of modern management has been carried out at KSP Puskopdit Bali Artha Guna; 2) how is the implementation of modern management practices in cooperatives in facing today's business competition; 3) what benefits can be generated for the community, especially cooperative members in Bali. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the method of collecting data through literature studies and in-depth interviews. In general, members of the Puskopdit Bali Artha Guna cooperative have digitized and implemented modern management in their operational systems to remain competitive in the millennial era who are familiar with technology, so that they are able to compete with other financial institutions.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Survival of Sanglah Traditional Market in the Middle of the Effect of Modern Markets in Denpasar in 2000-2018. Sanglah Market is surrounded by many modern markets. Economic developments that occur at this time lead to competition between the Sanglah market and the modern market in Denpasar. The research method used is the historical research method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that the Sanglah market is one of the engines of economic growth for the City of Denpasar. The rise of the development of modern markets in the city of Denpasar requires traders in the Sanglah market to innovate more in maintaining their existence. The many modern markets in Denpasar City have their own impact on traders in the Sanglah market both economically and socially, such as the decline in the income of traders, besides that the modern market also impacts on people's lifestyles.

Abstract

The role of women cannot be denied having a big role in maintaining family integrity in the era of technological disruption. The era where internet technology is growing very rapidly through social media and entertainment. Women who have often played the number two role, can now play a dual role when dealing with the era of disruption coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic that hit almost all over the world, including Bali in particular. This study of the role of women is interesting because not many have raised it if it is based on the teachings of the Catholic religion which has recognized the position of women in the eyes of the Catholic Church since the Second Vatican Council in 1960. The issues raised in this paper include the role of mothers and Catholic families in the era of technological disruption and the role of the Catholic Church in dealing with the concerns of its people in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bali. The theory used is a sociological approach about dual roles. The research method used is a qualitative research method using library sources and in-depth interviews with informants using snowball sampling technique.

Abstract

The role of cooperatives in people's lives in Indonesia, especially in Bali, is very influential in maintaining the economy, especially during a pandemic in Bali. One of the unique cooperatives in Bali is the Bali Family Friendly Women's Cooperative, hereinafter referred to as KPRK Bali in building optimism and adapting to new habits in building markets due to the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Bali. Facing the new era, it is imperative that cooperatives and MSME actors carry out transformation, in addition to facilitating the use of technology in the information sector, as well as protecting business actors and consumers from the impact of Covid-19. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the role of the Bali KPRK Cooperative in promoting local wisdom with the tag line Pang Pada Payu Bali. KPRK Bali considers it important to encourage environmentally friendly economic activities with the principles of a sustainable economy. The issues raised included: What is the role of KPRK Bali in driving the Bali economy? How is the implementation of KPRK Bali management? and What are the benefits obtained by KPRK members and the people of Bali?
