Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning learning models on student learning independence in grade IV elementary school science subjects. Learning independence is defined as a student's ability to manage, direct and control the learning process independently, including initiative, sense of responsibility, self-confidence, discipline, self-management, self-direction, self-control. The research method used was an experiment with a nonequivalent control group design, involving two groups, one using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model while one group using Discovery Learning (DL). Data was collected through observation and learning independence questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by testing differences in learning independence after taking action with the PBL and DL learning models. The research results show that there are differences in learning independence between the two models.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of SMORDS media in improving elementary school student learning outcomes using the ONCE learning model. By using a type of classroom action research (PTK) and the methods used in collecting data are observation and interviews. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Salatiga 06 with a sample of two classes, namely classes VI A and VI B. The results of this research can be seen that after providing material treatment using Smart Words (SMORDS) media in Indonesian language learning, students were able to develop critical thinking skills, creativity and improve their learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of evaluation tests carried out which resulted in students getting a score of 81-100 and a percentage of 60%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21. Keterampilan ini perlu dilatihkan sejak dini termasuk kepada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media kartu bergambar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 orang siswa sekolah dasar kelas V SD negeri Karangtengah 01. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Soal tes uraian digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media kartu bergambar secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Sebelum tindakan siswa yang masuk dalam sangat kritis dan kritis yaitu berjumlah 5 siswa atau 20%. Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa yang memiliki kategori sangat kritis dan kritis menjadi 14 siswa dengan persentase 56%. Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa dengan kriteria sangat kritis dan kritis menjadi 23 dengan persentase 92%. Model Problem Based Learning dan media kartu bergambar memotivasi siswa untuk belajar dan berpikir kritis serta membantu mereka memahami konsep melalui visualisasi yang menarik.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary school requires innovative learning media that can improve concept understanding in an interactive and interesting way. This research aims to: (1) produce Solar System Augmented Reality (ARTAS) learning media that can improve science learning outcomes of grade VI elementary school students, (2) determine the feasibility of ARTAS media in supporting learning, and (3) find out the effectiveness of these media in improving science learning outcomes. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. ARTAS media was developed using the marker-based Assemblr EDU platform accessed via QR code, which displays solar system objects in the form of digital interactive 3D models into the real world. The validation results showed that this media is very feasible to use, with a feasibility value of 94% by material experts and 94,11% by media experts. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the use of ARTAS media was able to improve the science learning outcomes of grade VI elementary school students with a percentage of 79,1% which was included in the effective category. This study concludes that ARTAS media is a technology-based learning media that is feasible and effective in science learning to support the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan komunikasi peserta didik di kelas V B SDN Kutowinangun 01. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK).Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V B SD Negeri Kutowinangun 01 Salatiga yang berjumlah 23 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan melalui deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana untuk menggambarkan proses pembelajaran dari hasil observasi dan angket keterampilan kolaborasi dan komunikasi pada setiap siklus. Guru melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournamen (TGT) dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada topik Indonesiaku Kaya Raya. Menunjukkan peningkatan yang nyata dari para siklus ke sikus 2. Rata-rata keterampilan kolaborasi adalah 83,04% dan komunikasi 82, 06% sudah melampaui keberhasilan dari penelitian ini yaitu 80%. Hal ini diperkuat dengandata angket keterampilan kolaborasi 81% dan angket keterampilan komunikasi 80,70%. Model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournamen berbasis budaya dan berdiferensiasi dengan mengintegrasikan materi dengan pengalaman budaya permainan tradisional.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the collaboration skills of third-grade students at SD N Ledok 01 Salatiga by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model. The type of this research is a collaborative classroom action research (PTKK). The subject of this research were 26 third-grade students. This study uses a spiral spin model design developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation and observation stage, also the reflection stage. This research is successful if it achieves success indicators<80%. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model can increase collaboration skills occurring in each cycle which has been shown that students can interact with group mates while doing assignments, which is shown in the pre-cycle of 0%, cycle I of 54%, and cycle II by 81%. Mutual assistance has increased as shown in the pre-cycle of 0%, cycle I of 62%, and cycle II of 85%. Student’s ability to be responsible increased as shown in the pre-cycle of 0%, cycle I of 58%, and cycle II of 85%.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang luar biasa dalam kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam Pendidikan. Proses belajar yang harusnya bisa dilakukan di sekolah harus berpindah ke rumah dengan cara daring dengan dampingan orang tua. Perubahan cara belajar yang sangat tiba-tiba ini, membuat guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyiapkan maupun melaksanakan pembelajaran. Hasil survie awal yang dilakukan kepada 519 responden dari unsur Kepala Sekolah, guru, dan siswa didapatkan bahwa 45,7% setuju dengan PTM Terbatas dan 54,3% berharap dengan PTM Terbatas dengan tambahan fasilitas lain yang dilakukan daring. Hasil survie ini menunjukkan bahwa PTM Terbatas yang saat sudah dilaksanakan belum memberikan fasilitas belajar yang cukup bagi siswa. Beberapa masalah yang muncul antara lain 1) Guru dan sekolah kesulitan menyiapkan pembelajaran untuk mengatasi defisit waktu; 2) Belum tersedia  fasilitas dan sumber belajar sebagai sumplemen belajar; 3) Belum ada fasilitas belajar dengan pola Blended learning berbasis tema untuk mengatasi kekurangan defisit waktu dan sumber belajar selama PTM Terbatas. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah penyediaan fasilitas dan sumber belajar Blended learning berbasis tema sebagai suplemen pendukung pelaksanaan PTM Terbatas dalam bentuk Ruang Belajar 3CM (Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningful), dan pelatihan penggunaan, dan pengembangan aktivitas dan sumber belajar blended learning berbasis tema, serta pendampingan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM: 1) FGD, Pengenalan Teknis Pelaksanaan Pengabdian dengan Mitra dan analisis Kebutuhan, 2) Pengenalan aplikasi Ruang Kreatif Guru dan Siswa serta Ruang Konsultasi Berbasis Web dan 3CM Learning kepada Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Orang Tua, dan siswa, 3), Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Ruang Belajar 3CM serta Ruang Konsultasi Berbasis Web dan 3CM Learning kepada Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Orang Tua, dan siswa untuk mengembangkan aktivitas belajar dan sumber belajar selama PTM Terbatas, 4) Pelatihan pengembangan aktivitas belajar dan sumber belajar selama PTM Terbatas, 5) Implementasi dan observasi aktivitas belajar dan sumber belajar Ruang Belajar 3CM, dan 6) Evaluasi dan tindak lanjut

Abstract

This study aims to examine the context, input, process, and product of the implementation of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) program at SD Negeri Karangduren 02. Conducted comprehensively using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam, this research is an evaluative study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document studies, and a Likert scale questionnaire as supporting evidence. The research subjects were the principal, 2 teachers (from upper and lower grades), and 4 students (2 from upper and 2 lower grades), selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that: (1) The context aspect was in the "Very Good" category (100%). The P5 program has a strong policy foundation, aligns with the school's vision and mission, and the "Sustainable Lifestyle" theme is relevant to students' needs. (2) The input aspect was in the "Very Good" category (89.7%). Teacher readiness and learning modules were excellent, although there were some limitations in supporting facilities and infrastructure. (3) The process aspect was in the "Very Good" category (94.4%). The implementation of P5 was effective and collaborative, supported by the teachers' role as facilitators and the principal's regular monitoring. (4) The product aspect was in the "Very Good" category (88.8%). The P5 program successfully fostered the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile in students, as shown by positive behavioral changes such as independence, cooperation, and responsibility, as well as evidence of student work. Overall, the implementation of P5 at SD Negeri Karangduren 02 has been highly effective in shaping student character. The recommendation proposed is to improve facilities and infrastructure to further optimize students' learning experiences.

Abstract

This study was motivated by students' low understanding of IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) material and difficulties during group discussions. Most students only enjoyed the practical activities and felt burdened by the notes that had to be memorised. Based on interviews with 50 students, it was found that confusion and the burden of memorisation were the main obstacles. To overcome this, the researcher developed the ‘LOSSING SADDLER’ (Local wisdom gaming for understanding and interesting learning combine with guessing word) method to improve the understanding of magnetic concepts and interest in learning IPAS in Phase C students. The research subjects included Grade V students of SD Kristen Lentera Ambarawa as the experimental class and students from six learning community primary schools in Semarang Regency as the comparison. Data were collected through unstructured interviews, documentation, tests and observations, and analysed descriptively quantitatively. This study aims to determine the effect of the ‘LOSSING SADDLER’ method on the understanding of magnetic material and the increase in student learning motivation. The expected results show that this method is able to increase students' understanding and interest in IPAS learning through a fun and meaningful approach.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting untuk membekali peserta didik agar mampu bersaing dan beradaptasi di era globalisasi untuk pengambilan keputusan dan pemecahan masalah secara bijaksana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbasis budaya dan diferensiasi berbantuan LKPD Interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VA SDN Kutowinangun 01 Salatiga yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan tes berbantuan LKPD interaktif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pra siklus sebesar 49,17 dengan kategori kurang, pada siklus 1 sebesar 60,33% dengan kategori cukup dan meningkat pada siklus 2 yaitu sebesar 75,83% dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Masalah Berbasis Budaya dan Diferensiasi berbantuan LKPD Interaktif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VA SDN Kutowinangun 01 Salatiga.
