Abstract: This research aims to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based automatic feedback with Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology and OpenAI GPT in online learning. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Integrative Learning Design Framework (ILDF) development model as a reference for designing, producing, and testing product effectiveness. The developed product plays a role in automatically analysing student responses, providing quick and relevant feedback, and offering real-time improvement suggestions, including key features such as sentiment score, entity detection, syntax & grammar, correction, improvement suggestions, and relevance score. The product development included system design to initial testing but did not involve expert evaluation or large-scale trials. The research focuses on ensuring that the product can function according to the technical design and fulfil the initial user needs. The results of the development phase are expected to form the basis for further research and open up new opportunities for innovation in educational technology in the future.

Abstract

This study analyzes the need for training design for accounting vocational teachers using Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach to achieve deep learning through systematic literature review. The gap in teachers' competence in implementing PjBL and the limitations of relevant training designs are major problems in vocational education. This research aims to identify trends, gaps, and needs for developing PjBL-based accounting teacher training designs oriented towards achieving deep learning. The systematic literature review method was employed by analyzing 25 articles from Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases from 2018-2025. The research identified 25 unique articles categorized into three main themes: Deep Learning perspectives (10 articles), Vocational Teacher Training and Development (6 articles), and Project-Based Learning implementation (9 articles). The results show four main trends: (1) increased global adoption of PjBL as an innovative learning method, (2) demands from accounting professional organizations for active learning methods, (3) popularity of deep learning concepts in contemporary educational literature integrated with 21st-century skills, and (4) urgent need for comprehensive teacher training designs. Significant gaps were identified in the limitations of relevant training designs for vocational contexts and lack of systematic training development research. This study concludes that accounting vocational teacher training designs with PjBL approach are urgently needed to bridge the gap between theoretical competence and practical industry applications, with emphasis on achieving holistic deep learning encompassing cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal domains.

Abstract

Mathematics education continues to face representational challenges because abstract concepts are often disconnected from students lived and cultural experiences. Although ethnomathematics offers a way to contextualize learning, limited research has examined how visual and interface design may support the links between cultural contexts and formal mathematical understanding. This study presents a systematic literature review of 17 empirical studies from Scopus published between 2020 and 2025, following the PRISMA guidelines. The analysis identified recurring visual and interface design elements used to represent mathematical concepts in culturally meaningful and interactive ways. These elements are associated with three mediational processes: concretization, embodied engagement, and structured cognitive scaffolding, which may support learners in moving from cultural experiences to formal mathematical understanding. The novelty of this review lies in proposing these three constructs as analytical interpretations developed through cross-study thematic synthesis, rather than as mechanisms directly identified or tested within the primary studies. This review offers a design-oriented perspective on ethnomathematics learning and proposes an analytical framework to guide future research and practice, while highlighting the need for further empirical validation across diverse contexts.
