Abstract

Abstract : This research is the action research that aims to improve the students learning outcomes of the fifth grade of SDN 15 Pinggir. This research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014. The subjects were the fifth grade class of SDN 15 Pinggir. The total students is 35 people. This study was conducted in two cycles, by prepare three instrument, there are silabus, RPP, and LKS. Collecting activity data by using observation sheet and daily test. Analysis of the data used is describes the activities of teacher and students, analysis of learning outcomes and succesful measurements. From analysis research, increasing the number of students who achieve at UH KKM in every end of each cycle compared to the number of the students who achieve a schore of KKM on basic score. The result of this study explanations that through the application of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve the students learning outcomes of the fifth grade of SDN 15 Pinggir.Keywords: Classroom Action Research (CAR). Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIII.2 SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru odd semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Form of research conducted is action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects consisted of 16 male students and 12 female students with heterogeneous ability. Instrument of data collection in this research is observation sheet and test of mathematics learning result. The observation sheets were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while the mathematics learning outcomes were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. From the qualitative analysis it can be seen that there is improvement of learning process from before action to cycle I and cycle II. Students are seen actively participating and becoming more independent in the learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached the KKM increased from the basic score of 3 students (10.7%) to UH I amounted to 12 people (45%) and UH 2 amounted to 18 people (64.2%). For skill assessment increased from UH I (42,5%) to UH II (64,2%) .The result of this research shows that applying cooperative learning model Structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach can improve learning process and can remind learning result mathematics students of class VIII.2 SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru academic year 2017/2018 on the subject matter of Two-Variable Linear Equation System. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to develop a valid computer based learning media to help students to understand the topic of area and volume of revolution. This research uses development model by Sugiyono, the following stages are: (1) potential and problem; (2) collect information; (3) product design; (4) design validation; (5) design revision; (6) product testing; (7) product revision; (8) usage testing; and (9) product revision. At the stage of potential and problem, the researcher created a needs analysis of observation and interviews with Mathematics teacher. Then, researcher collected the informations by conducting literature studies. Product design is through two stages, that are making paper based design and then computer based that used microsoft power point program. The learning media is validated by three validators used validation sheet and obtained an average score of 3,76 (very valid). Then revised based on the input from validators. The revised learning media was tested by questionnaire technique using student response questionnaire. The testing was conducted through two stages towards the students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA N Binaan Khusus Dumai. The first stage is a product testing of 6 students. Further revision of the product according to the student's suggestion on product testing. The second stage is the usage testing of 25 students and obtained an average score of 3.58 (very practice). Then revised the product according to the student's suggestion on usage testing. Thus, can be concluded that computer based learning media is valid and qualified practicalities.Key Words: Computer Based Learning Media, Development, Area and Volume of Revolution

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and to increase mathematics outcomes from the students of class X MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru with applied Discovery Learning model. This research is a class action research with two cycle. The subject of this research is the students of class X MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in academic year 2018/2019, which total of participants are 30 students, consists of 15 male students and 15 female students with heterogeneous ability. The instruments used in this research were mathematical learning instruments and the instruments of collecting data. The mathematical learning instruments used include syllabus, lesson plan, and student work sheet, and the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets used to get the teacher and student activity data and learning outcome test used to get mathematics outcome data after learning process. The data analysis techniques used narrative analysis and descriptive statistic analysis. From the analysis of observation sheets, it can be seen that there is improvement of learning process after the discovery learning model being implemented. The data of the student’s evaluation test showed that the students reaches Minimun Mastery Criteria (MMC) of knowledge competency from the basic score to the first test, from the first test to the second test increase from 12 students (40%) become 20 students (66,67%) and increase become 80%. Persentage of students reaches Minimun Mastery Criteria (MMC) of skills competency increase from first test to the second test where the first test 15 students (50%) to the second test 21 students (70%). Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that implementation of discovery learning model can improve learning process and increase student’s mathematics outcome at class X MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in academic year 2018/2019.Key Words: Mathematics Outcomes, Discovery Learning Model, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of research is to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applying the learning model of Problem Based Learning. This research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is student of class VIIJ SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in academic years 2018/2019. Subject which amounted to 32 students, consist of 16 boys and 16 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle have four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. The instruments of data collection and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets is analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students mathematic tests is analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive show an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students are very confidence and active in learning process, such as while they are finishing mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria of knowledge increase from basic score to first test and second test. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (28,13%) to the first test (59,37%) to the second test (71,89%). For the skills of the first test (65,62%) to the second test (87,50%). From these data it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning can increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIIJ SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject Aritmatika Soaial.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning,Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying problem based learning. The research is classroom action research that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 20 students in the class, consist of 9 boys and 11 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments consisting of observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Data collection is done through observation and test of mathematics learning result. Based on the observation sheet of teacher and student activity showing the activity of teachers and students has been done well, seen some of the students began to participate actively and more responsible in learning process. Based on data analysis of mathematics learning outcomes, the percentage of students reaching KKM in knowledge competence increased from 35% in basic score to 55% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II. On attitude competence shows improvement, seen from percentage of student number reaching minimum completeness criteria at 35% at base score to 60% at cycle I and 90% in cycle II. The percentage of students reaching minimum completeness criteria in skill competence increased from 50% in base score to 80% in cycle I and 100% in cycle II. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of learning models based on problems can improve the learning process and improve student learning outcomes of grade XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the even semester of the school year 2015/2016.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcome, Problem Based Learning, Class action research.

Abstract

The subject of this research were 37 students of class VII1 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, consist of 17 boys and 20 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (29,73%) to the first test (51,35%) to the second test II (72,97%). For the skills of basic score the first test (35,14%) to the second test (54,05%), Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning model of Problem Based Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VII1 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018 for the subject matter the set.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to develop computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function. Development model using 4D model by Thiagarajan,et al there are (1) Define; (2) Design; (3) Develop; and (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. On define stage, researcher make need analysis, on design stage make the paper based design, and on develop stage, media made by using Microsoft Office Power Point, then validated by four validators and revised based on validator's suggestion. Media was tested at two steps in class XI SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, there are small group test with six students and large group test with class XI MIA 10. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the result validation of media is 3,65 means very valid with the details are 3,56 for material aspect, 3,83 for learning aspect, 3,68 for program aspect, and 3,62 for display aspect, whereas for worksheet is 3,66 means very valid. Based on students questionnaire obtained the percentage of practicallity is 95,83% means very practice in small group test with the details 100% for material aspect, 97,2% for learning aspect, 91,67% for program aspect, and 91,67% language aspect. On the large group test obtained 94,25% means very practice with details are 92% for material aspect, 95,3% for learning aspect, 92% for program aspect, and 100% for language aspect. It can be concluded that computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function are very valid and very practice for every aspects.Key Words: Computer-Based Learning, Research and Development, Derivative of Algebra Function.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve student learning outcomes in teaching and learning in SMPI Al-Hasanah Pandau Jaya to implement cooperative learning model numbered heads together in math. This study uses classroom research. This is done in two cycles. Activities and student learning outcomes data were obtained by collecting activity data using observation sheets and daily test. Data collected were analyzed statistically werescore descriptive. The results in cycle I. found that the percentage of students who achieve the KKM is 63.15% and the award is based on the first cycle of the four teams are given 3 great team and one team is given a super, while in the second cycle of the 4 teams are given a great team. The conclusian research shows that the application of cooperative learning model to jointly head numbered approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes..Key words: numbered heads together, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning process and increase the mathematics learning outcomes by applying the Learning Cycle 5E model. The subject of this research is students of class VIIC Ruqayyah SMP IT Abdurrab Pekanbaru on the second semester in the 2017/2018 academic years as many as 20 students, which all of whome are girls with heterogeneous levels of academic ability. The research consist of two cycles and each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used are learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Student Worksheet) and instruments for collecting data (Observation Sheets and Mathematical Learning Outcomes Tests). The observation sheets were used to find out the data of students and teacher activity during learning process which would analyzed qualitatively. Mathematics learning outcomes test were used to collect the student’s mathematical learning outcomes which would analyzed quantitatively. The analysis result of observation sheets indicated the learning process in cycle I were better than learning process in before action and learning process in cycle II were better than learning process in cycle I. The analysis result of the student’s mathematics learning outcomes scores indicated the percentage of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) in base score is 40% increased to 70% in cycle I and 80% in cycle II. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model can improve the learning process and the mathematical learning outcomes of students class VIIC Ruqayyah SMP IT Abdurrab Pekanbaru on the second semester in the 2017/2018.Key Words: Learning Cycle 5E Model, Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Classroom ActionResearch
