Background: Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is an indicator of health and quality of human resources. One of the causes of MMR is preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is an increase in blood pressure during pregnancy, which it cannot yet be determined. Purpose: Aims of this study are to analyze the characteristics of pregnant women with preeclampsia in seven hospitals in the agriculture area. Methods: Respondents obtained were 441 pregnant women with preeclampsia and analyzed by frequency distribution. Results: The results of the study show that the distribution of patient preeclampsia was most often found at RSU Dr. Abdoer Rahem that is a number of 125 patients (28.3%). The most characteristic mothers with preeclampsia on reproductive age (75.5%), primipara (54.6%), no have a history of the contagious disease (95.9%), no have a history of preeclampsia (83.2%). The most prevalent preeclampsia have a history of preeclampsia. Conclusion: Nurses conduct studies on pregnant women to prevent preeclampsia through a characteristic analysis of pregnant women with preeclampsia.

Tujuan: Orang tua dari anak dengan retardasi mental sering mengalami tingkat stres yang lebih tinggi karena meningkatnya tuntutan pengasuhan anak. Anak retardasi mental mengalami kesulitan untuk melakukan hal-hal sederhana seperti makan, berpakaian, toilet dan membersihkan diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan spiritualitas dengan stres pengasuhan ibu yang memiliki anak retardasi mental di SDLB BCD YPAC Kaliwates Jember. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross0sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu total sampling dengan 34 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES) dan Parenting stress. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Kolmogorov Spirnov dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil: Ada hubungan antara spiritualitas dengan stres pengasuhan (p value = 0,009). Spiritualitas yang tinggi dapat memengaruhi cara orang tua dalam menerima kondisi anak, mengatasi stres dalam pengasuhan dan adaptasi keluarga mengenai kondisi anak yang mengalami disabilitas. Kesimpulan: pentingnya spiritualitas pada orang tua dari anak-anak dengan retardasi mental untuk mengurangi tingkat stres dalam tuntutan pengasuhan anak.

Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah accupressure dapat mengurangi tingkat nyeri persalinan pada ibu bersalin kala 1 di Rumah Sakit Jember Klinik Kabupaten Jember.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen rancangan one grup pretest posttest dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Sample 34 ibu hamil dengan nyeri persalinan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah acidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxson Test.Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini ialah responden berusia rata-rata ibu adalah 19-30 tahun. Paritas terbanyak ialah multigravida. Sebagian besar pendidikan responden ialah tinggi (SMA-PT). Pekerjaan ibu rata-rata ialah ibu rumah tangga. Rata-rata skala nyeri persalinan sebelum terapi adalah 6 dan sesudah terapi adalah 5.Simpulan: Tingkat kepercayaan yang digunakan ialah 95% dengan p value (0,0001) < α (0,05) dengan hasil terdapat perbedaan nyeri persalinan sebelum dan sesudah terapi accupressure di rumah sakit.

Exclusive breastfeeding is an effective way to prevent child mortality. One of the factors that become an obstacle in exclusive breastfeeding is the status of the mother who works, which affects the mother to give exclusive breastfeeding, especially if the mother doesn’t know about exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to find out how the description of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of exclusive breastfeeding on working mothers in the Arjasa Community Health Center Working Area in JemberRegency. This type of research is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach and use a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was finished using a questionnaire. Univariate analysis was used to determine the frequency and percentage of each subvariable. The results showed that 3% of working mothers have less knowledge, 3% have enough knowledge, and 61% have good knowledge. 16% of working mothers have enough attitude, 51% have a good attitude. Working mothers who gave exclusive breastfeeding as much as 40% and did not give exclusive breastfeeding as much as 27% of the total of respondents. Knowledge and attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding cansupport mothers to give exclusive breastfeeding. Knowledge and attitude are not the only factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding, in this region the status of the work plays a greater role. Works can not be used as an excuse for the mother not to give exclusive breastfeeding. The rights and welfare of the mother have been guaranteed and protected by the Health Law and Labor Law

Preeclampsia pregnant mothers are high risk population due to risk of physical andpsychological disorders. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between theemotionally family support and at the mother and child hospital of the IBI regency ofJember. The study used correlational with cross-sectional study design. The sample sizewas 57pregnant women with preeclampsia using purposive sampling. Data were obtainedby using family emotional support (validity value 0.467 and reliability value 0.9965) andHamilton Anxiety Rating Scale questionnaire (validity value 0.93 and reliability value0.97). Data analysis used the Spearman test. The results of this study showed that the29 respondents have high family`s emotionally support and 40 respondents have mildanxiety. The results show that there is a relationship between the emotional support ofthe family with anxiety mother (p-value = 0.041) and strength (r= -0.0272). The studyshowed that the higher the family`semotional support, the lower the mother`s anxietylevel. Family`s emotional supportfacilitating mother to more comfort and keep positivebehaviour.

Introduction: Verbal abuse was a form of abuse by saying words or sentences that are negative such as insult, humiliate, refuse, yell, or berate has an impact on the development of adolescent self-esteem. Self-esteem was a self-assessment that is influenced by attitude, interaction, award, and form of acceptance of others towards an individual. This study aim was to determine the relationship between parental verbal abuse and self-esteem in adolescents. Method: The research design used quantitative methods with a correlation design and a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used simple random sampling to obtain a sample of 152 students from the calculation of the Slovin formula.Data collection used a questionnaire and the statistical test used Chi-square. Result: The result showed that verbal abuse committed by parents was 93%, self-esteem in adolescents obtained high self-esteem results of as much as 89%, and there was no relationship between the variables of parental verbal abuse and self-esteem in adolescents with a p-value of 0,0246. Conclusion: The absence of a relationship between the variable verbal abuse and the variable self-esteem occurs because adolescents in developmental tasks seek identity and improve self-integrity. So that adolescents will spend more time with friends and their relationship with their parents will be stretched.

Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are still a major health problem in Indonesia and even in the world. It causes of mortality and morbidity of many people in developing countries. AR has the potential to provide contextual education in media and can help explore interconnections in information in cyberspace, people, especially children and parents can use AR to build new understandings based on their interactions with virtual objects. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental design. The type of research design that is expected to prove the effect of P-AR on ARI with the design of educational media. The method involves a group of mothers who have children with ARI taken by consecutive sampling in the community when the posyandu is run. The total participants in this study were 107 participants, with an age range of 21 - 40 years. there was a decrease in maternal stress levels as much as stress (SD± 19.25 - 9.644) and improvement in maternal resilience after the application of PAR with (SD± 5.35 - 8.38). Based on the results of research, shown that mothers who have children with respiratory infections to receive health care in hospitals can make mothers experience depression and anxiety. In addition, children also feel anxious about the presence of disease. So we need a coping strategy and information that can help in problem solving. AR can be used to improve emotional health in children.

Protein is one of the macronutrients needed in child growth, which can be obtained from animal and plant foodstuffs. Protein intake gets more attention because energy-protein malnutrition is more common in children under five. Protein nutrition for children must be fulfilled to prevent growth retardation in the next phase. This research aims to establish a profile of preschool children's animal and vegetable protein intake. This type of research is descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted at Bina Anasprasa Nuris Jember Kindergarden in March 2023. The sample in this study was preschool children aged 3-5 years, totaling 53 people who were taken by purposive sampling. Food consumption data for children was obtained using the 1x24-hour food recall method. Processing and analysis of data using univariate analysis. Preschool girls have more than boys (67.9% and 32.1%). The majority of mothers are not working/housewives (62.3%), while the majority of fathers are self-employed (45.3%). Most families have income above the 2023 Jember UMK (62.3%). Nutritional status with indicators of weight/age, height/age, weight/height of all preschool children has normal, normal, and good nutritional status (100%). Total protein intake increased slightly for boys and families whose income was above the minimum wage. Meanwhile, the intake of vegetable and animal protein sources in preschool children is similar but slightly higher in vegetable protein. Animal protein food ingredients still have high biological value because they contain all essential amino acids compared to vegetable protein. Therefore, preschoolers need to increase their consumption of animal protein food ingredients in their daily diet.

The next stage of growth will be determined by children's optimal development from an early age. The preschool years are critical for the development of a wide range of abilities. Preschoolers are generally youngsters that develop swiftly and have a wide range of talents. This potential will be realized so that youngsters can reach their full potential. This potential will be realized so that youngsters can reach their full potential. As a result, proper conditions or instruction are required for a child's growth. Various developmental difficulties in children, such as motor delays, language, behavior, autism, and hyperactivity, have been on the rise in recent years. As a result, for children's growth and development, adequate conditions or education are required. The goal of this study was to see how colouring affects children's fine motor development when they are in preschool. The total number of students in this study was 32. In this study, the researchers employed a Quasi Experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The entire sampling strategy was employed in this investigation. There were as many as 32 responders in the sample. The Wilcoxon test yielded p-values of 0.001 and 0.083 in the data analysis. The findings of data analysis utilizing the Mann-Whitney test, namely a p-value of 0.000 < (0.05), indicate that Ho is not significant. This shows that colouring stimulation influences the fine motor development of preschool children in this study.
