Abstract

Background: Hypovolemic shock can be catastrophic rapidly unless recognized and treated promptly. Although gastrointestinal loses might be the cause of hypovolemic shock in the elderly, it rarely causes a change in the blood gas analysis results.Purpose: This study aimed to report a case of a 75-year-old male with signs of hypovolemic shock caused by gastrointestinal loses and discuss the effect of passive leg raising procedure as an early nursing intervention in patients presenting with shock.Methods: The method used in this paper is a case study. The subject in this study is a 75-year-old male presenting to our Emergency Room with signs of shock which was caused by gastrointestinal problems. Passive leg raising or also known as modified Trendelenburg Position was performed as the patient presenting with low blood pressure. The results of physical dan laboratory investigation, as well as the nursing and medical therapies were presented, analyzed and discussed based on the recent literature.Results: There was an increase in the Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) after the intervention was given for five minutes followed by fluid resuscitation with 1000 ml of warm Normal Saline. The patient responded well to the intervention given in the ED and was sent to the Intermediate Ward for further treatments.Conclusion: Passive leg raising might be beneficial to be performed in patients with hypovolemic shock as it increases the venous blood return the heart.

Abstract

One effort in dealing with stunting in the community is bystrengthening the POSYANDU institution. In the process ofcommunity empowerment, institutional strengthening is needed aspart of the organization of women's abilities that have been obtainedand then strengthened in institutions that will eventually occur tolearn from one another and as an institutionalized learning exchangeprocess. Through institutional strengthening it is hoped that theacquisition of information, knowledge and skills will continue to beinstitutionalized in social organizations, especially those relating tostunting prevention and handling in Jelbuk Village. The serviceslearned are based on a qualitative approach with descriptivemethods. The subjects of this community service activity were PKKand POSYANDU cadres from Jelbuk village. Data collectiontechniques are done using interviews, observation and studydocumentation. The findings show that the POSYADU institutionalstrengthening strategy can be carried out through strengtheningUKBM management and Health Program Advocacy.

Abstract

Lignit merupakan jenis batu bara yang mengandung banyak pengotor dan memiliki nilai kalor relatif rendah sehingga tidak banyak dimanfaatkan untuk bahan bakar, tetapi mengandung senyawa karbon yang cukup tinggi sehingga mempunyai peluang untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembuatan karbon aktif. Pada penelitiaan ini dilakukan sintesa lignit menjadi karbon aktif dengan menggunakan aktivator Hidrogen Florida (HF). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi aktivator HF dan suhu aktivasi pada pembuatan karbon aktif dari batubara lignit. Proses sintesa lignit menjadi karbon aktif diawali dengan melakukan preparasi batubara melalui proses karbonasi pada temperatur 500oC selama 2 jam. Selanjutnya serbuk batu bara dihaluskan dan  diayak untuk diperoleh ukuran yang seragam 100 mesh. Serbuk batu bara direndam pada larutan HF dengan perbandingan 1:10. Konsentrasi larutan HF bervariasiasi sebesar: 2, 2,5, 3, 3,5, 4 % volume. Perendaman dilakukan selama 5 jam pada temperatur 30oC, kemudian larutan disaring dan residu batu bara diaktivasi menggunakan furnace dengan variabel temperatur 700; 750; 800; 850; 900 oC selama 2 jam. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa karbon aktif terbaik didapatkan pada konsentrasi HF 4% dan suhu aktivasi 900oC dengan daya serap terhadap iodin (I2) sebesar 810,75 mg/g, kadar air 1,9992%, kadar zat terbang 0,192%, kadar abu 5,408% dan fixed carbon mencapai 92,401%.  DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jurnal_tekkim.v15i1.2297

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To explore and analyze the influence of competency and e-government on the quality of public services at the office of religious court in Palu; 2) to explore and analyze the influence of competency on the quality of public services at the office of religious court in Palu; 3) To explore and analyze the influence e-government on the quality of public services at The Office Of Religious Court in Palu. Type of research is descriptive involving 52 civil servants, 7 honorary staff, and 1 voluntary staff The  Office Of Religious Court in Palu who selected as samples by using census technique. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the result finds that : 1) competency and e-government simultaneously have positive and significant influence on the quality of public services at the office of religious court in Palu; 2) partially, competency has positive and significant on the quality of public services at the office of religious court in Palu; 3) partially, E-government has positive and significant influence on the quality of public services at the office of religious court in Palu.

Abstract

Pentas Seni Bertujuan untuk mewadahi bakat dan minat peserta didik dan masyarakat Desa Penengahan,khususnya dalam bidang seni, Sementara itu, peserta didik dan masyarakat lainnya dapat memberikan apresiasi seni dengan menonton dan menikmati pementasan tersebut. Artikel ini berupaya memberikan gambaran dan penjelasan terkait program kerja Taman Belajar peserta didik dan masyarakat di Desa Penengahan.meliputi proses, tahapan Pemilihan peserta yang akan tampil, latihan dan manfaatnya.Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan dengan model deskriptif- eksplanatif. Abstract

The elderly are a high-risk population for various degenerative diseases, including gout, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. Lack of information and knowledge of the elderly about degenerative diseases, healthy lifestyles, and early prevention patterns are the main causes of the high incidence of disease complications in the elderly. The purpose of this community service activity, in general, is to improve the health status of the community through increasing the knowledge of the elderly about degenerative diseases and their prevention efforts in Sumberporon Village. The method of activities carried out in this activity is lecture and discussion. From the results of the counselling activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly about gout, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and diabetes mellitus in Sumberporong Village. In addition, the enthusiasm of the elderly in the discussion and question and answer sessions showed that the curiosity of the elderly about their health was quite high. Knowledge of these degenerative diseases is very necessary so that the elderly can independently maintain their health.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing technology-based learning media, especially the Canva application, in improving Sundanese writing skills. The research method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest designone group. The sample for this research was class X students at a high school in Kuningan. The experimental group received learning using the Canva application. Data was collected through a Sundanese writing test before and after the intervention. The results of data analysis showed a significant increase in the ability to write Sundanese script in the experimental group. These findings confirm that the application of the Canva application learning media can be effective in improving the writing skills of Sundanese script in high school students. The pedagogical implications of this research support the integration of technology in regional language learning to improve students' skills in writing Sundanese script.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the semi-strong form market efficiency regarding dividend announcement in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. The primary focus of this research is to analyze the market reaction to dividend announcements and identify the differences in abnormal returns before and after the announcements. The research employs an event study methodology, with a population consisting of all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. A purposive sampling method was used, resulting in 76 companies that met the research criteria. Data analysis was conducted using one-sample t-test and paired samples test to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicate that there is no significant information content in the dividend announcements, and the market reacts slowly and persistently to this information. Additionally, the test for differences in abnormal returns before and after the announcements shows no significant differences. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Indonesian capital market is not efficient in the semi-strong form, meaning that public information regarding dividends is not fully reflected in stock prices. This research is expected to provide insights for investors and other stakeholders in making investment decisions and serve as a reference for future studies in the field of market efficiency. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efisiensi pasar modal bentuk setengah kuat terkait pengumuman pembagian dividen pada perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2023. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis reaksi pasar terhadap pengumuman dividen dan mengidentifikasi perbedaan abnormal return sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi peristiwa, dengan populasi yang terdiri dari semua perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2023. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling, menghasilkan 76 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji one sample t-test dan uji paired samples test untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat kandungan informasi yang signifikan dalam pengumuman dividen, serta pasar bereaksi secara lambat dan berkepanjangan terhadap informasi tersebut. Selain itu, uji perbedaan abnormal return sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan abnormal return yang signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pasar modal Indonesia tidak efisien dalam bentuk setengah kuat, yang berarti bahwa informasi publik mengenai dividen tidak sepenuhnya tercermin dalam harga saham. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi investor dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi, serta menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya di bidang efisiensi pasar modal.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the learning model applied, namely the flipped classroom learning model, on learning to write scientific papers in an effort to increase the self-improvement of class XI students. The author uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was the Pre-Experimental method in the form of "one group pretest-posttest". This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Jatisari by taking one class as the research sample, namely class XI MIPA 1, totaling 36 respondents from the 171 population of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Jatisari.There are three stages in this research, namely: pretest, treatment, and posttest. The pretest was carried out to determine students' ability to write scientific papers before receiving treatment. After carrying out the pretest, teaching treatment was given with a modern learning style/flipped learning (flipped classroom model) with teaching materials that had been prepared in the sample class. After being given treatment, the researchers then conducted a posttest to find out whether there was an influence in implementing the flipped classroom learning model in learning to write scientific papers in an effort to increase students' self-improvement. The research was processed using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of data analysis in the research prove that the posttest scores of experimental class students have an average score of (85.3). Then, the results of the paired sample t-test data show a significant number between the pretest and posttest values ​​with a significance value (2-tailed) P = 0.000, <0.05. which can be concluded that there is a difference in the average value before and after treatment. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria, it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom learning model in learning to write students' scientific papers is better and there is an increase in students' self-improvement. The results of the research show that using the flipped classroom learning model can influence learning to write scientific papers in increasing the self-improvement of class XI MIPA 1 students at SMAN 1 Jatisari.

Abstract

Character education is very important for nation building to become a dignified generation. So that students can apply character values ​​in everyday life, mathematics is taught through integrating character education values ​​into the learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze how character education is integrated into mathematics learning at MA Ma'arif Roudlotut Tholib during the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is field research with research subjects of school principals, mathematics teachers, and students using descriptive and analytical research methods. Observation, interview, and documentation are the methods used to collect data. While data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions are used in data analysis techniques. The results showed that class X students of MA Ma'arif Roudlotut Tholibin received character education in learning mathematics, as evidenced by the inculcation of a number of character values ​​when learning took place both in class and outside the classroom. In addition, there were several obstacles found regarding differences in student characteristics, such as the lack of motivation in students, the lack of available school facilities, and the low level of time discipline. Thus the solution to these obstacles is to accustom students to applying character values ​​by setting real examples, giving warnings to those who violate them, building character through posters that are affixed to school walls such as banners or slogans that show character values ​​and complete facilities. adequate schools in order to form character education values ​​during the process of cultivating character values ​​in schools.
