Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence farmers decisions to harvest white pepper crops, which related to delay selling or direct selling.  Method of research  used in this research was survey method, stratified random sampling was used on 60 respondents which categorized as large farmers and small farmers, and the method of  analysis used logistic binary regression. The result showed that there was a difference between the large farmers and small farmers’ decisions. The tendency for large farmers do delay the selling and the tendency of small farmers as much as 57 percent do direct selling and 43 percent of farmers do delay selling. There are three variables that influence farmers decisions, namely the amount of production, price perception and consumption needs.

Abstract

Fluktuasi harga ketiga komoditas volatile foods (beras, bawang merah, dan daging ayam ras) memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap inflasi di Kota Pangkalpinang, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kota Pangkalpinang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak fluktuasi harga tiga komoditas volatile foods utama yaitu beras, bawang merah, dan daging ayam ras terhadap inflasi di Kota Pangkalpinang. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series bulanan dari Januari 2012 hingga Desember 2016 dan dianalasis menggunakan model VAR (Vector Autoregression) atau VECM (Vector Error Correction Model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek terdapat dua komoditas yang berpengaruh positif terhadap inflasi di Kota Pangkalpinang yaitu beras dan bawang merah. Dalam jangka panjang juga terdapat dua komoditas yang berpengaruh positif terhadap inflasi di Kota Pangkalpinang yaitu beras dan daging ayam ras. Analisis IRF (Impulse Response Function) menunjukkan respon Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) Pangkalpinang terhadap guncangan harga beras dan bawang merah mencapai titik keseimbangan pada jangka panjang, sementara harga daging ayam ras tidak mencapai titik keseimbangan pada jangka panjang dan jangka pendek. Analisis FEVD (Forecast Error Variance Decompositon) menunjukkan bahawa harga daging ayam ras memberikan kontribusi paling besar terhadap inflasi di Kota Pangkalpinang

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution of agriculture sector based on superior sub-sector (base) in Bangka Regency. This research was conducted in November 2016 until May 2017 in Bangka Regency. This research uses survey method. The research uses secondary data which collected from several agencies in Bangka District. The method of analysis is Location Quotient (LQ). The result of research shows that Bakam District has one base sub-sector that is annual estate sub-sector; Belinyu District has two basic sub-sectors, namely livestock sub-sector and fishery sub-sector; Merawang District has three sub sectors namely horticultural crops sub-sector, fishery sub-sector, and livestock sub-sector; West Mendo District has two basic sub-sectors, namely food crops sub-sector and annual crop sub-sector and other horticulture sub-sector; Pemali District has two sub-sectors, namely food crops and annual plantation sub-sector; Puding Besar District has one sub-sector that is the annual plantation sub-sector; Riau Silip District has two sub-sectors of base, namely food crop sub-sector and plantation sub-sector yearly; and Sungailiat District has three sub sectors namely horticulture and annual crops sub sector, fishery sub-sector, and livestock sub-sector.

Abstract

Harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung cenderung berfluktuasi pada 10 tahun terakhir. Fluktuasi harga dapat menyebabkan volatilitas harga yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis volatilitas harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volatilitas harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data time series periode Januari 2007 sampai Desember 2016. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis model ARCH-GARCH (Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) dan Generalized Autogressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH)) dan analisis model VAR/VECM (Vector Autoregression (VAR) atau Vector Error Correction Model  (VECM)) dengan bantuan aplikasi Eviews 8.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volatilitas harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung rendah dengan nilai koefisien ARCH sebesar 0,467403 dan akan bertahan dalam jangka waktu yang lama dengan koefisien GARCH sebesar 0,807681. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volatilitas harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dalam jangka panjang yaitu harga daging sapi domestik dengan nilai presentase sebesar 4,60692, suku bunga dengan nilai presentase sebesar 3,41990 dan nilai tukar rupiah dengan nilai presentase sebesar 3,03446. Pada jangka pendek tidak terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi volatilitas harga daging sapi di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung

Abstract

The average price of white pepper in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province from January 2007 to December 2016 was IDR 72,531 per kg on the producer market, IDR 80,622 per kg on the export market, and IDR 99,017 per kg on the world market. Based on the data, there is a large marketing margin between the producer market and the export market, IDR 8,091 per kg. While, the margin between the export market and the world market was IDR 18,395 per kg. The present research aims to analyze the transmission of white pepper prices in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province among the three markets. The Asymmetric Error Correction Model (AECM) was used as the model to analyze the transmission of white pepper prices in Bangka Belitung Island Province from producers to exporters, from producers to world market, and from exporters to world market. The transmission of white pepper prices from the three markets shows that in the short period it runs asymmetrically, whereas in the long period it runs symmetrically. Conversely, the transmission of white pepper prices from the world market to the exporters market runs symmetrically in the short term but it runs asymmetrically in the long term.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung pendapatan usaha kecil kerajinan rotan dan merumuskan alternatif strategi pemasaran usaha kecil kerajinan rotan di Desa Delas Kecamatan Air Gegas Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus. Metode penarikan contoh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus dan proposive sampling. Metode sensus adalah suatu metode pengambilan data secara kesulurahan dari semua populasi. Populasi Kerajinan Rotan ada 30 orang . Purposive sampling merupakan teknik penentuan sampel secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan tertentu Sementara responden yang dianggap paham betul dengan perencanaan strategis dan ahli dibidangnya yaitu Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan 2 orang, ketua kelompok di Desa Delas 1 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa jumlah pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh pengrajin rotan di Desa Delas dalam satu bulan produksi adalah sebesar Rp.2.478.333. Jumlah pendapatan rata-rata tersebut diperoleh dari jumlah penerimaan sebesar Rp. 5.670.000 dikurangi dengan jumlah biaya produksi sebesar Rp.3.191.667. Strategi pemasaran Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Kerajinan rotan di Desa Delas Kecamatan Air Gegas Kabupaten Bangka Selatan strategi SWOT.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kelayakan usaha tani buah naga di kelurahan sinar baru kecamatan sungai liat Kabupaten Bangka dan menganalisis efisiensi pemasaran buah naga di Kelurahan Sinar Baru Kecamatan Sungailiat Kabupaten Bangka. Metode penarikan contoh dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus yaitu suatu metode pengambilan data secara keseluruhan dari semua sampel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang petani buah naga di Kelurahan sinar baru. Hasil dari riset ini adalah usaha tani buah naga yang dilakukan di Kelurahan Sinar Baru layak untuk diusahakan dilihat dari hasil kelayakan usahanya,seperti Pendapatan petani sebesar Rp.19.563.034 persatu kali panen, keuntungan petani sebesar Rp.13.704.368 untuk R/C ratio 1,37 dan Break Even Point (BEP), BEP produksi 1.696 Kg, BEP penerimaan Rp 35.946.151 dan BEP harga Rp.14.432. lebih dominan menjual hasil produksinya ke pedagang buah dibandingakan saluran pemasaran II, karena pedagang buah lebih bayak menampung hasil produksi dari petani sehingga petani tidak perlu menyimpan hasil produksi.dimana tingkat harga dari petani ke pedagang buah dan konsumen akhir adalah sama sebesar Rp.20.000. dari pedagang buah ke konsumen akhir Rp.24.500 dan farmer share usaha tani buah naga di Kelurahan Sinar Baru adalah sebesar 81,63%.

Abstract

The development of white pepper in Bangka Belitung Province is an interesting issue to be concerned, because of it has been well-known worldwide as Muntok White Pepper. This research based on the relationship among input, process, and output produced also high operating cost of white pepper farming. The focus of this research are (1) Calculating the amount of production cost, income, and the lowest output farmers’ price in Kundi Village, (2) Analyzing production inputs which allegedly influencing the amount of white pepper production in Kundi Village. The method used in this research was survey method and desk study and field study approach also data analyzing used Break Even Point and regression analysis used production function of Cobb Douglas, therefore the result of this research was (1) The amount of cost spent by the farmers in the first harvest season is Rp. 77.080.861, the income of white pepper farming in the first harvest season is Rp. 99.556.639. while BEP of price of white pepper is Rp.67.615 and BEP of Production of white pepper is Rp. 493 kilograms. (2) There are two variables influencing the amount of production of white pepper farming in Kundi Village, that is fertilizer (X1) and labor (X2).

Abstract

The integrated cattle and oil palm system is part of an excellent program of the Bangka Tengah Regency to increase the production of plantation and livestock. The benefit of the system is ensuring the availability of the animal feed derived from oil palm plantation waste while the feces of cattle is potential in producing the fertilizer for oil palm. The community service aims to alter the paradigm of the society on the integrated cattle and oil palm system as well as to empower the people to implement the system. Four steps were used as the methods to implement the programs are preparation; socialization; simulation; and monitoring and evaluation. Qualitative descriptive was employed to analyze the data. The program found that 90% of stock farmers agreed that the system was easily doable. The stock farmers were able to use the probio_Fm technology in implementing the system by making the silage made from the oil palm plantation waste. The knowledge of beneficiaries had increased and their behavior in feeding activities had positively altered through the program. It was found that the livestock required a week to adapt to the silage as the fermented materials in the probio-Fm technology. The use of a chopping machine was able to be a choice as it was able to produce the smoother chopped midrib. It concludes that the system is sustainably used to be implemented by Tunas Baru stock farmer.
