Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terlihat kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun masih tergolong rendah, oleh karena itu diperlukannya alat permainan edukatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan geometri anak usia 5-6 tahun sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan berupa APE mailbox geometry di TK Pertiwi DWP Setdaprov Riau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain prettest-posttest control group design. Seluruh anak di TK Pertiwi DWP Setdaprov Riau usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 23 anak yang dijadikan populasi, sampling jenuh digunakan untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi dalam mengumpulakan data, untuk menanalisis data menggunakan uji t-test dengan SPSS V 29. Hasil analisis data t_hitung 40.82 lebih besar t_tabel 2.080. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan hasil rumus N-Gain yang menunjukan bahwa APE mailbox geometry berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak uisa 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi DWP Setdaprov Riau sebesar 73.33%.

Abstract

This study aims to understand parents' perceptions of the factors influencing the moral behavior of children aged 4-5 years at TK FKIP Universitas Riau. Observations indicate that children tend to exhibit a lack of moral behavior, such as reluctance to greet elders, unwillingness to share food, not praying before and after meals, not eating calmly, and not respecting their peers. This descriptive study employs a quantitative approach, using Suharsimi Arikunto's (2003) three-ranking grouping analysis to determine the accuracy of the issues. The sample consists of 40 parents, specifically mothers, of children attending TK FKIP Universitas Riau. Data analysis results show that parents' perceptions of the factors influencing the moral behavior of children are categorized as fairly good. Parents are considered the main factor in the development of children's moral behavior, given that the time children spend with parents is longer compared to time spent with teachers at school. In conclusion, the role of parents is crucial in developing children's moral behavior.

Abstract

The ability to recognize geometric shapes in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru is still not as expected, therefore a treatment is needed to improve children's ability to recognize geometric shapes using gamification-based e-books. The purpose of this study was to determine and prove the effect of gamification-based e-books on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were children in class B4 of TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru aged 5-6 years totaling 20 people. The sample of this study was 20 people. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling. The data collection technique used by researchers is primary data through observation sheets. Data analysis using t-test. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to recognize geometric shapes seen from the average acquisition score before and after treatment. The results of data analysis obtained t count 27.264 greater than t table 2.093 from this study can be concluded that gamification-based e-books affect the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years at State Kindergarten Pembina 3 Pekanbaru.
