Abstract

Investment as a means of developing assets is no longer a luxury activity reserved for a select few. Nowadays, as financial technology advances, everyone has equal access to investment information. This change generates new perspectives in which investing is not restricted to the wealthy, leading everyone, even on-budget millennials to be investors. The purpose of this research is to determine the variables affecting investing decisions at an early age, especially among millennials. This research adopted single-equation regression models to examine the dependent variable on several explanatory variables and estimate mean or average value. The data was generated using a questionnaire to 140 respondents. Three distinct variables utilized as independent variables are financial literacy, motivation, and the digitization of investing platforms. The findings indicate that financial literacy and motivation substantially affect millennials’ investment decisions, while digitization presents no correlation to the Millennials’ investment decisions.

Abstract

As seen by capitalization value increase and investor interest, Indonesian Islamic capital markets are developing. This research examines the long-term effects of macroeconomic factors and U.S. economic policy uncertainty on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and its reaction to macroeconomic shocks and the US EPU from January 2018 to September 2022. Inflation, exchange rates, GDP, and EPU, are macroeconomic factors analyzed with Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). This research shows long-term GDP affects the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). In structural analysis, JII capitalization responds volatilely to Inflation, positively to exchange rate movement (USD/IDR), and adversely to US GDP and EPU. This analysis also shows that the exchange rate (USD/IDR rate) explains the JII variable the most, followed by the US EPU, GDP, and Inflation. Keywords: JII; Inflation; Exchange rate; GDP; US EPU

Abstract

Kata kunci— Pengabdian Masyarakat, Bank Sampah, Pupuk Kompos, Ekonomi Sirkuler Abstract Sukun Berdaya Village has a Sukun Berseri waste bank that manages household organic waste into compost. Abstract

Schemes in the management of agricultural land are very diverse, ranging from self-management and cooperation through mukhabarah, muzara'ah contracts to rental systems. This paper aims to precisely determine the scheme of cooperation in the management of agricultural land in Tumpang District. The most frequently used of the several land management cooperation schemes is mukhabarah, which benefits both landowners and smallholders. The approach used is qualitative, with a case study method. The population in this study were all agricultural landowners in Tumpang District, and the sample used was landowners who used the mukhabarah scheme. Then, the instrument in this study was in-depth interviews conducted on smallholders and landowners. This study indicates that the mukhabarah scheme provides higher income to landowners compared to the rental system. Meanwhile, from the side of smallholders, the mukhabarah scheme provides and opens job opportunities and increases income from land management. Another trivial thing but becomes an important point is that landowners and sharecroppers can still share agricultural products with residents/neighbors through this scheme.

Culinary MSMEs are in Kedungkandang District, Malang City, as the research population. The sample was taken by a purposive sampling technique with a research sample of 100 respondents. Data ere collected by n distributing questionnaires and was measured using nominal and Likert scales-data processing with Stata 17 software with a multinomial logistic regression model. The results show that perceived benefits, convenience and risk partially affect the interest of culinary MSMEs in using QRIS. The perception of benefits, convenience and risk encourages an increase in the probability of interest in culinary MSMEs in using QRIS so that perceived benefits can increase MSME understanding of the benefits of QRIS, the perception of ease of use supports increased adoption of QRIS use; perceived risk can encourage strengthening the QRIS security system so that MSMEs are more confident and adopt QRIS.
