Abstract

Business competitiveness plays a crucial role in the future development of grocery stores. To sustain growth, grocery stores must be able to adapt and create changes that foster brand trust. Grocery stores primarily serve middle to lower-income consumers by offering essential goods. The expansion of grocery stores in Surabaya continues to rise, as evidenced by 1,504 stores across 31 districts. Dukuh Pakis contributes 3.72% to this total, with 32 active grocery stores. This study aims to assess the competitive readiness of grocery stores to adapt to consumer changes and establish brand trust. A quantitative approach was employed, focusing on the 32 active grocery stores in Dukuh Pakis District. The findings indicate that 15 grocery stores (47%) fall under Grade 3, 8 stores (25%) under Grade 2, and 9 stores (28%) under Grade 1. The competitiveness assessment, measured through four dimensions, yielded a score of 13.06787109, classifying grocery stores in Dukuh Pakis District as having a strong competitive position. Keywords: industrial economics, competitive strategy, grocery   stores,        Surabaya city

Abstract

To support the achievement of the quality of the nation's education through higher education, it should be in harmony and synergy with the activities of the Tri Dharma Lecturer. One of the program is international community service. This community service will be applied to the Indonesian worker community under the Indonesian Embassy, Malaysia. The demand for holistic education is increasingly urgent. The young generation, including Generation Alpha, must be equipped with knowledge, skills and strong values to face the increasingly complex challenges of the future. Anti-corruption education is an important aspect of the education process that is often overlooked or lacking in the formal curriculum. The Indonesian workers' community under the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia is a gathering place for Indonesian families living abroad, with a focus on education and youth development. Parents have a crucial role in shaping their children's education. However, they often need the right guidance and resources to support their children's development in these aspects. Given these conditions, there is a need to maximize the role of parents in anti-corruption education for the Alpha Generation within the Indonesian working community under the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia. By involving parents in the education process, we can create an environment that supports the full development of children's potential and help them become citizens of the country that have good responsibility and integrity.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of  infrastructure as a supporting factor for economic growth in Southeast Asian countries. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through literature study. The data used is from 2016 to 2022. The independent variable data used in this research are: Number of Mobile Legends Players, Number of Mobile Legends Venues and Information and Communication Technology Development Index in Southeast Asian Countries. Then the dependent variable is National Income in Southeast Asian Countries. The research results show that the number of players variable has a significant effect on national income, the number of venues has no significant effect on national income, and the information and communication technology development index variable has a significant effect on the national income variable. Then, if viewed simultaneously, the variables number of players, number of venues and the information and communication technology development index on simultaneous have a significant effect on national income. These three variables have an influence on national income of 68%, while the deficiency of 32% is influenced by other variables outside the research.

Abstract

Schemes in the management of agricultural land are very diverse, ranging from self-management and cooperation through mukhabarah, muzara'ah contracts to rental systems. This paper aims to precisely determine the scheme of cooperation in the management of agricultural land in Tumpang District. The most frequently used of the several land management cooperation schemes is mukhabarah, which benefits both landowners and smallholders. The approach used is qualitative, with a case study method. The population in this study were all agricultural landowners in Tumpang District, and the sample used was landowners who used the mukhabarah scheme. Then, the instrument in this study was in-depth interviews conducted on smallholders and landowners. This study indicates that the mukhabarah scheme provides higher income to landowners compared to the rental system. Meanwhile, from the side of smallholders, the mukhabarah scheme provides and opens job opportunities and increases income from land management. Another trivial thing but becomes an important point is that landowners and sharecroppers can still share agricultural products with residents/neighbors through this scheme.

Abstract

As seen by capitalization value increase and investor interest, Indonesian Islamic capital markets are developing. This research examines the long-term effects of macroeconomic factors and U.S. economic policy uncertainty on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and its reaction to macroeconomic shocks and the US EPU from January 2018 to September 2022. Inflation, exchange rates, GDP, and EPU, are macroeconomic factors analyzed with Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). This research shows long-term GDP affects the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). In structural analysis, JII capitalization responds volatilely to Inflation, positively to exchange rate movement (USD/IDR), and adversely to US GDP and EPU. This analysis also shows that the exchange rate (USD/IDR rate) explains the JII variable the most, followed by the US EPU, GDP, and Inflation.Keywords: JII; Inflation; Exchange rate; GDP; US EPU

Abstract

Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru, termasuk kemampuan menulis dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah. Namun, banyak guru SMA di Kota Malang masih menghadapi kendala dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah, terutama artikel bereputasi internasional, seperti rendahnya motivasi menulis, kurangnya pemahaman sistematika penulisan, serta keterbatasan literasi publikasi ilmiah berbasis OJS. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah internasional bagi guru-guru SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Malang melalui workshop, pendampingan teknis, dan diskusi interaktif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 16 Juni 2025 di Aula SMAN 9 Malang, dengan peserta 20 guru dari SMA negeri dan swasta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan materi substantif mengenai pentingnya publikasi ilmiah, teknik penentuan topik dan riset gap, penyusunan outline artikel internasional, praktik menulis bagian artikel (judul, abstrak, pendahuluan, metode), orientasi jurnal nasional bereputasi (SINTA), serta pengenalan jurnal internasional terindeks Scopus melalui platform Scimago Journal & Country Rank (SJR). Pendampingan dilakukan dalam bentuk konsultasi langsung terhadap draft peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang tinggi, dibuktikan melalui aktifnya diskusi, pertanyaan, dan keterlibatan dalam latihan penyusunan outline artikel. Guru mampu mengidentifikasi riset gap, menyusun judul yang relevan, serta merancang outline artikel internasional secara lebih sistematis. Peserta juga mampu membaca dan memahami indikator kualitas jurnal melalui SINTA dan Scimago. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi publikasi ilmiah dan kesiapan guru dalam menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang layak submit ke jurnal nasional maupun internasional.
