Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan berbagai nilai budaya dan ajaran agama Hindu dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran hukum dalam kehidupan masyarakat di era modern. Ada berbagai budaya dan ajaran agama Hindu yang dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan dasar dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran hukum guna menjaga ketertiban di tengah masyarakat diantaranya yaitu: dharma yang mengandung nilai kebenaran dalam menjalankan tugas dan kewajiban sebagai umat beragama Hindu, Tri Hita Karana adalah budaya masyarakat Bali yang dijiwai oleh ajaran Hindu terkait tiga konsep hidup tangguh dalam menjaga hubungan harmonis. Hukum Karma merupakan konsep ajaran agama Hindu yang mengajarkan tentang hukum timbal balik di mana setiap perbuatan akan mendatangkan hasil hasil (karma phala). Ketiga ajaran agama Hindu ini merupakan pondasi kuat yang menanamkan budaya hidup tangguh guna menciptakan ketertiban dan keharmonisan kehidupan masyarakat di era modern Kata kunci: Budaya, Ajaran Hindu, Landasan Hukum, Masyarakat, Era Modern

Abstract

This study analyzed forms of social interaction and the existence of Balinese culture in multicultural communities in Tangkiling Village, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan. The issue discussed with intercultural theory interaction with descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the form of social interaction carried out by Balinese transmigrants in Tangkiling in the religious field was tolerance based on Tat Twam Asi, in the social sector developing a helping attitude, forming a farmer group named Sari Bumi Farmer Group, and actively joined in the membership of the Neighbourhood Security System. Competition and conflict also occur but can be managed properly so that it does not become an open conflict. These affect of Balinese culture existence in the Tangkiling, including the existence of sanggah­-shrine, the concept of ngayah (religious volunteer), the tradition of annual giant-idol of ogoh-ogoh parade, and the use of decorated bamboo penjor usage. These make Balinese culture sustainable in the midst of multicultural and religious plurality.

Abstract

Maraknya pengaruh radikalisme melalui berbagai media digital di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang cendrung memicu terjadinya konflik, serta memecah belah persatuan bangsa dangan mendikotomi masyarakat menjadi kelompok-kelompok dengan ideology yang mereka yakini. Hai ini kalau dibiarkan tentu akan merusak sendi-sendi kehidupan bangsa yang telah mapan. Terkait hal ini pemerintah dewasa ini mewacanakan keharipan local (local genius) yang mengacu kepada masing-masing adat budaya sebagai pedoman dan acuan dalam menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa. Dengan demikian Indonesia sebagai negara multikultur akan semakin kuat dalam menghadapi gempuran radikalisme yang sengaja di hembuskan oleh segelintir orang. Salah satu keharipan local (local genius) tersebut adalah keharifan lokal Dayak yaitu filosofi huma betang. Untuk itu tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah mengetahui nilai-nilai keharifan lokal pada Filosofi Huma Betang dan implementasinya dalam Interaksi Sosial Masyarakat Dayak Di Kota Palangka Raya. Karya ilmiah ini di sajikan dalam bentuk kualitatif dengan data diperoleh melalui studi dokumen atau literature berupa karya ilmiah seperti jurnal, laporan hasil penelitian, skripsi, tesis, dan disertasi. Dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai moralitas pada filosofi huma betang yang masih dipedomi oleh masyarakat Dayak di Kota Palangka Raya adalah nilai kebersamaan, gotong royong (handep), belom bahadat(etika), dan musyawarah mufakat (hafakat basarah). Nilai-nilai moralitas ini terimplementasikan dalam hukum adat Dayak yang dijadikan acuan dalam berprilaku sehari-hari.

Abstract

The modernization of life today is not an excuse for some Dayak people in Palangka Raya City to abandon various traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. One of them is the nyadiri ritual as a ritual of repelling reinforcements which is believed to be able to neutralize various negative influences in humans and can cause suffering (illness). There are three types of self-awareness rituals that are often carried out, namely nupi (dreaming) self-awareness, pregnant self-awareness, and self-awareness due to calamity. There are three stages in carrying out self-isolation for sick people, namely the first stage is carried out at home, the second stage is throwing all negative things out of the house according to dreams that are experienced in waterways, behind the house or graves. The third stage is to return the spirit or offerings to the sick person by placing a behas baruan on the crown of the sick person and then sprinkling holy water as a symbol of generating a positive aura for the sick person so that he will be healthy again soon. The meaning of treatment in the nyadiri ritual can be interpreted from the tools and infrastructure used, such as nyiru, banana leaves, statues of Sadiri, Ketupat Sumbawa, Tantaluh Manuk, Hundus Tanak, and Tampung Tawar, all of which are symbols of self-cleansing from negative influences.

Abstract

Abstrak This article aims to provide solutions to overcome the problems of radicalism and intimidation that are increasingly prevalent in society in the name of religion There are three problems in this article, namely: How does a multicultural and plural society practice religious moderation in Indonesia, how is religious moderation taught in Niti Sastra and the importance of religious moderation education in a plural society. In analysing the problem, library research method is used. The results obtained are: (1). The practice of religious moderation in Indonesia is reflected in several moments of religious rituals such as the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, Christmas, and Nyepi, as well as incidental activities such as grief and marriage. (2). The value of religious moderation in Niti Sastra is reflected in various character education that is emphasised to be a good leader such as mutual respect, appreciation (3) Religious moderation in plural societies is very important to be applied to overcome the distortion of community morality values, an important key to the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation, and to preserve the continuity of traditions.
