Abstract

Introduction: The creative potential of children will develop best through systematic physical activity and adapted to the age group of growth and development. If the child's fine motor skills are often stimulated, then he will grow well and be able to do physical activities well, and if the child can do physical activities well it will affect his fine motor development.The purpose : to see whether there was a relationship between physical exercise and fine motor skills in PAUD children. Method : used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this study was PAUD Islam Makarima children aged 3-4 years. The instruments used are physical activity questionnaires and DDST. The data analyzed using the Kendall test. The results : obtained p-value 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a relevant relationship between the two variables, namely physical activity and fine motor skills in PAUD children. The conclusion is that Physical Activity is very influential in the development of children's fine motor skills.Keywords : Physical Activity; Fine Motor Skills; Early Childhood

Abstract

Anak memiliki kegiatan yang padat dengan pembelajaran, aktivitas pembelajaran ini tidak hanya dilakukan disekolah tetapi juga dilakukan dirumah, seperti mengerjakan tugas sekolah dan mengikuti kelas tambahan. Dengan padatnya kegiatan pembelajaran anak akan memaksakan otak untuk bekerja sangat keras sehingga terjadi ketidakseimbangan antara otak kanan dan otak kiri, juga dapat menyebabkan kelelahan pada otak sehingga konsentrasi dalam belajar anak menjadi menurun. Permasalahan yang dialami anak bimbingan kelas 5 SD Desa Sadang yaitu menurunnya konsentrtasi pada saat berlangsungnya proses belajar, terutama pada siang hari, postur tubuh pada saat duduk di bangku tidak baik dan kurangnya pemahaman anak tentang postur yang baik dan benar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini diberikan tindakan fisioterapi berupa Brain Gym dan penyuluhan tentang duduk yang baik dan benar. Brain Gym dapat menstimulasi bagian-bagian otak yang tertutup atau terhambat menjadi terbuka, sehingga pada saat berlangsungnya kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan seluruh bagian otak atau whole brain yang meningkatkan keefektifan belajar. Menurut riset respon atau dampak positif akan didapatkan apabila menerapkan olahraga dan latihan pada Brain Gym yaitu peningkatan konsentrasi, atensi, kewaspadaan dan kemampuan fungsi otak untuk melakukan perencanaa, respon dan membuat keputusan tanpa batasan umur.

Abstract

Fractures are one of the causes of disability due to trauma due to accidents. The internal fixation used in this case is in the form of plates and screws in the form of iron plates and screws that are attached to the broken bones so that they function as immobilization. Tibial fractures are serious but rare injuries accounting for approximately 1.2% of all fractures. Tibial fractures are noted to occur in young men and elderly women with osteoporosis representing up to 8% of all fractures. With 72% in patients older than 55 years. The condition of Post ORIF Fracture Tibial Plateau causes pain, edema, decreased joint range of motion, muscle weakness, and decreased ability to functional activities. The implementation of the physiotherapy program in this case aims to determine the effect of providing physiotherapy interventions in the form of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Ankle Pumping Exercise, Static Exercise, Hold Relax, and Active Resisted Exercise in reducing pain, reducing edema, increasing joint range of motion, increasing strength. muscles, and optimizing the functional activity of Post ORIF Fracture Tibial Plateau. This research method was carried out directly to 1 respondent with the condition of Post ORIF Fracture Tibial Plateau Sinistra by giving therapy as much as 4 therapy sessions. After four sessions of therapy, the results were decreased pain, decreased edema, increased range of motion, increased muscle strength, and increased functional activity. The conclusion was that the physiotherapy program in the case of Post ORIF Fracture Tibial Plateau Sinistra was proven to be able to reduce pain, edema, increase joint range of motion, increase muscle strength, and increase functional activity.Keywords: Fracture, Post ORIF Fracture Tibial Plateau, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, Exercise Therapy

Abstract

Introduction : Bell's palsy is a facial nerve dysfunction that affects the muscles of facial expression. Weakness of the facial muscles on one side greatly affects people with Bell's palsy, the subject complains of difficulty in facial expression, difficulty in activities involving oral, difficulty speaking, visual disturbances (dry eyes). , and there is pain behind the ear. In this case, Bell's palsy patients experience problems in their productivity in communicating and socially also decreasing because the patient's confidence decreases due to an asymmetrical face. The modalities that will be used to treat cases of Bell's palsy include Infrared (IR), ES (electrical stimulation), and facial exercises (FE). Objective: to prove the effectiveness of administering IR, ES, and FE on the motor control ability of Bell's palsy patients. Methods: Single subject research conducted on an 18 year old teenager with Bell's palsy. Results: The evaluation was carried out using the Facial Muscle Testing Manual and the Ugo Fisch Scale. Conclusion: There was an increase in function in the form of muscle strength and functional facial in Bell's palsy patients after being given IR, ES, and FE for 4 weeks.Keyword :  Bell’s palsy, infrared, electrical stimulation, facial exercise

Abstract

Latar Belakang: carpal tunnel syndrome bilateral merupakan kelemahan pada tangan disertai nyeri pada daerah yang dialiri oleh nervus medianus. Keluhan yang dirasakan seperti perih, mati rasa, kesemutan, paresthesia (kesemutan semacam dibakar) sehingga mengganggu aktivitas fungsional. Fisioterapiu memberikan intervensi untuk perbaikan, pemulihan, dan peningkatan fisiologis tubuh dan fungsi fisik. Jenis terapi yang diberikan yaitu Tens, dan Active, passive, resisted exercise, stretching exercise, nerve gliding exercise, dan neurodynamic mobilization. Tujuan: Mengetahui manajemen fisioterapi dan efektivitas terapi dengan Tens, dan Active, passive, resisted exercise, stretching exercise, nerve gliding exercise, dan neurodynamic mobilization. Metode: Penelitian dengan metode Case Report yang dilaksanakan di rumah sakit RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali pada seorang pasien perempuan berusia 51 tahun terdiagnosa fisioterapi Carpal Tunnel Syndrome bilateral dengan keluhan kebas, kesemutan, tidak bisa merasakan dingin dan nyeri pasien kesulitan untuk melakukan pekerjaan dan melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari di rumah. Pasien diberikan intervensi berupa tens dan terapi latihan yang dilakukan 1 minggu 2 kali. Hasil: Terapi latihan yang dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali didapatkan hasil adanya penurunan nyeri, peningkatan kekuatan otot, peningkatan LGS tangan, belum ada peningkatan aktivitas fungsional. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian menggunakan Case Report ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen fisioterapi dengan metode terapi latihan pada kasus Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Bilateral, secara keseluruhan hasil evaluasi yang didapatkan adanya peningkatan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit Morbus Hensen atau yang biasa disebut kusta merupakan penyakit granulo matosa kronis yang dikarenakan bakteri Myobacterium leprae. Dan untuk morbus hensen Multi Basiler Reaksi II sendiri merupakan reaksi hormonal antara M. Leprae dan antibody pasien yang menimbulkan respon inflamasi pada pasien. Kusta awal mula ditemukan oleh Gerhard Armauer Hansen pada tahun 1873 di Norwegia. Penyakit ini menyerang pada sistem saraf tepi, perifer dan saraf sensoris, dengan manifestasi klinik berupa kulit kering hingga xerosis dan kelemahan otot. Tujuan: Manajemen fisioterapi pada kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat diberikannya intervensi fisioterapi berupa oiling dan terapi latihan, ambulasi dan edukasi dalam mengurangi xerosis dan kemampuan fungsional pasien. Metode: case report ini dilakukan di RSUD Kelet Donorejo dengan mengambil salah sample salah satu pasien kusta dengan pemberian modalitas fisioterapi berupa oiling, terapi latihan dan ambulasi sebanyak 3 kali sesi terapi. Selanjutnya melakukan pengukuran pada terapi pertama dan terapi ketiga dan didapatkan hasil peningkatan skala ODSS dan peningkatan skala kemampuan fungsional. Hasil: dari manajemen fisioterapi yang diterapkan pada kasus Morbus Hensen Multi Basiler Reaksi II didapatkan hasil berupa meningkatnya skala ODSS dan meningkatnya skala aktifitas fungsional. Kesimpulan: Manajemen fisioterapi pada case report ini terbukti dalam peningkatan skala ODSS dan peningkatan skala kemampuan fungsional pasien

Abstract

Background: Down syndrome (DS) is a common condition caused by trisomy of human chromosome 21. Clinical manifestations include hypotonia, poor posture control, abnormal movement, heart abnormalities, and respiratory function, which hinder functional ability. Down syndrome management interventions can use Trampolin based SSC and core stability exercise. Method: This case study uses a pre- and post-test research design by comparing assessments before and after Trampolin based SSC and core stability exercise interventions, then observed and evaluated for 4 meetings. Results: There was an increase in functional ability measured using GMFM from dimension C to dimension D. Conclusion: This case study concludes that physiotherapy intervention has an influence on the functional ability of patients with Down syndrome.

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disorder in which progressive loss of articular cartilage occurs and can lead to disability. The most common symptom of osteoarthritis is pain. Usually the pain is exacerbated by use of the joint and relieved by rest. treatment is only aimed at relieving pain, maintaining or increasing mobility, minimizing disability, and improving quality of life. Objective: To determine the effect of quadriceps sets and manual traction on pain in knee osteoarthritis. Methods: This study used a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest design. Pain measurement was performed using a visual analogue scale (VAS). The data normality analysis test will use Shapiro Wilk while the bivariate analysis uses the paired sample t test, and the multivariate analysis uses a linear regression test. Results: The results obtained from this study, there was a significant effect of manual traction and quadriceps sets on pain p=0.000 (p <0.05) and there was no significant relationship between changes in pain with age (p=0.266) and BMI (p=0.241). Conclusion: There is an effect of giving quadriceps sets and manual traction on the incidence of reducing pain in knee osteoarthritis.

Abstract

Introduction: Low Back Pain is a health problem in almost all countries in the world. It is almost certain that 50-80 percent of people aged 20 years and over have experienced LBP. Generally suffered by women aged 60 years and over more often feel lower back pain. The prevalence of low back pain cases is estimated at one year to be 38.0% ± 19.4% and is higher in the elderly population. Hyperlordosis is one of the factors that causes mechanical low back pain. Based on the existing prevalence of women who tend to experience hyperlordosis, because women’s physiological muscle abilities are lower than men’s. Hiperlordosis causes the point of body weight will shift forward. Hyperlordosis, this is because the point of body weight will shift forward. As compensation, the back muscles will work harder. Purpose: this study was to determine the effect of dynamic neuromuscular stabilization on reducing pain in low back pain myogenic et causa lumbar hyperlordosis. Methods: patients are given dynamic neuromuscular stabilization for 4 weeks 5x meetings with doses 3 times a week each session is 30 minutes. Results: evaluation was carried out using Range Of Motion (ROM), Manual Muscle Testing, Numeric Rating Scale. Conclusion: There is an increase in Manual Muscle Testing and a decrease in pain on the Numeric Rating Scale, so that this intervention is very effective in reducing back pain caused by incorrect posture.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Cidera pada Lateral Colateral Ligamen(LCL) sering terjadi bersamaan dengan cidera pada Anterior Cruciatum ligament(ACL). Rekonstruksi ligamen merupakan prosedur bedah yang ditujukan untuk memulihkan stabilitas dengan cara menyambungkan kembali ligamen yang rusak dengan sebagian tendon dari tubuh pasien seperti tendon patellar. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penatalaksanaan pada kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian intervensi fisioterapi berupa latihan penguatan dan kontrol neuromuskular dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis satu kaki pada kondisi pasca operasi ACL dan LCL Reconstruction Dextra untuk meningkatkan kekuatan otot flexor dan extensor knee dextra di RSO Prof. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta. Metode: Program ini dilakukan langsung kepada responden dengan kondisi pasca operasi ACL dan LCL Reconstruction dengan pemberian terapi sebanyak 3 kali sesi terapi. Pengukuran kekuatan otot flexor dan extensor knee dextra dengan metoda 1RM. Hasil: Setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak tiga kali didapatkan hasil peningkatan kekuatan otot flexor dan extensor knee dextra yang diukur dengan metode 1RM, T0 Untuk kekuatan otot flexor knee dextra diukur dengan metode 1RM dengan menggunakan leg curl machine dengan hasil 7 kg dan untuk extensor knee dextra 5 kg. Kesimpulan: Pemberian intervensi Fisioterapi berupa latihan penguatan dan kontrol neuromuskular pada kasus pasca operasi ACL dan LCL Reconstruction Dextra terbukti dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot yang menurun, yang bisa memicu keluhan nyeri dan bisa berdampak pada keseimbangan dinamis satu kaki responden
