Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leader-member exchange (LMX) and coworker support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) directed to coworkers, and the mediating role of job satisfaction on these relationships. The respondents of this study were 156 employees who worked as salespeople in various industries in Surabaya. The results of testing using PLS-SEM show that LMX has a significant effect on OCB directed at coworkers, but coworker support does not significantly influence OCB directed at coworkers. LMX and coworker support have effects on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction affects OCB directed to coworkers. Job satisfaction mediates the influence of LMX and coworker support on OCB directed to coworkers. Based on these results, companies need to improve the quality of the relationship between supervisors and subordinates, and between coworkers, such as by conducting training activities for them.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan umat Paroki Santo Paulus Juanda Sidoarjo khususnya Ibu-Ibu dalam peningkatankan kemampuan public speaking, personal branding, dan grooming dalam pelayanan. Peserta yang mendaftar dalam kegiatan abdimas sebanyak 34 orang, namun yang hadir pada pertemuan pertama sebanyak 24 orang dan pertemuan kedua sebanyak 20orang. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan ini menunjukkan nilai 4.30 yang berarti baik sekali dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan, pemberi materi, dan fasilitas lainnya. Peserta nampak antusias, terlihat dari komen, masukan, dan keinginan pelatihan dengan topik lanjutan maupun lainnya.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh sumberdaya manusia yang memiliki etos kerja yang positif. Kegiatan penyuluhan etos kerja dilakukan pada Rabu 30 Januari pk 19.30-21.20. Jumlah peserta yang hadir adalah 9 orang OMK di Paroki Salib Suci Tropodo Surabaya. Peserta pengabdian masyarakat sangat antusias karena mengikuti diskusi dengan semangat.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kecerdasan finansial kaum muda di Kevikepan Surabaya Barat. Kegiatan ini diadakan pada Sabtu 20 Mei 2017. Kegiatan meningkatkan kecerdasan financial ini dilakukan dengan cara sharing pendapat, diskusi, presentasi, pemutaran film, ceramah, simulasi keuangan dan tanya jawab. Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tambahan wawasan mengenai penguatan kecerdasan finan sial kaum muda di kevikepan Surabaya Barat. Kegiatan ini mengundang 50 orang pemuda Katolik. Namun, karena ada acara yang diikuti sebelumnya, peserta yang hadir sebanyak 23 orang peserta. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan ini menunjukkan rata-rata 4.4 yang menunjukkan bahwa peserta menilai baik sekali dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan, pemberi materi dan fasilitas lainnya. Peserta nampak sangat antusias dan menganggap kegiatan ini bermanfaat hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil tanggapan pada kuisioner / form evaluasi

Abstract

This community service aims to provide additional knowledge-based and practical insights in becoming a business professional in terms of Public Speaking, special topics of Personal Branding and Grooming. Participants are alumni of the Management Department of the Faculty of Business, Widya Mandala, Surabaya. There were 10 participants who registered for the Community Service. However, 9 people attended the meeting. The results of the evaluation of this activity showed an average value of 4.44 which indicated that the participants rated it very well in providing training, providing material, and other facilities. The participants seemed enthusiastic, it was seen from their comments, input, and the desire for training with advanced and other topics.

Abstract

The purpose of the activity with the topic of service excellence includes providing counseling and consultation regarding providing excellent service, handling customer complaints, and using technology and social media to market products. Participants in the activity are small business owners in Surabaya who generally face marketing diffi-culties during the pandemic, including technology adoption, consisten-cy in meeting certain quality standards that allow customer complaints to arise, and lack of mastery in using social media to market products and serve consumers. This activity has been held online in March 2021 in two stages. The first stage is the provision of training in 3-day session through the zoom application, which is also broadcast on the YouTube channel. The second stage is the provision of consultation for eight days through the WhatsApp Group application

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of endorsers and social media advertising on consumer purchase decisions of Instagram social media users with brand awareness as a mediating variable. The research sample used in this study was 150 samples with a purposive sampling technique. The data used was primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to Instagram social media users. The data analysis technique used was SEM with Smart PLS 3 software. The results show that social media advertising has a significant effect on brand awareness, endorsers have no effect on brand awareness, brand awareness has a significant effect on consumer purchase decisions, social media advertising has a significant effect on consumer purchase decisions, endorsers have a significant effect on consumer purchase decisions, social media advertising has no effect on consumer purchase decisions through brand awareness, and endorsers have no effect on consumer purchase decisions through brand awareness.

Abstract

Generation Y or millennial generation was born in the 1980s to 2000s and therefore students of Pembangunan Jaya 2 Sidoarjo Senior High School belong to this millennial generation. At school, these millennial students only practice making finished goods without any training on entrepreneurship, which includes managerial skills, entrepreneurial management, and technopreneurship. The skills they have been learning so far have only been production-oriented, rather than entrepreneurial management-oriented. Therefore, the aim of this activity was to provide sustainable entrepreneurial skills (managerial and technopreneurship) to students of Pembangunan Jaya 2 Sidoarjo Senior High School. The method of activity included both theory and practice regarding managerial skills in entrepreneurial management, which covers (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) implementing, (4) controlling, (5) evaluating, (6) motivating and technopreneurship skills as a synergy process from a strong ability in the mastery of technology as well as a comprehensive understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship. The results of the activity show that managerial skills and understanding of technopreneurship in the process and formation of new businesses that involve technology as a basis can create appropriate strategies and innovations in pursuing entrepreneurship. In the long term, it is expected that managerial skills and understanding of technopreneurship will become one of the factors for national economic development.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan perubahan cara pemebelajaran dari luring menjadi daring. Perubahan ini memberi dampak positif dan negatif yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan dan kinerja mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengambil variabel workload dan self-motivation sebagai prediktor kepuasan dan kinerja mahasiswa selama menjalani proses pembelajaran daring. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan kuesioner melalui google form. Adapun responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 141 mahasiswa yang menjalani proses pembelajaran daring. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabiltas, dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa workload berpengaruh negative terhadap kepuasan namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja mahasiswa. Self-motivation berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan dan kinerja mahasiswa.
