Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the role of public relations in building the reputation of PT Cakrawala Dinamika Energi. This study uses the role theory of public relations (Cutlip 2002: 46) which consists of four roles, namely: communication technician, expert presciber, communication facilitator, and problem solving facilitator and the type of research used is qualitative research. The results of the study show that there are four public relations roles that support the implementation of the public relations role in building the reputation of PT Cakrawala Dinamika Energi, namely the first role of public relations as a communications technician is to build good communication between the public, internal, external and company partners, this is important to prevent adverse impact on the company's reputation in the event of a problem. Second, the role of public relations as an expert presiber is to liaise with a structured public relations department to communicate with the public if there are problems. Third, the role of public relations as a communication facilitator is as an intermediary who maintains a two-way flow of communication between the company and its public, including internal and external. And Fourth, problem solving facilitators in public relations must understand company policies, products, and procedures. The right communication strategy is needed so that the problem has a solution without hurting anyone's feelings.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of exploring self-potential to form a solid personality, teenagers will later experience marriage. Currently early marriage and infidelity is one of the factors causing divorce. With so many cases of divorce due to infidelity that occur based on true stories, the filmmakers made this story into a work through a media with the aim of being able to convey the moral message of the story of infidelity to the public, one of the series that was appointed, namely Series Mendua. Series Mendua tells about the problems of marriage. In this study, the researcher chose the perspective of adolescents as research subjects, so based on this background, the researcher raised the title "Youth Perceptions of Marriage Problems in the Double Series". The purpose of this study is to find out how adolescents perceive marital problems in the Mendua Series. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, and was analyzed based on the Hypodermic Needle theory. The results of the study show that the adolescent's perception of marital problems in the Mendua Series is a positive thing, namely a series that is accepted by society, provides lessons in running a household, with very professional roles. The average informant uses cellphone media, watches the telegram application. The message conveyed by Series Mendua in running a household is not to easily listen to other people's words, prove it to yourself if there is a problem and solve it immediately. Perceptions about Series Mendua that marriage is not only harmonious but also has marital problems such as infidelity, fights, domestic violence, lies, hatred and divorce.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the society perception on motor vehicle loss services at Police Department of Center of Bengkulu. Data are obtained by implementing several data collection techniques such as observation, interview, documentation and literature review. Data then analyzed by using perception pattern theory by Bitner according to 3 main elements such as stimuli, organism and response. The result of the research shows that 1) Central of Bengkulu police station has become good information source, it gives good information about report. Society think that the officer has served people when they want to make a call by giving detail information so society can understand the steps and administrative steps in making a report. 3) society perception is different, some people said that the loss report service has good while the other said the service is slow. It can be found from the data from investigation of motor vehicle loss, from 2022-2023, from 5 loss motorcycles, only 1 which can be found. Because of that reason, it can affect society’s perception. From the writer’s observation, the process is slow because it needs to passed through of several investigation. The problem from police department is because there is no CCTV at the loss area and the vehicle has no equipment. When the motorcycle is found, the police department is not giving it back to its owner but has to complete the council process to find out the stealer network at the center of Bengkulu.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa penggalian potensi diri untuk membentuk kepribadian yang mantap, remaja nantinya akan mengalami pernikahan. Saat ini pernikahan dini dan perselingkuhan merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab perceraian. Dengan banyaknya kasus perceraian karena perselingkuhan yang terjadi berdasarkan kisah nyata, membuat para sineas mengangkat kisah ini menjadi suatu karya melalui sebuah media dengan tujuan agar dapat menyampaikan pesan moral dari kisah perselingkuhan kepada masyarakat, salah satu series yang diangkat yaitu Series Mendua. Series Mendua menceritakan adanya problematika pernikahan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti memilih sudut pandang remaja sebagai subyek penelitian sehingga berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti mengangkat judul “Persepsi Remaja tentang Problematika Pernikahan dalam Series Mendua”. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi remaja tentang problematika pernikahan dalam Series Mendua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dan dianalisis berdasarkan teori Jarum Hipodermik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi remaja tentang problematika pernikahan dalam Series Mendua ini merupakan suatu hal yang positif yaitu sebuah series yang diterima oleh masyarakat, memberikan pelajaran dalam menjalankan rumah tangga, dengan peran pemeran yang sangat profesional. Rata-rata informan menggunakan media handphone, menonton aplikasi telegram. Pesan yang disampaikan Series Mendua dalam menjalankan rumah tangga jangan mudah mendengarkan kata orang lain, buktikan dengan diri sendiri jika ada permasalahan dan langsung diselesaikan. Persepsi tentang Series Mendua bahwa dalam pernikahan tidak hanya harmonis tetapi juga memiliki problematika pernikahan seperti perselingkuhan, pertengkaran, KDRT, kebohongan, kebencian dan perceraian.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze Interpersonal Communication in Creating Sakinah Families. Study of Couples in Early Marriage in Teramang Jaya District, Muko Muko Regency. empathy), support (supportiveness), positiveness (positiveness), equality (equality), the results of this study show Interpersonal Communication in Creating Sakinah Families Study of Early Marriage Couples in Teramang Jaya District, Muko Muko Regency. This can be seen from the way they convey family problems openly. A sense of empathy, husband and wife couples have high empathy for husband and wife seen from the way they understand problems in the family as well as some couples in Early Age Marriage in Teramang Jaya Subdistrict provide support to husband and wife for the problems they are experiencing. Support, husband and wife give each other support in communicating, seen from the couple as communicants receive information and provide suggestions that are supportive of information from the wife. Positive feelings, positive feelings in interpersonal communication for early age couples are still not well established. However, this couple tries to convey information clearly and accommodates suggestions and criticisms from partners positively. Equality, husband and wife as communicators respect all opinions of both regardless of the problems faced, so that there is equality in communicating without prioritizing personal ego.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Public Relations Strategy of PT Sari Melati Kencana in strengthening the Brand Image of Pizza Hut Bengkulu. This research uses PR Strategy theory which includes operational strategy, educational persuasive approach, social responsibility approach to public relations and PR, cooperative approach, and coordinative or integrative approach. And the type of research used is qualitative research. The results of this research show that PT Sari Melati Kencana's public relations in strengthening the brand image of Pizza Hut Bengkulu depicts a holistic and integrated effort. An operational strategy that prioritizes a social approach, a persuasive and educational approach that creates educational and persuasive communication, a public relations social responsibility approach that responds quickly to complaints and maintains product quality, a cooperative approach that fosters internal and external harmonious relationships, and a coordinative or integrative approach which makes a positive contribution to increasing community support, customer loyalty and strengthening a positive image. Overall, a PR strategy that includes these aspects has succeeded in having a positive impact on the image and popularity of Pizza Hut Bengkulu, creating positive relationships with customers and strengthening their position in the culinary industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the interpersonal communication of Batak family in Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap movie. The method used is qualitative because it is related to the semiotic approach. The results of this study show that the results of the research analysis show that interpersonal communication in the family is important and seen in interpersonal communication in the film has respect (respect) in the movie Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap, namely listening to each other what others are talking about, empathy (feeling), namely the attitude shown by family members who are feeling what other people feel, especially family members, audible (understood), namely the way the prospective son-in-law is understood by his prospective in-laws, clarity (openness), namely the attitude of openness with family members so as not to cause misunderstanding, and Humble (humble), namely the attitude of the head of the family apologizing with his family members.

Abstract

Song lyrics are verbal symbols created by humans. In expressing their experiences, songwriters play with words and language to create appeal and distinctiveness to their lyrics or verses (Awe, 2003:51). Twice's Feel Special depicts the importance of valuing oneself and finding happiness within oneself, without relying on the validation or recognition of others. It also describes feelings of doubt and uncertainty about one's worth. Therefore, the background explains that the song Feel Special has received many positive responses from fans and music critics. This Feel Special song remains relevant today because its message about self-worth is something that is relatable to many people. This song can be a source of strength and inspiration for those who are feeling a loss of confidence. This research uses a qualitative research method with van dijk's discourse analysis approach. This analysis focuses on the macro and micro structure of the song text, as well as the social context and social cognition. The results show that the lyrics of the song Feel Special contain the meaning of the importance of loving oneself and accepting one's shortcomings, as well as telling the story of a person who feels insecure and insecure, then he learns to become more confident. This message is conveyed through various discourse strategies, such as text, social cognition and social context. The meaning of this song can help its listeners to increase their self-confidence and self-acceptance.
