Abstract

Post Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a shift in student behavior at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Wates, including an increase in smoking behavior, recorded at 74.6%, and reproductive health issues such as premarital sex. This highlights the need to initiate school programs that can address student character issues. Community service was conducted through an initiation program to establish a Self-Awareness Unit (UKD), with the aim of increasing student knowledge about the dangers of smoking and the prevention of premarital sex, as well as preparing teachers and students as UKD cadres. The community service implementation method included health screening training for teachers and students acting as UKD cadres, and health education to prevent smoking and premarital sex. In addition, an introduction to the role and function of the UKD was conducted as a forum to increase students' self-awareness regarding the importance of consultations on character, interests, talents, and personal health. The results of the community service showed a significant increase in the understanding and skills of teachers and school cadres in conducting health screening. After the training, 87.55% of participants showed an increase in knowledge about the dangers and prevention of smoking and premarital sex.

Abstract

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) dapat menimbulkan gejala fisik maupun gejala psikologis remaja, hal ini bergantung pada perilaku koping yang diterapkan. Perilaku koping adaptif mengurangi dampak negatif PMS, sebaliknya perilaku koping maladaptif memperburuk gejala serta dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Diketahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku koping premenstrual syndrome (PMS) pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Yogyakarta. Desain penelitian metode analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian 136 responden kelas XI dan XII dengan teknik Simple random sampling. Peneliti menggunakan kuesioner Pengetahuan Premenstrual Syndrome (KPPMS) dan Kuesioner Perilaku Koping PMS. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Koefisien Kontingensi dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan PMS cukup (63,2%) dan perilaku koping PMS maladaptif (54,4%). Hasil uji analisis menunjukkan nilai p=0,911 (p >0,05), bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku koping PMS pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Yogyakarta. Kesimpulan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku koping PMS pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Yogyakarta, namun terdapat beberapa faktor seperti faktor ekononi dan riwayat penyakit ginekologi perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi koping perilaku PMS.

Abstract

Nursing competence refers to the ability and skills of nurses to understand others and handle various situations, including the ability to assess, communicate, and provide care. Competencies exist at different levels for nursing students in clinical practice. The study aims to determine the effect of the nursing self-management competency module on the implementation of self-competency in clinical practice nursing student. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research variables included the nursing self-management competency module and self-competence in maternity clinical practice. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling and divided into two groups: an intervention group and a control group, each consisting of 15 nursing students undergoing clinical practice. The intervention group received the nursing competency management module, while the control group followed routine formal procedures in the clinic. Data analysis was using the Mann-Whitney. The results showed that the majority of respondents in the control group had sufficient pretest competence, with 14 (93.3%) achieving this level, and the majority in the posttest also had sufficient competence, with 13 (86.7%). In contrast, the intervention group had sufficient pretest competence with 8 (53.3%) and high posttest competence with 11 (73.3%) with a p-value of 0.037, indicating that there is a significant effect of the nursing self-competency management module on the application of self-competency among nursing professional students during hospital maternity clinical practice. Conclusion: The nursing self-competency management module has a positive effect on the application of self-competency among nursing professional students during clinical practice.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach to improve the collaboration skills and learning outcomes of grade VII-A students at Labschool Junior High School 2 of the State University of Surabaya on the topic of human reproductive systems. The method used is qualitative descriptive, where the researcher describes the students’ collaboration skills and learning outcomes. Students’ collaboration skills increased by 4%, from an average of 83% in cycle I to 87% in cycle II. Peer assessment of collaboration increased by 10%, from 73% in cycle I to 83% in cycle II. Student learning outcomes showed an increase, with the completion criteria rising from 58% in cycle I to 77% in cycle II. These findings demonstrate that the PBL learning model and the TaRL approach are effective in enhancing collaboration skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pemberian ASI sangat penting diberikan pada bayi terutama pada periode awal bayi baru lahir yaitu pada 1.000 hari kehidupan pertamanya yang disebut dengan ASI eksklusif. Hambatan penerapan pemberian ASI eksklusif salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan pada ibu. Berdasarkan data Dinkes Kota Yogyakarta tahun 2021 capaian ASI eksklusifnya hanya 52,7%. Puskesmas Umbulharjo 1 merupakan salah satu peskesmas yang ada di Kota Yogyakarta dengan tingkat cakupan ASI eksklusif paling rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi usia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Umbulharjo 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang digunakan adalah 391 ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 6-24 bulan yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerja puskesmas. Sampel berjumlah 88 ibu dengan kriteria inklusi bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Umbulharjo 1; tidak mengonsumsi suplemen ASI tambahan; dan tidak memiliki riwayat sakit menular yang mempengaruhi ASI seperti HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B dan C yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis statistik data penelitian menggunakan kendall’s tau. Hasil uji korelasi nilai signifikasi tingkat pendidikan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah 0,061 > 0.005 menunjukkan keeratan korelasi 0,191 sangat lemah dan arah hubungan positif. Diputuskan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Tingkat pendidikan tidak melulu menjadi tolak ukur berhasil atau tidaknya pemberian ASI eksklusif, oleh sebab itu alangkah lebih baiknya yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah tingkat kesadaran dari ibu sejak ibu dinyatakan hamil untuk mempersiapkan kebutuhan penting bayi yaitu pemberian ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the online taa'ruf process through social media that is run by the Biro Jodoh Rumaysho (BJR) and at the same time the reciprocal relationship between managers and participants. Basically, this is a field research, however, in extracting the data, it relies a lot on the internet, so this research can also be categorized as a netnographic study. The results of this study indicate that the Rumaysho Matchmaking Bureau has facilitated many people who want to find a life partner through the stages of ta'aruf. These services are carried out online through social media, such as Instagram, Facebook, and also the Website. The success rate of ta'aruf with this model is relatively high because it has been filtered based on the criteria desired by each potential partner. The ta'aruf process which is carried out in this way has led to a social phenomenon in society which makes ta'aruf a religious and also economic spirit, both for implementing agencies and participants where there is mutuality between the two.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji proses taa’ruf secara online yang dijalankan oleh Biro Jodoh Rumaysho dan sekaligus hubungan timbal balik antara pengelola dengan peserta. Pada dasarnya ini merupakan penelitian lapangan namun dalam penggalian datanya banyak bergantung pada internet sehingga penelitian ini juga bisa dikategorikan sebagai studi netnografi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Biro Jodoh Rumaysho telah banyak memfasilitasi masyarakat yang ingin mencari pasangan hidup melalui tahapan ta’aruf. Layanan tersebut dilakukan secara daring melalui media sosial, seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan juga Website. Tingkat keberhasilan ta’aruf dengan model ini relatif tinggi karena telah dilakukan penyaringan berdasarkan kriteria yang diinginkan oleh masing-masing calon pasangan. Proses ta’aruf yang dilakukan dengan cara demikian telah memunculkan fenomena sosial masyarakat yang menjadikan ta’aruf sebagai spirit keagamaan dan juga ekonomi, baik untuk lembaga pelaksana maupun peserta yang mana terjadi mutualan di antara keduanya.

Abstract

In the 21st century teachers face big challenges on how to implement technological developments into the learning process, so that students become more competent and able to compete according to the times. Assessment in the teaching and learning process is a process for making decisions based on information obtained from measuring learning outcomes. One of the online-based assessments is Quizizz. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of developing material problems on life organizational systems using the quizizz application and to describe the product developed after the process of theoretical and empirical validity. This research uses the ADDIE development model which stands for Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. After that, the questions based on quizzes that had been developed were tested for theoretical and empirical validity. Based on the theoretical analysis conducted by expert validators, an average score of 94.64% was obtained with very good criteria. The results of the empirical validity analysis showed that out of 20 items there were 7 valid questions and 13 invalid questions, the reliability value was 0.583 with moderate criteria, discriminating power with an average of 0.343, moderate difficulty level, and good deception function.
