Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on the effectiveness and efficiency in organizational management, including within the Muhammadiyah Branch Executive (PCM) of Batam Kota District. However, in its operations, there are still obstacles in data management, information delivery, and reporting activities that are still carried out manually. Therefore, this research aims to develop a website-based organizational information system digitization application that can help in managing information and administration in a more structured and efficient manner. The system development method used is the Waterfall model approach which consists of several stages, namely needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The analysis stage is carried out by collecting data through interviews and observations to understand the needs of the system. The designing stage involves the design of the system, database, and user interface. Implementation is carried out by building applications using the Laravel Framework which has an MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture for more structured code management. Data storage is carried out using a MySQL database which allows for faster and organized information management. After that, the testing stage is applied to ensure that the system runs according to the specifications that have been determined. The results of the study show that the application developed can increase efficiency in the management of Batam City PCM administration such as recording member data, activity schedules, and automatic report making. Testing of the system using the Black Box Testing method shows that the application works well without any functional errors. With this application, it is hoped that PCM Batam Kota can be more optimal in managing the organization and conveying information to its members effectively.

Abstract

The determination of the composition of personnel in an organization, especially in the activities of the Branch Conference (Musran) of the Muhammadiyah Branch Executive of Belian Village, is still done manually and tends to be subjective. This has the potential to cause inefficiencies and internal conflicts in the decision-making process. This research aims to develop a web-based decision support system (SPK) that can help the management selection process objectively by using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The TOPSIS method was chosen because it is able to provide the best alternative ratings based on its proximity to positive and negative ideal solutions. The five main criteria used in decision-making include: organizational experience, level of education, loyalty to the organization, leadership, and availability of time. The system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of the implementation show that the system is able to produce recommendations for a more systematic, transparent, and accountable management structure. With this TOPSIS-based SPK, the deliberation process can run faster and more efficiently without eliminating the principle of democracy in the organization. This research is expected to be an innovative solution in adaptive and sustainable information technology-based organizational governance.

Abstract

It is known that configuring system information and event management (SIEM) infrastructure using conventional virtualization still provides essential functions. However, if a problem occurs such as a configuration error during the staging process or application service failure, the recovery process from the error requires quite a long time. This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of container technology in the SIEM Infrastructure using the Wazuh platform. The analysis focuses on a Docker-based architecture running Wazuh's core components: the wazuh-indexer, wazuh-manager, and wazuh-dashboard, each in its own container. This approach is evaluated to see how containerization affects SIEM effectiveness and efficiency, particularly in resource utilization and fault recovery. Performance testing carried out on systems using Docker Containers shows lower Memory and CPU usage compared to Conventional Virtualization. The results demonstrate that Docker not only enhances resource efficiency but also improves system resilience, directly impacting SIEM operational functionality.

Abstract

In the digital era, the use of technology in learning evaluation is a necessity to improve the efficiency and objectivity of assessment. This research aims to develop a passing grade-based e-assessment application that allows automatic assessment of student exam results. The system is designed to provide real-time feedback and increase transparency in the academic evaluation process. Application development is carried out using the Agile Software Development approach, which allows for iterative software development with continuous updates based on user feedback. The case study was conducted in the Software Engineering Technology Study Program at the Batam State Polytechnic to test the effectiveness of the system in improving the quality of learning evaluation. The test results show that this application is able to increase the efficiency of the assessment process by reducing the time of manual exam correction and increasing accuracy in grading. Then the passing grade system helps students to understand the achievement of their competencies more clearly and encourages them to improve their understanding of lecture materials. With the implementation of this application, it is hoped that educational institutions can adopt a more flexible and adaptive technology-based evaluation system. The results of this research can be used as a reference in the development of e-assessment systems in other academic environments.

Abstract

This study explores aircraft image classification using MobileNetV2 combined with Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping (Grad-CAM) for model interpretability. A dataset of 1,500 balanced images—helicopters, propeller aircraft, and jets—was split into training, validation, and testing sets with data augmentation to reduce overfitting. Transfer learning with pre-trained MobileNetV2 achieved an accuracy of 87.56%, with macro-average precision and recall of 85.76% and 87.69%. Grad-CAM visualizations confirmed that correct predictions relied on distinctive features such as rotor blades, propellers, and engines, while misclassifications often stemmed from background distractions or less discriminative areas. These findings demonstrate the potential of lightweight architectures for small-scale datasets and highlight the value of Explainable AI in validating deep learning models. The study provides a practical reference for educational contexts and offers directions for future work with larger datasets.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi saat ini perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berkembang sangat pesat sebagaimana yang diketahui. Perkembangan tersebut tidak hanya di wilayah perkotaan saja, melainkan sampai menyentuh ke wilayah pedesaan. Begitu juga pada Kelurahan Pulau Buluh, Kecamatan Bulang, Kota Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau yang dalam rutinitasnya memiliki tugas pokok dan fungsi dalam melaksanakan menjalankan kebijakan pemerintahan, keamanan dan ketertiban dengan berbagai tugas yang diemban seperti pengurusan administrasi yang meliputi surat pernyataan penguasaan tanah, surat keterangan tanah, ahli waris, surat keterangan kematian, surat keterangan kelahiran, keterangan pindah dan pada pelayanan pengaduan dan sebagainya. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, dalam melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya tersebut, kantor kelurahan pulau buluh belum mempunyai sistem informasi yang dapat menunjang kegiatan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. karena semua sistem masih dilakukan secara manual dengan berbasis kertas. Maka diperlukan suatu Sistem Informasi Kelurahaan yang dapat digunakan dalam mengelola pengarsipan serta menjaga data-data administrasi kependudukan agar dapat dikelola untuk jangka panjang. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan suatu langkah dalam upaya membantu pihak pegawai di Kelurahan Pulau Buluh dalam perancangan suatu Sistem Informasi Kelurahan yang diterapkan dalam bentuk website berbasis OpenSID. Adapun luaran hasil akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu terbangunnya suatu aplikasi sistem informasi kelurahan website berbasis OpenSID serta luaran-luaran penting dalam mempublikasikan hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini kepada khalayak umum.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test and compare the performance of the ELECTRE method with MOORA in decision making. By using the attribute weighting process, namely the calculation of Information Gain in both methods, the attribute weights are obtained systematically and objectively, therefore they are no longer determined by the assumptions of decision makers. The test data instrument used is a dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, namely the Fertility Dataset which is data on the level of sperm fertility concentration with 100 data records, 9 attributes, 1 class variable and the data set is multivariate. The results of testing the ELECTRE and MOORA methods in this study indicate that the two methods have differences in the results of ranking the best alternative for sperm fertility concentration levels. The ELECTRE method produces A2 as the best alternative, while the MOORA method produces A16 as the best alternative. Then in terms of program execution time, the MOORA method is faster, namely 0.02 seconds, while the ELECTRE method execution time is 1.88 seconds.

Abstract

Home Ownership Credit (KPR) is the process of buying a house by way of credit or installments for a certain period of time and a determined interest rate. Problems that often arise in the process of granting mortgages are when providing an analysis of recommendations for the suitability of a house, such as credit analysis errors which often result in bad credit payments and disrupt the fund circulation system between credit payments and receivables. Billing. In addition, there is no filter in determining the eligibility of providing credit computerized, the system is equipped with a decision support system that can describe the supporting factors that are used as a calculation weight in making decisions on determining home ownership loans for those who deserve to receive them. To analyze the feasibility of providing home ownership loans, a decision support system is needed that can provide a good analysis to determine the creditworthiness of home ownership with the VIKOR method and the Entropy method. The Entropy method is applied to determine the weight of each criterion and the VIKOR method is used to rank alternatives. Based on the results of the study, the VIKOR method and the Entropy weighting method can provide recommendations for providing home ownership loans to eligible customers based on specified criteria. The ranking results were obtained by testing variations in the VIKOR index value with the best alternative result, namely A3 (3rd Alternative). And the Entropy method produces objective and proportional criteria weights and obtains valid criteria weights without having to give criteria weights manually or subjectively, so it is useful for determining the weight of criteria that need not be doubted about their validity.

Abstract

Abstract: Project-Based Learning is a type of learning that is quite widely recommended today, especially in vocational type institutions where the learning is effective in the aim of involving students with direct learning content. The process of evaluating project-based learning on project teams in the performance assessment of each team to rank the order of best performance of all teams is still assessed based on subjective assessments. To overcome these problems, in this study the performance measurement of the project-based learning team by applying the VIKOR method and Rank Order Centroid in conducting assessments with test samples, namely in the Introduction to Database course. The test results obtained based on the calculation of VIKOR and Rank Order Centroid, namely PBL-TRPL01 Team 1 as the best alternative by obtaining based on variations of testing the VIKOR index value with values v=0.4, v=0.5, and v=0.6. Thus, it can be seen that the VIKOR and Rank Order Centroid methods can be applied to the calculation process of measuring team performance in project-based learning.            Keywords: decision Support System; project-based learning; rank order centroid; VIKOR Abstrak: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek merupakan jenis pembelajaran yang cukup banyak direkomendasikan di masa kini khususnya pada institusi berjenis vokasional. Pembelajaran tersebut efektif dalam tujuan melibatkan para peserta didik dengan konten pembelajaran secara langsung. Proses evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada tim proyek dalam penilaian performa dari masing-masing tim untuk memeringkatkan urutan performa terbaik dari seluruh tim masih dinilai berdasarkan penilaian secara subyektif. Untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut, pada penelitian ini pengukuran performa tim project-based learning dengan menerapkan metode VIKOR dan Rank Order Centroid dalam melakukan penilaian dengan sampel pengujian yaitu pada mata kuliah Pengantar Basis Data. Hasil pengujian yang diperoleh berdasarkan perhitungan VIKOR dan Rank Order Centroid yaitu bahwa alternatif PBL-TRPL01 Tim 1 sebagai alternatif terbaik dengan peroleh berdasarkan variasi pengujian nilai indeks VIKOR. Maka dengan demikian, dapat diketahui bahwa metode VIKOR dan Rank Order Centroid dapat diterapkan pada proses perhitungan pengukuran performa tim pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis proyek; rank order centroid; sistem pendukung keputusan; VIKOR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem untuk melakukan deteksi dini terhadap penyakit mata khususnya pada gejala rabun pada mata. Sebab, mata merupakan salah satu panca indra pada manusia yang sangat penting perannya dalam kehidupan manusia yang apabila mengalami gangguan akan berakibat sangat fatal. Dengan berkembangnya pesatnya teknologi serta kemudahan akses terhadap informasi dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat umum tentang penyakit rabun pada mata yaitu rabun dekat (hyperopia) dan rabun jauh (myopia). Penulis mencoba memberikan salah satu solusi yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mendeteksi secara dini penyakit rabun mata khususnya hyperopia dan myopia dengan menerapkan aplikasi berbasis website berdasarkan gejala yang dialami oleh pengguna. Pada penelitian ini penulis menerapkan metode sistem pakar yaitu Certainty Factor pada sistem yang dibangun untuk menghitung nilai probabilitas hasil deteksi penyakit hyperopia dan myopia dengan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu metode certainty factor mampu dalam melakukan perhitungan probabilitas dari gejala-gejala yang dipilih oleh pengguna dalam menghasilkan kategori jenis penyakit rabun mata sesuai dengan yang dialami oleh pengguna aplikasi.
