Polibatam press bergerak dalam bidang usaha penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum yang merupakan hasil karya dari civitas akademik Politeknik Negeri Batam. Sejak berdirinya Polibatam Press belum memiliki prosedur yang baku mengenai penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum. Pembahasan mengenai prosedur ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses implementasi penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum di Polibatam Press. Metode yang digunakan berupa analisis diskriptif, penulis mengumpulkan data yang diperoleh dari perusahaan berupa dokumen dan keterangan yang diberikan perusahaan mengenai prosedur penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum, selanjutnya penulis akan menguraikan secara rinci proses penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa prosedur penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum di Polibatam Press terdiri dari kegiatan yaitu sales order dari penulis, administrasi (Down Payment/DP), penyerahan naskah, design sampul atau re-layout, proofreading penulis, proses revisi setelah proofreading dari penulis (bila ada yg di revisi), proses proofreading akhir penulis (apabila sudah bebas koreksi, lanjut ke-), pengajuan ISBN, pendaftaran Perpusnas RI, proses cetak dummy buku dan proses cetak massal, serta penyelesaian administrasi.

Tahun 2000 perguruan tinggi di Batam mulai tumbuh. Sejak itu juga berbagai gagasan dan karya ilmiah dihasilkan oleh berbagai perguruan tinggi di Batam. Penyebarluasan gagasan dan karya ilmiah tersebut membutuhkan dukungan penerbit buku yang handal. Polibatam Press adalah entitas Politeknik Negeri Batam di bidang penerbitan. Berbagai strategi digunakan untuk memajukan Polibatam Press antara lain perekrutan sumber daya manusia dari mahasiswa aktif, penyusunan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) untuk pelayanan konsumen, produksi dan quality control, dan sebagainya. Pada tahun 2019, Polibatam Press telah menghasilkan 10 (sepuluh) buku ber-ISBN dan berbagai produk lain seperti seminar kit. Dengan adanya Polibatam Press ini, juga diperoleh tambahan pendapatan dan tersediaan bahan ajar dan modul praktikum untuk Politeknik Negeri Batam.

Abstrak: Sejak tahun 2000 perguruan tinggi di Batam mulai tumbuh. Sejak itu juga berbagai gagasan dan karya ilmiah dihasilkan oleh berbagai perguruan tinggi di Batam. Penyebarluasan gagasan dan karya ilmiah tersebut membutuhkan dukungan penerbit buku yang handal. Polibatam Press adalah entitas Politeknik Negeri Batam di bidang penerbitan. Berbagai strategi digunakan untuk memajukan Polibatam Press antara lain perekrutan sumber daya manusia dari mahasiswa aktif, penyusunan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) untuk pelayanan konsumen, produksi dan quality control, pemanfaatan marketplace sebagai sarana pemasaran, serta pembangunan sistem informasi guna otomasi proses penerbitan buku. Sampai dengan tahun 2021, Polibatam Press telah menghasilkan lebih dari 50 judul buku ber-ISBN dan berbagai jenis produk lain. Selain itu, dihasilkan pula berbagai produk HKI, merek dagang dan beberapa artikel tulisan pada seminar dan jurnal. Untuk Politeknik Negeri Batam sendiri, dengan adanya Polibatam Press ini, didapatkan juga tambahan pendapatan.Abstract: Since the year 2000 higher educations in Batam has start growing. Since then, ideas and academic writings have been produced by those higher education institutions. The dissemination of ideas and academic writings require a reliable publisher. Polibatam Press is Politeknik Negeri Batam’s entity in publishing. Different strategies have been implemented to improve Polibatam Press, such as human resource recruitment from active students of Politeknik Negeri Batam, establishment of Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) for production and quality control, marketing through variety of marketplaces, and the development of an information system to support publishing process automation. Until 2021, Polibatam Press has published more than 50 books with ISBN and other products. Moreover, Polibatam Press also produces several Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), trademark, and several seminar and journal papers. For Politeknik Negeri Batam itself, Polibatam Press is able to gain additional revenue.

Abstrak: Tujuan jangka pendek dari kegiatan PPUPIK Polibatam Press ini yaitu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen internal Politeknik Negeri Batam berupa ketersediaan buku ajar dan modul praktikum. Sedangkan tujuan jangka panjangnya adalah menghasilkan berbagai produk, tidak hanya berupa buku ajar maupun modul praktikum saja, namun juga akan menyediakan berbagai jasa cetak lainnya. Metode pelakasanaan kegiatan ini seperti perusahaan penerbit buku pada umumnya. Beberapa faktor kendala atau penghambat yang dialami terutama terkait dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 sehingga menurunkan daya beli dan menurunkan produktivitas dari para penulis. Untuk menunjang pemasaran selama masa pandemi tersebut, selain melalui media sosial seperti tahun pertama, Polibatam Press telah melakukan pemasaran melalui marketplace Tokopedia, Bukalapak, blibli, Lazada dan Google Play Book. Namun demikian, terdapat pula faktor pendukung yang dapat dimanfaatkan, antara lain dengan munculnya produk baru berupa e-book sebanyak 20 judul dan diminati dalam masa pandemi ini. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PPUPIK selanjutnya, perlu dilaksanakan langkah-langkah strategis yang telah direncanakan terutama untuk menghadapi keadaan new normal dalam masa pandemi Covid-19 sehingga produksi e-book serta pemanfaatan marketplace perlu terus dikembangkan, selain terus melakukan sosialisasi diantaranya melalui webinar yang dilaksanakan oleh Politeknik Negeri Batam sehingga dapat mencapai civitas akademika di luar Polibatam.Abstract: The short-term objective of the PPUPIK Polibatam Press program is to fulfill the demands of textbooks and practicum modules from internal consumers at Politeknik Negeri Batam. Furthermore, the long-term goal is to produce a variety of products, not only in the form of textbooks and practicum modules, but also to provide various other printing services. The method of implementing this activity is like a book publishing entity in general. Some of the constraints or obstacles experienced were mainly related to the Covid-19 pandemic, which reduced purchasing power and decreased the productivity of the writers. To support marketing during the pandemic, in addition to social media such as the first year, Polibatam Press also operate marketing through digital marketplaces, namely Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Blibli, Lazada and Google Play Book. However, there are also supporting factors that can be utilized, including the emergence of a new product in the form of e-book as many as 20 titles, which is in good demand during this pandemic. In the next implementation of PPUPIK program, it is necessary to perform strategic steps that have been planned, especially to adapt with the new normal situation during the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore e-book production and marketplace marketing need to be continuously developed. In addition, socialization through webinars held by Politeknik Negeri Batam is also continued, so that Polibatam Press can reach the academic community outside Polibatam.

Ada beberapa model query yang digunakan untuk mengakses data pada 2 tabel atau lebih dalam basis data relasi. Dua model query yang umum antara lain adalah cross product dan subset query, dimana kedua model ini dapat menghasilkan data yang sama. Namun perlu diperhatikan cara mana yang lebih optimal sehingga pada akhirnya didapatkan query dengan waktu akses yang paling minimum. Dengan menggunakan basis data Oracle 10g Express Edition akan dilakukan penelitian untuk mencari model query yang lebih optimal dengan metode cost-based. Parameter yang akan dibandingkan adalah harga/biaya dan waktu yang dihasilkan pada perencanaan eksekusi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengelompokkan uji data seperti jumlah data, jumlah relasi, akses tabel penuh atau sebagian dan pengindeksan.

The number of tourists and the fame of a long sand beach is still lacking, therefore it is necessary to introduce to the public about the beauty and marine products that are owned on Pasir Panjang beaches. This service community was carried out to socialize the benefits of marine products through training in making Pempek in the Pasir Panjang Coastal Village. We have carried out this service with the Partner of RW 03 Pasir Panjang, Pasir Panjang Village, Rempang Cate District on Friday, July 27, 2018. The questionnaire results of Speaker questionnaire with a Likert Scale, equipment and Room were found that the interpretation score from all observation was all worth 100% and include in the interval category very well, which meant that it was rated very well by 18 respondents. While for the consumption questionnaire the interpretation of the score of the observations is worth 95.556% and is included in the interval category Very Well which means it is rated very well by 18 Respondents. The results of monitoring on October 22, 2018 were obtained information that there were residents who had made Pempek and sold in Pasir Panjang environments, while production and sales had stopped due to constraints Limited fishing results. The results of the questionnaire obtained the most suggestions for further training to hold Crafts, other input so that the training activities continued. The development of information technology that is fast and easy to use, allows someone to quickly publish certain objects. Information technology also contributes to the introduction and existence of an area that has tourism potential. If the tourism potential of an area is not carried out properly and correctly, it will not be known by many people. As the island of Mubut should be able to do. Mubut Island, which has a lot of potentials, can be a promotional tool to attract local and foreign tourists, especially tourism. One of the problems that arise from tourism management lies in the lack of good promotional strategies and the absence of clear and accurate sources of information about the potential of Mubut island tourism. Utilizing a website as a promotional medium is a good choice to achieve this. Therefore, in this service activity, we will build a website that can later be used as a means of promotion and training will be conducted in managing website content for the operator appointed as the person in charge of the website.

Mubut Island needs to carry out promotional activities through social media, not only conventionally by word of mouth. This is done so that the Pulau Mubut Tourism Village is increasingly known and visited by many people. Considering the age of the managers and their activity, as well as the target of visitors from Mubut Island, it was decided that the promotional media that was optimized in 2022 was Facebook social media. Because in the future it will be the managers who will manage the promotional media for this Tourism Village, it is important to train these managers to be able and proficient in optimizing their Facebook social media. The training activities will be evaluated by measuring the managers's ability to optimize the Facebook media of Mubut Island. As a result, the managers was able to optimize the promotional activities of Mubut Island through social media Facebook, namely by looking at the manager's activity in posting and the increasing number followers.

One of the promotional media of Mubut Island, that website, has been completed at the Batam State Polytechnic service activity in 2021. As a follow-up to this activity, the 2022 service needs to optimize the website promotion media which is also planned to be implemented in 2022. Because it will be the manager who will manage this website in the future, it is essential to train them so they can and are proficient in optimizing it. Website optimization will be done using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. First, the training will bring in an SEO practitioner. In addition, learning videos will also be made involving Project Based Learning (PBL) students. This learning media will also be given as an investment in knowledge in the future if something is forgotten. Website analytic data will be collected using the HiStats tool during this optimization. As an evaluation material for this service activity, the manager's ability to optimize the website will be reviewed by looking at the condition of the website after the training. In addition, it analyzes the improvement of website visitors before vs after optimization. The result is the website to be at the top of search engines, and the number of visitors to the Mubut Island tourist village website will increase significantly.
