Abstract

This study aims to 1) knowing whether there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and description writing skills; 2) knowing there is a relationship between writing interest and description writing skills; 3) knowing whether there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and writing interest together with descriptive writing skills. This research uses survey correlational study method. The population of this study were students of class V SD in Laweyan District, 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that 1) there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and the skill of writing descriptions of r count (0.72), the correlation coefficient was tested by t test, the results of tcount (10.36)> t table (1.66); 2) there is a significant relationship between writing interest and writing skills description r count (0.42), the correlation coefficient was tested by t test, the results of t count (4,63)> t table (1.66); 3) there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and interest in writing along with descriptive writing skills ry12 of (0.85), the coefficient of significance with the F test is obtained Fcount = 136,47> Ftable = 3.09

Abstract

This research servers as an effort to improve student’s reading comprehension skills through the application of the Cooperative Script model for student 5th grade of elementary school student at Surakarta on 2019/2020 school year. The subject of this study were 19 students from 5th grade of elementary school and class teacher. This research is a classroom action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods used are observation, test, interview, and document analysist. This study uses descriptive data analysist with a qualitative approach that describe data obtained by researchers from the result of the implementation of the action. This study found success in increasing the average value from cycle I to cycle II, the average value of cycle I was 71,73 with classical completeness 36,84%, increasing in cycle II that was 85,18 with classical completeness 89,47%. The output of this study indicated that by applying the Cooperative Script learning model can improve student’ reading comprehension skill, student activity, and teacher performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) whether there is a relationship between mastery of literary literacy and  write children’s story; 2) the relationship of interest to learn with the ability to write children’s story; (3) the relationship between mastery literary literacy and interst to learn with the ability to write children’s story. The method used is the survey correlational method. The sample is 4 elementary schools, totaling 112 students. Data collection using tests and questionnaires. The ability to write children story is used in the form of a composing test instrument, an instrument of interest to learn used in the form of a questionnaire, mastering literary literacy of data variables obtained with choice test. Data were analyzed using simple correlation and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a significant relationship between literary literacy mastery with the ability to write children storyr rcount (0,98)> rtable (0,192), the correlation coefficient tested by t test, the results of tcount (65,08)> ttable (1.98); (2) there is significant the relationship between interest to learn and write children story ability price r count (0,99)> r table (0,185), the correlation coefficient is tested by t test, the ttcount (65.08)> Table (1.98); (3) there is a significant correlation between literary literacy and interest to learn together with the ability to write narration. ry (1,2) equal to 0.97, the coefficient of significance with the F test obtained F count = 27517.35, the real level á = 0, 05, with df 109 obtained Ftable = 3.08 then Fcount> Ftable. Thus, it can be concluded that mastery of literacy and interest of learn has significant relationship with students' ability to write children story.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to 1) know whether or not there is a relationship between writing motivation and report writing skills; 2) knowing whether or not there is a relationship between mastery of diction and report writing skills; 3) know whether or not there is a relationship between writing motivation and mastery of diction together with report writing skills. The research was conducted using correlational methods. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this study were simple correlation analysis and double correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that 1) there is a significant relationship between writing motivation and report writing skills namely coefficient of correlation r count (0.99) > r table (0.17) with t count significance (108.33) > t table (1.65); there is a significant relationship between diction mastery and report writing skills i.e. coefficient of correlation r count (0.97) > r table (0.17) with t count significance (50.93) > t table (1.65); there is a significant relationship between writing motivation and diction mastery together with report writing skills namely r count (0.99) > r table (0.17), F count significance (4396.54) > F table (3.07) with a real level á = 0.05 and df 128.Keywords: writing motivation, diction mastery, report writing skills, elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the skill of writing poetry by applied DWA (Direct Writing Activity) Strategy for fifth grade students in SDN Munggung 1 Surakarta on academic year of 2018/2019.The form of this research was a Classroom Action Research which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research included teacher and 33 fifth grade students in SDN Munggung 1 Surakarta. The data collected by interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques. The data validity test were using content validity, triangulation of resource, and triangulation of technique.The result of this research shows the improvement of skill of writing poetry values from pre-action, cycle I until cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of providing learning motivation through the national song during a limited face-to-face learning period on the attitude of nationalism of students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were class III teachers and 31 students in class III. The techniques for collecting data used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. In testing the validity of the data, the use of technique triangulation and source triangulation. This study used Miles and Huberman's model in the process of data analysis techniques. Based on the results of research, providing motivation through the national songs that are carried out continuously has an impact on the attitude of nationalism of students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the skills of teachers, find out the obstacles faced, and how to overcome the obstacles faced by teachers at elementary school conducting variations on thematic learning. The research subjects were teachers from grades I to VI. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects were teachers and students. Data collection techniques used consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity of the data was used using triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used is the interactive data analysis model by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has carried out the activities of conducting variations although there are still obstacles. Each teacher has implemented the use of a clear and fluent voice, made eye contact with students, used media and student involvement in its use, as well as patterns of interaction between teachers and students. The obstacle experienced is that they have not been able to use varied media such as concrete media. Teachers use LCD more often because of limited time for learning. So it shows that in the use of media and teaching tools, teachers at SD Negeri Setono are still relatively low.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that during the pandemic students' learning motivation decreases. If this is allowed to continue, it will have a negative impact on the future of Indonesian education. So it takes the role of the educator as a teacher and as a motivator in various ways so that it is expected to be able to increase student learning motivation. Based on the research that has been done and the explanations presented, it can be concluded that there are several roles played by the teacher in increasing the learning motivation of the students of SD Negeri Setono during the covid-19 pandemic, including 1) the teacher as a demonstrator, the teacher always studies and prepares material. 2) The educator as a class manager, the teacher creates a comfortable atmosphere and conducts active learning. 3) The teacher, as a mediator, the teacher chooses the learning media according to the student's learning needs. 4) teachers as facilitators, teachers understand and provide facilities to students. 5) the teacher as an evaluator, the educator evaluates by giving assignments, holding tests, and giving homework. 6) the teacher as a motivator, instils a sense of enthusiasm and also provides motivation in various ways .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the talents/giftedness possessed by elementary school students in Surakarta in 2022. The research used a descriptive method, with a survey technique of talent scouting of sports search model utilizing sports search software. The sample of this study amounted to 50 students, who were taken using the total sampling technique. The research instrument employed a talent scouting test of the sport search model. After the data were obtained, they were analyzed narratively to provide a more explicit meaning using the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. The results revealed that 35 students (35%) had potential giftedness, 31 students (31%) were less talented, and 34 students (34%) were not gifted. Research suggestions are to train seriously for students with talent, to keep training by adding training for less gifted ones, and to keep training seriously by increasing speed, agility, and endurance training for those who are not gifted. In addition, the identification results of students with potential in sports are needed so that later, these students will succeed in the right training process and can accomplish high achievements to support the development and improvement of sports success in Surakarta City.

Abstract

ABSTRAKGame online merupakan permainan yang digemari oleh remaja saat ini tidak terkecuali siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan kemajuan teknologi yang terus kembang serta memiliki akses yang mudah dijangkau oleh semua orang, hal ini menyebabkan siswa sering bermain game online. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahi pengaruh Game online terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif studi kasus, dengan menggunakan Teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang diharapkan pada penelitian ini peneliti dapat memaparkan pengaruh game online terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam proses penelitian yaitu dengan cara reduksi, display dan menggambarkan kesimpulan data.ABSTRAKWeb based games will be games that are leaned toward by young people today, including primary school understudies. With mechanical advances that proceed to create and have simple access for everybody, this makes understudies frequently play web based games. Accordingly, the reason for this study was to decide the impact of web based games on understudy learning results. This review utilizes a contextual analysis subjective examination type, utilizing interview, perception, and documentation methods which are normal in this review specialists can make sense of the impact of web based games on grade school understudy learning results. The information examination utilized in the exploration cycle is by lessening, showing and portraying information ends.
