Abstract

Fire is a dangerous threat and can result in the loss of a person's life and material loss. Early childhood is very risky to become victims of fire so there is a need for counseling and assistance to children as provisions in preventing casualties. This research is focused on the socialization of early childhood understanding of the dangers and prevention of fires that have occurred recently. This study uses a qualitative approach with a socialization model. The data was obtained by observation and interviews using Google Form involving resource persons consisting of the principal, teachers of class B. This study revealed that the socialization of early childhood understanding regarding the dangers and fire prevention is very necessary as an effort to prepare for prevention and provision of children's readiness to face fire disaster that can happen at any time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya pengaruh family literacy programs terhadap perkembangan keaksaraan awal anak usia dini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh anak usia dini yang berusia 5-6 tahun di TK Aisyiyah Kalisari. Sampel berjumlah 27 anak dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif pre-experimental designs dengan bentuk one group before-after (pretest-posttest) design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner untuk mengukur perkembangan keaksaraan awal anak. Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-smirnov. Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik setelah data dinyatakan normal dengan nilai signifikansi p ≥ 0,05. Uji hipotesis menggunakan paired samples t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 20 for windows. Analisis data menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata saat pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen. Pretest memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 48,59 dan meningkat menjadi 58,96 ketika posttest, 2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan atau nyata antara hasil pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi p 0,05, sehingga membuktikan adanya pengaruh family literacy programs terhadap perkembangan keaksaraan awal anak usia dini.

Abstract

The demographic shift toward Millennial and Generation Z parents has reshaped expectations for early childhood education (ECE), particularly regarding institutional resource management and service quality. This study examines the relationship between institutional resource management and parental satisfaction in ECE settings.A quantitative correlational design was employed with 150 parents in Surakarta, Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using two Likert-scale instruments measuring institutional resource management (16 items) and parental satisfaction (12 items). Instrument validity was established through expert judgment, and reliability testing using Cronbach’s alpha indicated satisfactory internal consistency. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination.The findings revealed a moderate, statistically significant positive relationship between institutional resource management and parental satisfaction (r = 0.56, p 0.01). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.31) indicates that 31% of the variance in parental satisfaction is explained by institutional resource management. No significant differences were found between Millennial and Generation Z parents, suggesting convergent expectations regarding transparency, digital documentation, and administrative efficiency.The results highlight the importance of systematic and technology-supported resource management in enhancing parental satisfaction across generational groups. ECE institutions should prioritize managerial transparency, digital service optimization, and responsive administration to align with contemporary parental expectations. Future research should explore additional factors influencing satisfaction and extend analysis across broader educational contexts.
