Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of innovation on business success. This type of research is descriptive, the collection of information was obtained from sources at the Tarutung Subdistrict Office and interviews with ulos weaving craftsmen in Tarutung subdistrict, with the research population being all weavers in Tarutung subdistrict, the number The exact number of the population in this study is not known, so a research sampling technique was applied using cluster random sampling technique, namely, Ulos weaving craftsmen MSMEs located in 5 sub-districts in Tarutung, with 20 UKMs in each sub-district so that the total number is 100 UKMs as sample. The analysis technique used is MSR (Moderated Simple Regression). The results of the research show that innovation has a positive and significant effect on the business success of Ulos weaving craftsmen MSMEs in Tarutung sub-district.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how modern resource management resolves conventional challenges in that area. Computing technology with all its specific application variants will help human performance in HR management in the contemporary era. The rapid advancement of technology and digitalization has presented a digital economy characterized by business and the trade transactions based on technology. This study aims to analyze the influence of the digital economy as measured by the Value of Electronic Money Transactions and the Value of E-Commerce Transactions on Indonesia’s economic growth. This research method is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. The data sources used are journal manuscripts, books, and other sources that are in accordance with the theme of this study. The data will be elaborated to get the construction of relevant thoughts and reflect an adequate analysis of computers and human resource management in this modern era. The results of the study are computing is able to carry out administrative tasks automatically; computing is able to increase employee engagement; computing can help improve the recruitment and orientation process; computing can help ensure compliance; and computing can help drive data-driven decision making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational communication, individual characteristics, work ability and work ethic on employee performance at PT. Nusantara Plantation IV. The type of research used in this study is an associative type. The sample used is the employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan with a total of 175 respondents. In this study researchers used primary data sources. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression test. Based on the results of the study it was found that organizational communication significantly influences employee performance, individual characteristics variables significantly influence employee performance, work ability variables significantly affect employee performance, and work ethic variables significantly influence employee performance as well as organizational communication variables. Individual characteristics, work abilities and work ethics of employees at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV jointly has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan, thus the proposed hypothesis is proven.

Abstract

Motivation is often interpreted as an impulse. Encouragement or energy is the movement of the soul and body to do. So the motive is a driving force that moves humans to behave, and in their actions, it has a certain purpose. While discipline is also very closely related to employee productivity because in departments, especially civil servants, there are also laws that emphasize discipline, which is sometimes violated by employees. This study will analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on work productivity in the North Sumatra Province PSDA Service. The result of this study is that motivation and work discipline has a significant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

Human resource management is the science and art of managing worker relationships and functions so that they can effectively and efficiently contribute to the accomplishment of organizational, employee, and community goals. The degree to which a business meets its objectives determines whether it succeeds or fails. The availability of sufficient human resources at Stella Maris Hospital is one of the elements influencing a business's performance in reaching its objectives. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of work experience and competence on Stella Marris Hospital employees' productivity.Path analysis was the research methodology adopted in this study. A sample of 92 Stella Marris Hospital employees was taken. The results of the study demonstrate how employees' productivity at Stella Maris Hospital is greatly influenced, either entirely or partially, by their level of competence and work experience.
