In order to achieve positive performance growth in this era of global competition, Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) must have sustainable competitive advantages. Competitive advantages can be obtainedif SME have Valuable, Rare, Inimitable and Non-substitutable (VRIN) resources. Therefore this research aimed to study the effects of VRIN resources to competitive advantages and performance. The subjects of this study was 187 SMEs listed in Cooperation Office and SME of Medan. Using path analysis, the obtained result shows that rareness gave direct effects to performance and in-immitable gave indirect effects to performance through competitive advantages as intervening.Keywords: VRIN, competitive advantage, performance, small medium enterprises

The main objective of this research is to provide insight to companies about the importance of forming an alliance portfolio in the development of sustainable innovation. The method used is Multiple Regression Analysis using SPSS 19. The sample was drawn from the entire population of Large and Medium Enterprises who never committed a strategic alliance and are in Medan. Based on the analysis found that the diversity of resources alliance portfolios provide significant pegaruh to business innovation for medium and large companies in the city of Medan. But in fact not only the diversity of resource variables that affect the alliance portfolio creation process of innovation, but also variable experience in making alliances and their high level of market uncertainty in Medan.Keywords: Diversity of Resources, Alliance Portfolio, Innovation, Market Uncertainty, Alliance experience.

Diketahui bahwa bisnis Handphone merupakan salah satu bisnis yang sangat cepat perubahannya dengan tingkat persaingan yang sangat ketat. Satu vendor handphone bisa mengeluarkan produk berbagai varian untuk satu tahun yang sama, dan biasanya akan disusul oleh vendor – vendor lainnya. Pertumbuhan bisnis ini dengan gambaran kondisi tersebut, menciptakan suatu persaingan yang sangat ketat dan menjadi tidak mudah untuk bertahan pada bisnis ini mengingat banyaknya perusahaan – perusahaan yang mencoba masuk pada bisnis ini. Oleh sebab itu, untuk dapat bertahan pada bisnis ini perusahaan harus menerapkan strategi yang tepat, salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan adalah fokus kepada pelanggan. Dalam penelitian ini populasi adalah orang-orang yang menggunakan Handphone merek Xiaomi. Sementara sampelnya adalah sebesar 120 orang responden Penelitian ini akan digunakan metode sampel jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Path Analysis. Dilihat dari hasil dapat terlihat pengaruh secara positif tetapi tidak signifikan secara langsung Pelayanan terhadap Kepuasan pengguna handphone xiaomi. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung Kualitas Produk terhadap Kepuasan pengguna handphone xiaomi. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi tidak signifikan secara langsung Pelayanan terhadap Loyalitas pengguna handphone xiaomi. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif tetapi signifikan secara langsung Kualitas Produk terhadap Loyalitas pengguna handphone xiaomi. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara langsung Kualitas Produk terhadap Loyalitas pengguna handphone xiaomi. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara langsung kepuasan pelanggan terhadap Loyalitas pengguna handphone xiaomi. Supervision, fingerprint attendance and organizational culture are motivations to improve employee work discipline in an organization. Work discipline is something that must be applied in every employee. Employee awareness is required by complying with applicable regulations. Regulations are needed to provide guidance and counseling for employees in creating good order in the organization. Apart from that, the agencies themselves must endeavor so that the regulations are clear, easy to understand and apply to all employees. The population in this study is all employees who work at PT XYZ. The number of samples in this study were 89 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data is tested using validity and reliability tests, and the data must fulfill the elements of the classical assumption test. Furthermore, the data analysis test was carried out using multiple linear regression, normality test, multicolinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The results of this study indicate that supervision, fingerprint attendance and organizational culture on work discipline at PT XYZ. Supervision variables, fingerprint attendance and organizational culture are variables that significantly influence work discipline.

The data of this study were taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the aim of knowing the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable in property and real estate companies. This research uses causality research method with quantitative approach with secondary data documentation data collection techniques. The total population of this study were 40 companies and the number of samples was 30 companies. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the capital structure variable has a significant positive effect on firm value, firm size has a significant negative effect on firm value, capital structure has a significant negative effect on profitability, firm size has a significant negative effect on profitability, profitability has a significant negative effect on firm value and profitability is not able to mediate capital structure and firm size on firm value.

This study aims to determine the effect of return on assets, earnings per share and debt to equity ratio on stock prices in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is causal associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The data used is obtained from the company's financial statements that have been audited on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the study period. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression of panel data. The population of this study is banking companies for the 2016-2020 period, which amounted to 46 companies. The sample in this study amounted to 37 companies. The results of this study indicate that return on assets has a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices, earnings per share has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, debt to equity ratios have a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices. return on assets, earnings per share and debt to equity ratio simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on stock prices.

Research aims: This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational support and emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) through employee organizational commitment.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research was conducted in the Central Bureau of Statistics in Medan City with a population of 100 permanent partner employees. Using non-probability sampling, the entire population became the research sample. Meanwhile, the analysis technique employed path analysis.Research findings: The results proved that organizational support and emotional intelligence had a significant effect directly on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and indirectly through employees' organizational commitment. In other words, increased organizational support and emotional intelligence of employees will intensify the level of employee organizational commitment, raising the level of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and vice versa. In this case, organizational support strongly predicts employees’ high organizational commitment. Theoretical contribution/Originality: Further research that explores other predictors needs to be carried out with more significant respondents to generalize the findings better.Practitioner/Policy implication: It is essential to provide more intensive organizational support to employees since this variable is a strong organizational predictor of generating a superior level of employee organizational commitment. Organizations also need to conduct in-depth personality tests to detect the level of individual emotional intelligence of employees who work in the field and interact with the community for better work effectiveness.Research limitation/Implication: The limited number of population and samples in the agency is a limitation of the study to generalize the findings better.

Abstrak: Tuntutan revolusi industri merubah tatanan dalam berbagai bidang, baik ekonomi, sosial dan pendidikan khususnya. Penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi ciri utama pada era digital ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha melalui pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian menggunakan disain eksperimen dengan membagi tiga kelompok responden yakni kelompok pembelajaran konvensional (X0) sebagai kelompok kontrol dan dua kelompok eksperimen yakni pembelajaran berbasis projek (X1) dan pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK (X2). Analisis data menggunakan teknik komparasi dengan Twoway-Anova. Hasil Penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis projek lebih efektif dibanding pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional, dan pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK lebih unggul dari pembelajaran berbasis projek (µ2> µ1> µ0). Temuan penelitian ini memperkuat penelitan terdahulu dan merekomendasikan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam bidang kewirausahaan. Kompetensi hasil belajar akan lebih tinggi pada pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK dibanding model pembelajaran lainnya, seiring dengan tuntutan perilaku bisnis dan kewirausahaan di era digital saat ini.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, PBL, TIK Abstract: The demands of the industrial revolution changed the order in various fields, both economic, social and education in particular. The application of information and communication technology is the main characteristic of this digital era. This study aims to improve student competence in entrepreneurship through project-based learning assisted by information and communication technology. The study used an experimental design by dividing three groups of respondents namely the conventional learning group (X0) as the control group and the two experimental groups namely project-based learning (X1) and ICT-assisted project-based learning (X2). Data analysis uses a comparison technique with Twoway-Anova. The research results prove that project-based entrepreneurship learning is more effective than learning with conventional approaches, and ICT-assisted project-based learning is superior to project-based learning (µ2> µ1> µ0). The findings of this study strengthen previous research and recommend the use of information and communication technology in learning, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. Learning outcomes competence will be higher in ICT-assisted project-based learning compared to other learning models, in line with the demands of business and entrepreneurial behavior in the current digital era.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, PBL, ICT

This study aimed to examine and analyze whether transformational leadership and quality of work life partially affect employee job satisfaction. To test and analyze whether transformational leadership, quality of work life, and job satisfaction partially influence organizational commitment. To test and analyze whether job satisfaction intervenes with transformational leadership and quality of work life on organizational commitment. The total population in this study was 100 people in the planning division, and all of them were taken as samples using saturated sampling. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had no significant effect on organizational commitment, quality of work life had no significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction had a significant effect on organizational commitment, transformational leadership had a significant effect on job satisfaction, quality of work life had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Then transformational leadership had a significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction and quality of work life had a significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, so this indicates an indirect effect.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Perceived Organization Support and work environment on employee performance moderated by transformational leadership style at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra. This research is associative with a quantitative approach. sampling used is saturated sample. The sample employees in this study were 118 employees. The results of the research on the Perceived Organizational Support variable have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, there is a positive and significant effect on the work environment variable on employee performance. Perceived Organizational Support and Work Environment together have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Perceived Organizational Support on Employee Performance is moderated by a significant Transformational Leadership Style.
