Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) can make it easier for everyone to access various types of information through the internet and social media; this can result in a decline in national identity in society. Meanwhile, technological developments can also be used as a medium to educate the general public. Therefore, this study aims to obtain information on how to use YouTube social media to increase historical awareness. The research method uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach, while the data collection procedures include observations, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of founders of historical creators on Youtube and several general audiences. The results of this study suggest that the use of social media in increasing historical awareness on the Inspect History Youtube account by utilizing animated videos is one of the efforts that can be made to provide historical knowledge and its relation to increasing historical awareness in the current digital era.

Abstract

This paper is a research on the history of naming Lubang Buaya using the interview method by examining the tomb of Mbah Prince Syarif bin Sheikh Abdul Rahman (Datok Flood) which is located on Jl. Kramat RT.7/RW.10, Lubang Buaya, Kec. Cipayung, East Jakarta City, which local residents believe is the person who coined the name Lubang Buaya. Then associate the name of Lubang Buaya with the G30S event. In fact, the naming of Lubang Buaya existed before the G30S event. There are two methods used in this paper, namely literature study and interviews (observation).

Abstract

Matematika merupakan ilmu yang penting dikuasai karena sangat erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan nyata. Namun banyak siswa di sekolah yang beranggapan bahwa matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui faktor apa saja terhadap kesulitan siswa dalam belajar matematika yang terjadi pada kelas 5 SDN Kali Baru 3 Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penggambaran beberapa temuan di lapangan, subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 5 dan di pilih  8 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara dengan subjek yang telah di tentukan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat di kemukakan bahwa : Kesulitan belajar yang terjadi siswa kelas 5 SDN Kali Baru 3 Bekasi di sebabkan oleh dua faktor yaitu faktor intern dan ekstern. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya kesulitan belajar matematika pada siswa kelas 5 di SDN Kali Baru 3 Bekasi masih tinggi. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan siswa terlihat dari tidak sukanya siswa terhadap mata pelajaran matematika, sulitnya mengerjakan soal matematika, tidak aktifnya siswa dalam bertanya kepada guru dan kurangnya siswa untuk mendapatkan bimbingan khusus sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika.

Abstract

Using the appropriate learning resources is crucial to making progress towards one's educational objectives. The use of electronic resources for education increased during the Covid-19 epidemic. Because of this, educational technology in Indonesia can now develop in a new direction. This research aimed to evaluate the efficacy of using social media apps to teach history in the classroom. Quantitative research methods and testing procedures were used in this investigation. Fifty instructors participated in the study, representing Bandar Lampung, Bekasi, East Jakarta, Bogor Regency, and Tangerang City schools. There are 22 male instructors and 28 female teachers across the 24 elementary schools, 14 middle schools, and 11 high schools. History classes also make use of digital learning materials. Methods of descriptive quantitative research. The theoretical study of history can establish and foster a sense of nationalism in the younger generation. Hence history education plays an important role. However, a student-friendly learning medium is required to transmit the theoretical study knowledge.

Abstract

Background: Desa Mekarsari, Kecamatan Maja, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. Salah satu daerah yang menjadi lokasi dilaksanakannya Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN-Dik) Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Uhamka. Tercatat dalam data terdapat beberapa sekolah yang ada di Desa Mekarari mulai dari SD, Madrasah Aliyah, SMK, dan SMA. Pesatnya modernisasi di era sekarang, membuat banyak perubahan dan kebiasaan yang berubah, seperti banyaknya anak-anak di Desa Mekarsari yang cenderung memilih memainkan gadget untuk bermain game online atau sosial media dibadingkan dengan permainan tradisional. Padahal permainan tradisional memiliki nilai-nilai budaya dan bisa menjadikan anak-anak kreatif. Untuk itu kami kelompok 8 KKN-Dik melakukan program kerja untuk memperkenalkan mainan tradisional egrang kepada anak-anak di desa Mekarsari. Metode: Penyuluhan tentang permainan tradisional egrang kepada anak-anak secara langsung, mengedukasi dan melatih cara menggunakan permainan tradisonal egrang kepada anak-anak. Hasil: Program kerja yang dilakukan kelompok kami dapat dikatakan berhasil karena bisa menarik perhatian dan antusisas anak-anak di Desa Mekarsari untuk berlatih permainan egrang dan sekaligus belajar tentang sejarah permainan tradisional egrang. Kesimpulan: Dengan diperkenalkannya mainan tradisional egrang kepada anak-anak di desa Mekarsasi bertujuan agar eksistensi permainan tradisional tetap dilestarikan oleh anak-anak Milenial karena merupakan warisan nenek moyang.

Abstract

Kapitan Jonkers had a confidant of leadership in the VOC. He rejected the policy of segregation between the tribes living in Marunda because some of his troops came from different ethnic groups and tribes. The problem of this research is how is Kapitan Jonkers' efforts to reject racist policies in Marunda?. The purpose of this research is to garner his heroism in opposing the concept of racism that has been instilled in the archipelago for a long time. The research method used is the historical method. The results of this study indicate that Kapitan Jonkers seeks to unite the ethnic groups living in the Marunda area. His rejection of the policy of inter-ethnic separation in Marunda is proof that Kapitan Jonkers is a person who struggles for inter-ethnic unity considering that most of his followers come from various regions in the archipelago. The division of each tribe and ethnicity in Marunda, according to him, can cause jealousy with each other so that divisions can occur between the tribes who live there.
