Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the e-magazine-based project based learning model on historical thinking skills in History learning for class XI at SMA Negeri 9 Pandeglang. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental with. Data collection was carried out through a purposive sample technique with class XI B consisting of 34 students as the experimental class using the PjBL model and class XI C consisting of 34 students as the control class using the discovery learning model. The results of the study are as follows; (1) there is an effect of the e-magazine-based project based learning model on students' historical thinking skills, hypothesis testing through a two-way t-test using the polled variant diporel formula, t count = 5,151 ≥ t table = 1,996 with α = 0.05, (2) the historical thinking skills of students who use the project based learning model are higher than students who use the discovery learning model. The average post-test score of the experimental class (77,4) and the control class (68,9) showed that the control class had an average difference of (8,5) higher than the control class. Indicators of chronological thinking skills, skills in identifying continuity and change, indicators of recording data/information/historical sources, skills in identifying continuity and change, and skills in designing and reporting historical research results experienced changes and increases seen from before and after the treatment of the project based learning model in the form of cause and effect ideas on learning materials, analysis at the discussion stage, and compiling and reporting the results of reports according to the selected topic. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the t-count value = 5,151 and t-table = 1,996 were obtained with a significance level of 0,05, so it was concluded that there was an influence of the use of the e-magazine-based project based learning model on students' historical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 9 Pandeglang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Articulate Storyline 3 interactive learning media on the historical thinking ability of class XII students in History subject at SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang. The research method used in this research is quasi-experiment. Data collection was carried out through purposive sample technique with class XII-5 as many as 40 students as an experimental class using Articulate Storyline 3 interactive learning media and class XII-1 as many as 40 students as a control class using YouTube video learning media. The results of the study are as follows; there is an effect of Articulate Storyline 3 interactive learning media on students' historical thinking ability, hypothesis testing through a two-party t-test there is an increase in students' historical thinking ability by obtaining a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is an increase in students' historical thinking ability in class XII history subjects at SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang after using Articulate Storyline interactive learning media. Basically, the Articulate Storyline 3 application can be used as a recommendation as a digital learning media that serves to determine the level of student understanding of learning material, especially in history subjects which has the aim of one of which is to develop students' historical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study analyzes the representation of women in the national movement within high school history textbooks of the Merdeka Curriculum using the Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) by Ruth Wodak. The findings reveal that women appear eight times less frequently than men, with their roles concentrated in education (30%), social organizations (25%), and health (20%), while political and military roles are minimal. Language analysis shows that active-strategic diction dominates descriptions of male figures (85%), whereas passive-emotional diction prevails for female figures (60-70%). The narrative structure applies the Great Men Theory, placing women as supplements to the main story. Visual representation marginalizes women through smaller photo sizes, peripheral placement, and domestic contexts. Ideological analysis confirms that patriarchal structures dominate all discourse production dimensions, with the state scoring 5/5 and women as subjects scoring only 1/5. The deconstruction score averages 2.2 out of 10, indicating a significant gap from the ideal inclusive representation. These findings demonstrate that despite the Merdeka Curriculum's inclusive aspirations, history textbooks continue to reproduce gender biases that marginalize women's historical contributions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui Proyek Pemanfaatan Biografi Pahlawan Nasional Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dalam mengembangkan karakter bernalar kritis peserta didik di SMK Negeri 10 Pandeglang. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan pengambilan sampel purposive pada kelas X AKL dan PPLG. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di lokasi penelitian selama Januari hingga September 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proyek ini efektif dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran sejarah dengan penguatan dimensi bernalar kritis, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memproses informasi, menganalisis argumen, dan merefleksi pemikiran secara kritis melalui kegiatan riset, diskusi, dan presentasi poster digital. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru, motivasi siswa yang bervariasi, dan sarana prasarana yang kurang mendukung. Kesimpulannya, penerapan proyek ini mampu mengembangkan karakter bernalar kritis peserta didik secara signifikan dengan rekomendasi peningkatan pelatihan guru dan fasilitas pendukung.

Abstract

History education plays an important role in fostering diversity awareness, tolerance, and respect for differences. However, its implementation for deaf students faces challenges related to communication and access to learning materials. This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural-based history learning for deaf students at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang. A qualitative approach with a single case study design was employed. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that the multicultural approach was implemented through visual media, sign language, multimodal communication, and the integration of local history and culture into the learning process. These strategies enhanced students’ understanding of historical content while fostering tolerance and appreciation of cultural diversity. Nevertheless, the limited availability of adaptive learning media and variations in students’ communication abilities remain significant challenges. The study highlights the importance of accessible and culturally responsive history education in supporting inclusive learning for deaf students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan Museum Situs Kepurbakalaan Banten Lama sebagai sumber belajar sejarah bagi pelajar SMA di Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru sejarah dan peserta didik dari beberapa SMA di Kota Serang yang telah melaksanakan kunjungan edukatif ke Museum Situs Kepurbakalaan Banten Lama. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa museum dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar sejarah melalui kegiatan observasi koleksi, pemanfaatan penjelasan pemandu museum, diskusi kelompok, serta penugasan berbasis pengalaman kunjungan. Pemanfaatan museum memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih konkret, kontekstual, dan interaktif dibandingkan pembelajaran sejarah di kelas secara konvensional. Selain itu, kunjungan museum mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap sejarah lokal Banten serta menumbuhkan ketertarikan siswa terhadap pembelajaran sejarah. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan waktu kunjungan, kurang optimalnya integrasi kegiatan museum dalam perangkat pembelajaran, serta keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Museum Situs Kepurbakalaan Banten Lama memiliki potensi strategis sebagai sumber belajar sejarah berbasis pengalaman yang mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan bermakna.
