DEPRIVASI RELATIF KOMPETENSI KEPEMIMPINAN GURU PAI: Kajian Komparatif Guru Akidah Akhlak Berkualifikasi S1 dan Guru Tugas Pesantren Lulusan MA Zumrotul Mukaffa

Abstract

This paper attempts to examine the leadership competence of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) teachers in the areas of Islamic theology and Morality with the qualification of Bachelor Degree (S1) and pesantren-assigned teachers (guru tugas pesantren) graduated from IslamicSenior High School and factors that influence it. PAI teachers with the qualification of S1 or those who have pedagogical competence are believed to have higher leadership competencies, and vice versa,pesantren-assigned teachers with secondary level education qualification, have lower leadership competence. The results show a contrasting real picture of the phenomenon. This reality is interesting to examine further in order to find the pattern to increase the competence of teachers in accordance with the needs of madrasahs/schools. This study uses a combination of methods, quantitative supported by the analysis of qualitative data (mix-methods) by taking the population of Islamic Theology and Morality teachers who teach in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). The results of the analysis illustrate the average value of the competence of PAI teachers with S1 qualification which is 55.8333 and pesantren-assigned teachers which is 51.4000 with the mean of difference 4.43333. Although there is an average difference, it is not so significant. The level of significance is only 0.040 which means <0.05. Based on the statistical calculation, there is no difference in leadership competence among S1 graduated teachers and pesantren-assigned teachers. Qualitative data analysis shows that there are structural factors that negatively affect the achievement of the competence of PAI teachers with S1 qualification. On the other hand, the positive achievement of leadership competence of pesantren-assigned teachers is influenced by the success of technical guidance, strict recruitment, and habituation as peer teacher while they were in pesantren. There is a relative deprivation phenomenon that emerged among PAI teachers who have had academic competence. The various structural policy packages issued by the government that is ideally projected to improve competence, including the leadership competence of the teachers, have a negative impact in the implementation realm. In particular, policies highlight more on improving learning administrative governance aspects which result in a decrease of teachers creative ability in learning.

Abstract

This paper attempts to unravel the important role of the Madrasah Diniyah under Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Keputih within the 10 November Institute of Technology Surabaya (ITS) environment with transnational Islamic movement. The organizers are fully aware of the importance of disseminating moderate Islamic values and positioning Madrasah Diniyah as mediation structure to develop tolerance ​​and to counter the formalization of khilafah within the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The santri did not only study a collection of kitab based upon their levels, but also explore the great ideas of moderate Islam in the country. The enrichment process was managed by reflecting students' knowledge with WIKI ASWAJA and ASWAJA NU websites, managed under PWNU Aswaja Study Center in East Java. Recent issues, such as the Caliphate and Islam Nusantara on the website are discussed with the bandongan-muhawarah method by involving all santri. The success of the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah in the pesantren Darussalam as a mediating structure was marked by its ability to develop counter-discourse towards transnational Islamic movements in campus environment.

Abstract

This paper seeks to see the role of Kyai Sahal in community education in his capacity as a scholars. His phenomenal figure became an interesting study in looking at the role of one scholars of these ‘Islamic boarding school’, in relation to educating the community to be empowered. Unlike the ‘Islamic boarding school’ scholars in general, Kyai Sahal not only educates people in the field of Islamic Religion, but more than that, it also controls the community through its involvement in two mass organizations of the Majelis Ulama’ Indonesia (MUI) and Nahdlatul Ulama’ (NU) problems that occur in society with the movement of small and medium economic empowerment, and make social changes through the social jurisprudence paradigm which leads him to have the view that the main purpose of the Shari’a is to prosper the ummah in the world and the hereafter. Man as the subject as well as object of Shari’a, is obliged to create prosperity of human life in the world for the prosperity of life in the afterlife.

Abstract

Bank Soal adalah bentuk nyata dari profesionalisme guru terutama dimasa pandemi yang berlansung dimana dunia pendidikan harus sigap dan adaptif terhadap berbagai keadaan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan dan menyusun Bank Soal yang berkualitas dan adaptif dimasa pandemi. Metode dalam pengabdian ini adalah Community Based Research. Pengembangan Bank Soal ini dilaksanakan di SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan antusias dan kooperatif. Hasil dari pengembangan Bank Soal bisa diterapkan dengan baik dan mempunyai manfaat yang berkepanjangan Kata kunci: Bank Soal, profesionalisme, guru, evaluasi.

Abstract

Terhitnya Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 19 Tahun 2005 lentang Standar Nosional Pendidikan tentu menjadi harapan baru hagi pengembangan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. PP tersebut sebagai salah satu ramhu^amhu atau petunjuk dalam penataan sistem penyelenggaraaan pendidikan. Tulisan inimerupakan hasil penelitian (deskriptifkualitatif) terkait dampak pemberlakuan PP 19 Tahun 2005 terhadap eksistensi madrasah. Penelitian difokuskan di tiga madrasah pada jenjang aliyah, yaitu: MAN Surabaya, MA Amanatul Ummah Surabaya dan MA Ittaqu Surabaya. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian didasarkan ataspertimbangan representasi status madrasah negeri dan swasta, serta pertimbangan nllai akreditasi madrasah. Melalui paparan dan aruilisis data, diharapkan dapat melihat secara lebih dalam bagaimana implementasi peraturan tersebut di lingkungan madrasah, sehingga lebih lanjut akan diketahui dampak atausignifikansi standar nosional pendidikan ini bagi penyelenggaraan pendidikan di madrasah.

Abstract: Implementation of the Normative Reference Assessment Approach (PAN) and Benchmark Reference Assessment Approach (PAP) in Evaluating Student Learning Outcomes (Case Study of Class XI Students of SMA Gema 4 Surabaya).Assessment is a very important part of the evaluation process. Evaluation is one of the learning component sub-systems that participate in providing quality assurance for the continuity of learning in the following stages. There are two assessment approaches in evaluating learning outcomes, namely norm-based assessment (PAN) and benchmark-based assessment (PAP). The object of this research is class XI students of SMA Gema 45 Surabaya, more specifically PAI subjects. The method used in this research is a qualitative case study. The results obtained are that in assessing learning outcomes, teachers at SMA Gema 45 Surabaya do not yet know about norm-based assessment (PAN) and benchmark-based assessment (PAP), so the two assessment approaches have not been applied.Abstrak: Implementasi Pendekatan Penilaian Acuan Normatif (PAN) dan Pendekatan Penilaian Acuan Patokan (PAP) dalam Mengevaluasi Hasil Belajar Siswa (Studi Kasus Siswa Kelas XI SMA Gema 4 Surabaya)Penilaian merupakan salah satu hal yang terpenting dalam kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran. Sedangkan evaluasi yakni bagian dari sub-sistem komponen belajar yang dapat memberikan jaminan kualitas atau mutu pada kelangsungan pembelajaran pada tahap selanjutnya. Di dalam penilaian, terdapat dua pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar, yakni penilaian yang berpatokan pada norma (PAN) dan penilaian beracuan pada patokan (PAP). Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Gema 45 Surabaya lebih khusus pada mata pelajaran PAI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil yang diperoleh yakni bahwa dalam penilain hasil belajar, guru di SMA Gema 45 Surabaya belum mengetahui mengenai penilaian beracuan norma (PAN) dan penilaian beracuan patokan (PAP), sehingga pendekatan kedua penilaian tersebut belum diterapkan

Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is that the learning media used by teachers affect students' understanding of tajwid when reading Qur'an. Simple media that can solve this problem is a rotating wheel media containing hijaiyah letters. The purpose of this study was to determine students' understanding of tajwid by using a rotary wheel in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject. The research method used was quantitative with quasi-experimental research and Time-Series Design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection was done using tests and assessment rubrics. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test. The results of this study indicated that in the cognitive and skill domains, the average value of the pretest and posttest were in a good category and improved after being treated with a rotating wheel media. The t-test results showed the sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, applying the rotary wheel media increased students' comprehension of tajwid.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low literacy culture of the Indonesian people, which, according to UNESCO, are ranked 60th out of 61 countries. In a year, children in Europe and America can read about 25-27% of books, children in Japan are around 15-18%, while Indonesian children only reach 0.01%. The phenomenon of low interest in reading books also occurs in students with special needs at a private Elementary School. This study aims to improve the literacy skills of students with special needs at an elementary school using flash card media. This study uses an experimental approach, with a pre-experimental model carried out by (pretest-posttest design). The group observed was ten students with special needs in low grades with down syndrome, speech delay, meningitis, slow learning, and dyslexia. The results showed that the flash card media improved the literacy skills (reading at the beginning) of students with special needs with a significance value of 0.007 0.05, which means that the statistical test significance of reading skills scores is smaller than the significance limit value. The improvement of literacy skills (reading the beginning) is also influenced by attractive, illustrated and colourful flash card media design. This results in students being more interested in learning to read and more accessible to understanding the studied concepts.

Abstract

THE DEVELOPMENT OF INCLUSIVE MADRASAH MODEL (A STUDY  OF PREPAREDNESS AND DEVELOPMENT MODELS OF INCLUSIVE MADRASAH CURRICULUM IN MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH AL HIDAYAH MARGOREJO SURABAYA). This research was motivated by the existence of learners in MI Al-Hidayah consisting of regular learners and learners with special needs. It was  also conducted considering that in the city of Surabaya, inclusive madrasah model hasn’t been  found. This study aims to analyze the preparedness of madrasah towards inclusive madrasah, and to develop one of the products needed in the development of inclusive madrasah that is document product I of inclusive madrasah curriculum. This research used development research model. The results of the research were: first, 100% or all respondents expressed readiness to welcome the change from regular madrasah to inclusive madrasah as proved by the commitment to participate, promote, and avoid resistance to change. Second, document model I of the inclusive madrasah curriculum developed in Madrasah Al-Hidayah based on long term local needs analysis using four models: duplication model, modification, substitution and omission. The four,  models are not contained in the curriculum document I MI Al-Hidayah. The four curriculum models will be clarified on the design of PPI, syllabus and RPP (Lesson Plan).
