Abstract

AbstractMedia relations are the attempt to achieve a maximum publication or broadcasting in order to create people awareness. The success of public relations to build image can be obtained from the harmonious relations with the media relations. Syariah Hotel Solo presents a new brand identity which is easily recognized by its preferences to use the ornamental pattern which is rooted in Islamic tradition, but was able to compete in news coverage in the media. This research aims to know media relations activities and the challenges conducted by Syariah Hotel Solo in order to improve the company’s image. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Techniques of data collection are through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of research show that media relations activities performed by Syariah Hotel Solo in order to improve corporate image are: Press Conference, Press Briefing, Press Tour, Press Release, Press Luncheon, Press Interview, Media Visit, and Greeting Media Partner’s Anniversary. Some of the activities are implemented formally and informal. The obstacles are adjusting the date of internal hotel activities with media’s schedule and competition with other hotel’s news. This research is expected to become consideration for public relations of Syariah Hotel Solo in implementing media relation activities. Keyword: Media Relations, Public Relations, Syariah Hotel Solo

Abstract

AbstrakSuara Gontor FM merupakan radio yang dimiliki oleh pondok modern Darussalam Gontor dan memiliki program dakwah lebih besar dari program siar lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model komunikasi radio suara Gontor FM dalam menyiarkan program Dakwah Islam serta hambatan-hambatannya.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di PT. Radio Suara Gontor FM dengan subyek penelitian CEO, penyiar dan pendengar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikator radio Suargo fm adalah guru yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria kredibiltas, daya tarik, dan kemampuan penyiar. Penyampaian pesan dakwah bersifat informatif, persuasif dan edukatif. Media yang digunakan sebagai saluran adalah radio dan internet yang mencakup media social seperti whatsapp, facebook, twitter, dan instagram. Pemetaan komunikan dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosiodemografik, psikologis dan karakteristik perilaku penyiar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap radio Suargo fm dalam menyiarkan program dakwah Islam dan memiliki sumbangsih pemikiran dalam kajian ilmu komunikasi khususnya bidang broadcasting radio.AbstractSuara Gontor FM is a radio owned by the modern Darussalam Gontor cottage and has a da’wah program greater than other broadcast programs. This study aims to determine the Gontor FM voice radio communication model in broadcasting the Islamic Da’wah program and its obstacles. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. The location of the study was conducted at PT. Radio Suara Gontor FM with research subjects as CEOs, broadcasters and listeners. Data collection techniques are done through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that Suargo FM radio communicators are teachers who are selected based on credibility criteria, attractiveness, and the ability of broadcasters. The delivery of da’wah messages is informative, persuasive and educative. The media used as channels are radio and internet which includes social media such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The communicant mapping was carried out using a sociodemographic, psychological and behavioral characteristics of the announcer. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the radio Suargo FM in broadcasting Islamic da’wah programs and to contribute ideas in the study of communication science, especially in the field of radio broadcasting.

Abstract

AbstrakPembelajaran bahasa arab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Istiqomah merupakan titik balik berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Al-Istiqomah. Salah satu isi visi dan misi utama pondok ini adalah membekali siswa dengan Bahasa Arab dan Bahasa Inggris sebagai dasar untuk penggalian ilmu-ilmu Islam dan persiapan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi dan membekali siswa dengan ilmu-ilmu keagamaan dan ilmu umum agar dapat lebih berdaya guna bagi lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi dan faktor yang menjadi hambatan pondok pesantren Al-Istiqomah dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa resmi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis data lapangan Milles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Istiqomah dilakukan melalui pelatihan guru dalam kegiatan micro teaching, pemilihan guru senior yang telah lama mengajar bahasa arab, pembelajaran dalam kelas, pendisiplinan bahasa diluar kelas, mengadakan kegiatan berbahasa arab setiap bulanya, pemilihan media yang sesuai pembelajaran, pemetaan komunikan sesuai pendidikan terakhir. Faktor yang menjadi penghambat adalah kurangnya jumlah pengajar untuk kelas tingkat MA, terdapat kekosongan kelas kerena guru disibukkan dengan pembenahan pondok pesantren, penggunaan kamus yang sama sebagai sumber kosa kata Bahasa Arab, buku-buku pendukung pembelajaran bahasa yang terbatas, rungan perpustakaan yang masih menyatu dengan kantor KMI dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri santri dalam berbahasa arab. Kontribusi penelitian ini berupa strategi komunikasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Istiqomah sebagai bahasa resmi. AbstractLearning Arabic in the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School is a turning point for the establishment of the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School, as one of the contents of the main vision and mission of this cottage is to equip students with Arabic and English as a basis for excavating Islamic sciences and preparation to the level higher education and equip students with religious and general sciences to be more efficient for the surrounding environment. This study aims to analyze communication strategies and factors that become obstacles in Al-Istiqomah Islamic boarding schools in learning Arabic as an official language. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the results of the study used Miles and Hubberman's field data analysis techniques. The results showed the communication strategies of learning Arabic in the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School carried out through teacher training in micro teaching activities, selecting senior teachers who had long taught Arabic, learning in the classroom, disciplining languages outside the classroom, making Arabic speaking activities every month, choosing appropriate learning media, communicant mapping according to the latest education, and the factors that become obstacles are the lack of teachers for MA classes, there are class vacancies because teachers are subordinated to the reform of Islamic boarding schools, the use of the same dictionary as a source of getting Arabic vocabulary, books supporters of limited language learning, library spaces that are still integrated with the KMI office and a lack of self-confidence of students in Arabic. The contribution of this research is the communication strategy of learning Arabic in Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School as an official language..

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi interpersonal mediator Bimas Islam Kabupaten Ponorogo dan pasangan suami istri yang berkonflik dalam upaya mencegah perceraian. Lokasi penelitian di kantor Bimas Islam Kabupaten Ponorogo dengan subyek penelitian Kepala Seksi Bimas Islam Kabupaten Ponorogo dan Ketua Kelompok Kerja Penyuluh Bimas Islam selaku mediator. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam upaya mencegah perceraian, Mediator Bimas Islam Kabupaten Ponorogo melaksanakan kegiatan mediasi bagi pasangan suami istri yang berkonflik dalam rumah tangga melalui komunikasi interpersonal. Adapun strategi komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan mediasi adalah melalui pendekatan sikap empati dan sikap suportif untuk membangun hubungan interpersonal yang baik antara mediator dengan pasutri agar komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan dapat berjalan secara maksimal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pencegahan perceraian melalui pendekatan komunikasi interpersonal.AbstractThis study aims to determine the interpersonal communication strategies of the Bimas Islam of Ponorogo Regency and married couples in conflict to prevent divorce. The location of this study was in the office of the Bimas Islam of Ponorogo Regency. The Section Head of the Islamic Community of Ponorogo Regency and the Chairperson of the Working Group of Islamic Community Extension Workers as mediators were the research subjects of this study. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. In collecting the data the researcher used interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that in preventing divorce, the Mediator of the Islamic Community of Ponorogo Regency carried out mediation activities for conflicting couples in the household through interpersonal communication. Moreover, the interpersonal communication strategy carried out in mediation activities is through an approach of empathy and supportive attitude to build good interpersonal relationships between mediators and couples so that interpersonal communication can be carried out optimally. This research contributes to in preventing divorce through an interpersonal communication approach.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi Gontor TV dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan studi deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Gontor TV dengan informan pendiri, CEO dan Kepala Bagian Produksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Verifikasi data menggunakan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi Gontor TV dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren melalui konten-konten dakwah yang tersedia di situs Youtube. Para penyiar Gontor TV adalah para asatidz dan santri yang memiliki keterampilan komunikasi. Media yang digunakan dalam menyampaikan konten dakwah adalah Youtube. Seluruh konten Gontor TV bermuatan dakwah yang dikemas dalam nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren. Audiens Gontor TV adalah masyarakat Islam, khususnya penggelut bidang dakwah dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam kajian ilmu komunikasi khususnya Gontor TV dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren. Da’wah As Communication Model of Gontor TV In Instilling Islamic Boarding School ValuesAbstractThis research aims to determine the communication strategy of Gontor TV in instilling the values of Islamic boarding school education. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive study. The research location was conducted in Gontor TV with the founder, the CEO, and the Head of the Production Department as the informants. Data collection techniques are undertaken by observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman's model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data verification used method and source triangulation. The results showed that the communication strategy of Gontor TV in instilling the values of Islamic boarding school education through da'wah content available on the Youtube site. The broadcasters of Gontor TV are asatidz and santri who have communication skills. The media used in delivering da'wah content is Youtube. All Gontor TV content contains da'wah which is packaged in the values of Islamic boarding school education. Gontor TV's audience is an Islamic community, especially those who work in the fields of da'wah and education. This research makes a positive contribution to the study of communication science, especially Gontor TV in instilling the values of Islamic boarding school education.

Abstract

AbstractLa-Tansa bakery factory is one of the cooperative existing in Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor. And, this factory was established since 2003. Although it has been established for 15 years, there is no standard marketing strategy in doing a market for the bread. As for the ingredients used in bread making are the ingredients without preservatives contents so that the expiration is faster. Consequently, it is required a standard strategy in doing a market for the bread. The purpose of this research is to know the strategy that used by La-Tansa Bakery in marketing the bread and the factors inhibiting La-Tansa Bakery in marketing the bread. To achieve results in this study, the researchers used a qualitative descriptive research method and the aim is to describe things that relate to the phenomena and events that existed during the research as deep as possible by collecting the detailed data and does not emphasize the population of the study but deepens the source in obtaining the data. As for the results of this study, researchers find that some strategies that had already been done by La-Tansa Bakery in the market of bread is already in accordance with the theory in mix marketing, but the form of activities is still relatively minimal. This is due to the lack of skilled human resources in the marketing strategy. Therefore, this research provides an input to La-Tansa Bakery to develop a mix marketing strategy in doing market for the bread.Keywords: Communications, Marketing, La-Tansa Bakery.

Abstract

The existence of public relations of pesantren has an important role in maintaining and increasing public trust through various communication activities. Instagram is a digital platform that is widely used by pesantren to disseminate information and as a medium of communication with their public. This research measures the effectiveness of Instagram as an information medium for Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor through a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method referring to the 4C theory with 4 measurement indicators, namely context, communication, collaboration connection. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 400 samples as respondents from 156,631 followers @pondok.modern.gontor as the research population. Data analysis uses the frequency distribution formula and Likert Summated Rating. The results of the research show that the use of Instagram as an information medium for Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor is considered very effective as indicated by a score of 20,312 in the range >Q3 to A. Theoretically, this research provides implications in the development of the 4C theory, and also contributes practically to the use of Instagram as a organizational information media, especially for pesantren.
