Abstract

Abstract. Integrated Community Service (PKM) is a form of service that accommodates a series of activities as a whole. Assistance in making RPP independent learning in a cultural context on geometry material for teachers of SMP, SMA and SMK in Pagar Alam. The purpose of this service activity is to assist teachers in designing learning activities the use of cultural contexts, especially on geometry material. The participants of the integrated PKM activity consisted of 49 people but at the time of mentoring it was only attended by 28 participants. The service activity was carried out for 2 days, on October 5-6, 2021. The methods used during this mentoring activity were the method of presentation, discussion, interactive question and answer, and recitation. The data collection technique used a questionnaire/questionnaire given through a google form consisting of an activity evaluation questionnaire and a participant satisfaction questionnaire for all integrated PKM activities. The results of this service activity showed that 73.48% of the participants had understood the material presented by the resource person. In addition, participants stated that this activity was useful for them, especially in making learning activitis independent in learning to use certain contexts. Abstrak. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang terintegrasi merupakan sebuah bentuk pengabdian yang mengakomodir serangkaian kegiatan secara keseluruhan. Pendampingan pembuatan RPP merdeka belajar berkonteks budaya pada materi geometri bagi guru SMP, SMA dan SMK di Pagar Alam. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah membantu guru dalam merancang aktivitas pmebelajaran merdeka belajar yang sesuai melalui penggunaan konteks budaya terutama pada materi geometri. Peserta kegiatan PKM terintegrasi terdiri dari 49 orang tapi pada saat pendampingan hanya dihadiri oleh 28 orang peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yaitu pada tanggal 5-6 Oktober 2021. Metode yang digunakan selama kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah metode presentasi, diskusi, tanya jawab interaktif, dan resitasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/ kuesioner yang diberikan melalui google form yang terdiri dari angket evaluasi kegiatan dan angket kepuasan peserta terhadapa seluruh kegiatan PKM terintegrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa adalah 73,48% peserta telah memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Di samping itu, peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi mereka terutama dalam membuat aktivitas pembelajaran merdeka belajar menggunakan konteks tertentu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran example non example terhadap hasil belajar tematik siswa SD Kelas VI. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakam tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data terbukti bahwa model pembelajaran example non example dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SD kelas VI. Hal ini terlihat dari perbedaan nilai rata-rata siswa di kelas VIA sebagai kelas eksperimen () sebesar 88,16 lebih besar daripada di kelas VIB sebagai kelas kontrol () sebesar 56,19. Sedangkan, nilai signifikansi t-hitung adalah 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga ditolak dan  diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran example non example terhadap hasil belajar tematik siswa kelas VI SD.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The initial idea of ​​the PKM team came from the community's need for soap and the benefits of soap for the community. Soap is a daily necessity in people's lives, not only for cleaning but also to provide a unique aroma for the body. The variants and forms of soap circulating in the community that are still limited provide their own inspiration for this community service activity. This is what makes the team innovate and create natural soap. The purpose of this PKM activity is to produce a product in the form of natural soap from coffee, lemongrass, and orange which is given the KOSERUK brand with 5 different variants. The method of implementing this PKM activity consists of aspects of production, business management in the form of product branding and marketing strategies, product manufacturing techniques, packaging, and marketing. The results of this community service activity are soap with 5 different variants given the KOSERUK brand as many as 500 bars of soap that are marketed to the community. In the future, this KOSERUK soap is expected to be the community's choice.  Keywords: Creation; Coffee; Lemongrass; Orange; Soap   ABSTRAK  Ide awal tim PKM berawal dari kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap sabun dan kebermanfaatan sabun bagi masyarakat. Sabun merupakan kebutuhan sehari-hari dalam kehidupan Masyarakat tidak hanya untuk membersihkan tetapi juga untuk memberikan aroma tersendiri bagi tubuh. Varian dan bentuk sabun yang beredar di masyarakat yang masih terbatas memberikan inspirasi tersendiri bagi di dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Inilah yang membuat tim berinovasi dan berkreasi memproduksi sabun berbahan alami. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa sabun berbahan alami dari bahan kopi, sereh dan jeruk yang diberi merek KOSERUK dengan 5 varian berbeda. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari aspek produksi, manajemen usaha berupa branding produk dan strategi pemasaran, teknik pembuatan produk, pengemasan dan pemasaran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa sabun dengan 5 varian berbeda yang diberi merek KOSERUK sebanyak 500 batang sabun yang dipasarkan kepada masyarakat. Abstract

The research aims to develop web-based learning media to foster literacy in higher education that is valid, practical, and potentially effective.  Besides, this study attempts to obtain the average literacy score using the developed web-based learning media.  The researchers employed the ADDIE model of instructional design comprising five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.  The research subjects were university students of Musi Charitas Catholic University, particularly the English Language Education Study Program students.  The data collecting technique employed tests, questionnaires, and documentation.  The collected data was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis and thematic analysis.  The research results show that web-based learning media on literacy using Google Sites is categorized as valid and practical and has potential effects.  The result shows that the average literacy score is 84.8.  Thus, web-based learning is likely to foster literacy in the context of higher education.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed Indonesia's educational system, including its universities. In all subjects, including mathematics, face-to-face learning systems must be transformed into online learning systems. The purpose of this study is to examine student responses to online lectures delivered during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with 30 students enrolled in high-grade mathematics courses. The data collection process included document analysis, observation, and questionnaire-assisted interviews. After that, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics techniques and presented in diagrams and narration. The results revealed that the online lecture process incorporated a digital platform, including video conferencing via Zoom, cloud meetings, WhatsApp, and the University's Lumen. The majority of students dislike online learning, even though the lectures are delivered like face-to-face lectures. They dislike online courses for two primary reasons: the unstable quality of the internet network and difficulty comprehending subject concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal warna pada anak kelompok A Paud Aur Mayan melalui media papan warna. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis & Taggart yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, refleksi dan perencanaan ulang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelompok A Paud Aur Mayan yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil apabila penggunaan media papan warna dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal warna memperoleh nilai 75% keatas dari semua indikator kemampuan kognitif berada pada indikator berkembang sangat baik. Meningkatnya kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal warna dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan dari hasil observasi prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal warna pada prasiklus menunjukkan rata-rata persentase 21,88%. Pada siklus I meningkat mencapai 40,63% dan siklus II meningkat mencapai persentase 81,25% dan telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan minimal 75% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui media papan warna dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal warna di kelompok A Paud Aur Mayan Kecamatan Rantau Pandan Kabupaten Bungo.

Abstract

The background of the research is that skills are needed in accordance with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, especially in the 21st century, namely critical thinking skills. For this reason, research is needed to determine the description of critical thinking skills. This research is a preliminary study that aims to describe the ability of critical thinking skills in learning science physics. Descriptive research method using google form. The research subjects were 33 students of SMP Negeri 59 Palembang. The results obtained are 25% of students are able to focus questions, 30% analyze questions, 32% consider reliable sources or not, 17% observe, consider observation reports, 39% do and consider deduction results, 38% do and consider induction results, 42% make and determine the value of judgment, 25% define, consider definitions, 21% identify assumptions, 44% determine actions, and 54% interact with others. The description of the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in the 4.0 industrial revolution era Physics science material is still in the low category, judging by the percentage of student responses. Suggestions for further research on efforts that can overcome the low critical thinking skills of junior high school students on Physics Science material.
