Abstract

This study aims to maintain the confidentiality of audio files sent using a combination of the Playfair cipher and Vigenere cipher methods. In this research, the object of research is an audio file with the extension wave or *.wav. This research requires several stages, including Audio Data Analysis, Determination of System Architecture, Implementation, Testing, and Results Analysis. The results of this study indicate that in the Vigenere Cipher 256 Encryption in audio wave files, the audio messages conveyed sound unclear or have no meaning. From the 6 trial datasets based on analysis of MAE and PSNR, the average value of the encryption process at PSNR was 28.345, and MAE was 97.0625. The average value of the decryption process on PSNR and MAE is 0.0, indicating that the decryption process is successful. The speed of the encryption and decryption process is affected by the audio file's size, which means that the larger the file size, the longer the encryption and decryption time.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital communication era, the demand for information security is escalating. Three main security techniques are required: cryptography, watermarking, and steganography. Despite cryptography and watermarking having detectability weaknesses, steganography emerges as a more reliable choice as it can conceal messages across various media without arousing suspicion. This article discusses the utilization of steganography, particularly the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique, for embedding messages within audio wave files as the medium. In this research, the author combines steganography with encryption using the Playfair Cipher algorithm to enhance overall data confidentiality. Implementation results demonstrate that the combination of LSB and Playfair methods effectively conceals messages without compromising audio quality. Evaluation of stego quality using PSNR indicates that audio quality remains high after embedding secret messages, with PSNR exceeding 40 dB. Despite successful message extraction during decoding, the message content remains protected and requires decryption to be read. In conclusion, the use of steganography in audio wave files with a combination of Playfair Cipher encryption and LSB methods proves to be an effective approach in preserving privacy and data confidentiality during transmission.

Abstract

Based on data released by APJII (Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers), the number of internet users in Indonesia in 2024 will reach 221,563,479 people from a total population of 278,696,200 people in Indonesia in 2023. This shows that 79.5% of the Indonesian population is currently active in using the internet to support various activities. Internet users are spread across various sectors, one of which is the education sector. SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir has been established since 1988, less than 2 kilometers around the location of SDN 004 there are 6 other schools. It is important for SDN 004 to be able to convince parents of prospective students in order to increase the number of students. To be able to achieve this goal, one way is to promote the school through a web-based application. The proposed solution is in the form of creating and training partner web profiles. Then the selection of the appropriate technology platform, application design, and implementation is carried out. The overall interview results were positive and provided solutions to the problems that had been discussed in the initial stage.

Abstract

The recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) is a land-based aquaculture facility, either open-air or indoors, that minimizes water consumption by filtering, adapting, and reusing water. Solid organic matter from fish waste and food waste directly becomes waste that needs to be eliminated because it is a source of increasing total ammonia nitrogen (TAN), total suspended solids (TSS), total dissolved solids (TDS), and also has an impact on reducing dissolved oxygen (DO). RAS requires a water level control system so the fish tank does not experience water shortages or floods, disrupting the aquatic aquaculture ecosystem. In this study, small-scale RAS is modeled using a 3-coupled tanks system approach with a tank configuration that follows the most straightforward RAS water recirculation process (fish tank, mechanic filter, biofilter). Clean water from the reservoir flows into the fish tank through a protein skimmer. This study applies the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) to control the water level in the protein skimmer and biofilter tanks by controlling the position of several valves where the placement positions of the valves have been determined according to system requirements. The study results show that the tuned single-input FLC has the best average output response characteristics with ts=50, h1ss=49.98, ess=0.02 in protein skimmer and ts=4700, h1ss=39.75, ess=0.25 in the tank system.

Abstract

E-voting adalah metode pemungutan suara digital yang mencakup seluruh proses dari pendaftaran hingga pengiriman hasil. E-voting telah menjadi topik yang populer di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Walaupun memiliki banyak keuntungan seperti efisiensi waktu dan biaya serta peningkatan akurasi, e-voting rentan terhadap serangan cyber yang dapat membahayakan integritas dan kerahasiaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengamankan data suara dalam database e-voting menggunakan metode kriptografi dengan algoritma RSA. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan algoritma RSA berhasil meningkatkan keamanan data suara, sehingga data terenkripsi tidak dapat diakses atau diubah oleh pihak yang tidak berwenang. Dengan demikian, algoritma RSA terbukti dapat diandalkan untuk memberikan perlindungan yang kuat terhadap data suara dalam sistem aplikasi e-voting.

Abstract

In this age of technology, digital image and video processing is a fairly desirable field of science. Digital image and video can be used in various fields, one of which is industry, this has led to the development of digital images and video in the rapidly developing world of technology. Along with the development of digital image technology, object recognition in the image requires an increase in the algorithm in this case is the extraction of image features which of course also develops in the application of video. Video is a collection of images that are recorded or acquired during a certain unit of time. In this study, feature extraction was carried out using Local Weighting Pattern. As the object of research used video data. The results of the analysis are based on feature extraction experiments that have been carried out in this research, if the difference between frames is more than 0.045, then there is a change in the frames, if it is less than equal to 0.045 then vice versa

Abstract

Hydroponic agriculture is a soilless plant cultivation method that is becoming increasingly popular in the modern era. However, hydroponic systems require strict monitoring of environmental parameters, especially temperature and pH, to ensure optimal plant growth. This research aims to design and build a temperature and pH monitoring system for hydroponic plants based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using a NodeMCU ESP-8266 microcontroller. The developed system consists of a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a pH sensor, a NodeMCU ESP-8266 microcontroller, and the ThingSpeak IoT platform. These sensors are used to measure the temperature and pH of the hydroponic nutrient solution in real-time. The collected data is then sent to the ThingSpeak platform via the WiFi connection integrated into the NodeMCU ESP-8266. The implementation of this system is expected to assist hydroponic farmers in efficiently monitoring and controlling their plants' environmental conditions, thereby increasing productivity and harvest quality. Further research can be conducted to integrate more parameters and develop automatic control systems based on the collected data.

Abstract

The development of a donation box system based on ESP32 and TCS3200 sensor aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of donation management previously conducted manually. This system is designed to detect and classify banknote denominations, display donation status on an OLED LCD, and send notifications through a Telegram bot. Testing of the TCS3200 sensor revealed that the RGB value ranges for Indonesian Rupiah banknotes from Rp 1,000 to Rp 100,000 vary, with minimum and maximum values for each color component. For example, Rp 1,000 banknotes have a blue color range of 6-9, green 7-9, and red 7-9. The sensor can detect banknote denominations accurately despite some instability in readings influenced by lighting conditions and color interference. The OLED LCD successfully displays messages corresponding to system conditions, and notifications via the Telegram bot are received properly under stable network conditions. This system functions effectively, facilitating monitoring and enhancing transparency in donation management.
