Abstract

This study examines the impact of biotechnology adoption, agricultural wastewater treatment, and government policies on the sustainability of organic agriculture in East Java, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 65 respondents through a Likert scale (1-5) questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that biotechnology adoption, effective wastewater treatment, and supportive government policies significantly enhance the sustainability of organic agriculture, with regression coefficients of 0.42, 0.35, and 0.38, respectively. The findings highlight the importance of integrating advanced technologies, improving resource management, and strengthening policy frameworks to promote sustainable farming practices. This study provides actionable insights for farmers, policymakers, and researchers aiming to enhance the sustainability of organic agriculture in East Java and beyond.

Abstract

Cabai merupakan tanaman yang memiliki komponen antioksidan yang tinggi, seperti asam askorbat, total fenol, dan pigmen karotenoid. Vitamin C dikenal dengan asam askorbat, merupakan vitamin yang larut air dan diperlukan untuk pertumbuhan dan perbaikan jaringan dalam tubuh. Pengukuran kandungan vitamin C penting dilakukan, untuk mengetahui kandungan vitamin C pada bubuk cabai. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kandungan vitamin C dengan menggunakan uji iodimetri. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Two Way-ANOVA dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 2 variabel perlakuan. Variable pertama adalah 4 varietas cabai yaitu cabai rawit merah, keriting, dorset naga dan carolina reaper. Variable kedua adalah lama pengeringan, dengan 3 level pengeringan yaitu 6 jam, 7 jam dan 8 jam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh nilai rerata tertinggi vitamin C pada R1 (Cabai rawit merah) selama T3 (8 jam) sebesar 4,5 %, kadar air 1,959 gram dengan rendemen 20,6 % dan rerata terendah vitamin C pada R1 (Cabai rawit merah) selama T1 (6 jam) sebesar 1,2 %, kadar air 1,971 gram dengan rendemen 20,2 %.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up opportunities for villages to improve the quality of public services and administrative documentation systems more efficiently and transparently. This service activity aims to improve the service and efficiency of village beautification, increase the capacity of village and kentong apparatus, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency in the use of information technology through training and socialization of village website management. The activity was carried out in the form of hands-on training for village officials and karangtaruna cadres regarding content management, information publication, and digital uploading of administrative documents from December 2024 to March 2025. The initial evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and brief interviews, which showed that most participants found the practical approach applied. However, it was found that there are still limitations in participants' confidence to manage websites independently, as well as the need for follow-up assistance, especially related to data security and digital document management. This activity is the first step in the digital transformation process at the village level. The limitation of this activity lies in the scope of implementation which is still limited to the initial socialization and training stage, without being followed by the full implementation stage and continuous monitoring. Follow-up in the form of technical assistance and advanced training is needed so that the use of the village web can run optimally and sustainably.
