Abstract

Herbal skincare products are becoming more popular nowadays as consumers’ concern regarding the negative side effects of synthetic ingredients are rising as well. XYZ is a newcomer herbal skincare brand from Indonesia and currently has not become one of the 10 famous cosmetic brands in Indonesia. This research was conducted to determine the description of consumer perceptions regarding the quality, price and safety of XYZ products and its influence on consumer loyalty. Questionnaires are distributed online by using google forms to make it easier to cover a wide area. Data collection is done by nonprobability sampling method using purposive and snowball sampling. There were 400 respondents obtained with the criteria of women who have bought and used XYZ products in Indonesia. This research used quantitative, qualitative and descriptive analysis methods. The obtained data was then analyzed by using multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software. Based on the conducted research, the results showed the average consumer agrees that XYZ has good product quality, affordable prices and safe to use. Perceived quality, price and safety have a significant effect on the XYZ consumer loyalty products, both partially and simultaneously. Quality perception has the strongest influence whereas, safety perception has the weakest influence on the consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed many things in consumer behavior, including in shopping for daily necessities. The flexibility and efficiency offered by digital technology have encouraged the two largest retail companies in Indonesia to develop a digital food convenience store platform as a strategy to improve service to their customers. By 2021, the developed food convenience store platform has been used by more than one million customers. However, some customers have complaints against the platforms. It means that there are platform attribute performances that need to be improved. This study aims to analyze the attributes of the digital food convenience store platform that users consider important and contribute significantly to its performance. The number of respondents in this study was 200 users of digital food convenience stores platforms, and the data obtained were analyzed by the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. As a result, there are 18 attributes that are considered extremely important by users: login methods, product diversity, user data security, delivery accuracy, product accuracy, customer service, shopping discount, shipping cost discount, direct delivery service and product compatibility. However, users rated that customer service, shopping discounts, and shipping discounts attribute did not meet their expectations. Overall, the performance of the digital food convenience store platform in Indonesia reached 85.83% of user expectations, so that the digital platform developer needs to concentrate on these three attributes so that the level of performance can be maximized and meet user expectations.

Abstract

Efforts to obtain safe and quality food include good food processing and management of a clean production environment. Implementation of good production by applying the CPPB-IRT food safety assurance system as a processing guideline. The basis of analysis uses 14 aspects, namely location and production environment, buildings and facilities, production equipment, facilities for providing water, sanitation facilities and practices, employee health and hygiene, maintenance and hygiene and cleanliness programs, storage, process control, food labeling, supervision from the person in charge, product recall, recording and documentation, and employee training. The research data collection used observation, interviews, checksheet filling and literature study. The results of the analysis based on BPOM regulation No. HK.03.1.23.04.12.2206 stated that CPPB-IRT in bolen production achieved a percentage conformity of 86.6% and a non-conformity of 13.4%. The assessment of non-conformity is found in the criteria in several aspects following the criteria from the aspects of buildings and facilities, employee health and hygiene, maintenance and cleaning and sanitation programs, storage, supervision by the person in charge, product recall, recording and documentation. The results of the analysis of BPOM regulation No. HK.03.1.23.04.12.2207 state that there are 4 out of 14 aspects of CPPB-IRT bias, namely in the aspects of buildings and facilities, employee health and hygiene, supervision by the person in charge, recording and documentation. Deviations in the implementation of GMP can be a reference for policy makers in creating regulations or strategies so that SMEs are able to implement GMP thoroughly
