Abstract

The sociolinguistic study is one of the interdisciplinary branches of sociology and linguistics with the object of language study as a means to communicate in the community. One of which is language selection. This study discusses the choice of language used by sellers and buyers and the factors behind the choice of language used by sellers and buyers in Blimbing Market, Malang. In general, this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection stage in this study used the listening method and proficient method. The data analysis stage used intralingual and extra lingual equivalents, presenting the results of data analysis using informal methods. The results showed that the interaction between the seller and the buyer was very communicative. The language selection in Blimbing market, Malng occurred in three forms: code-switching, code-mixing, and a single language. The factors behind the choice of language are 1) participant, 2) conversation topic, and 3) function (purpose and objective) of speech. There are four types of the participant a) familiarity, b) age differences, c) ethnic background and language of speakers, and d) the presence of third parties

Abstract

The injustice of women is still rampant today. People often use religious teachings to perpetuate patriarchal systems. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of women's justice in Islam from the perspective of Asghar Ali Engineer. This research uses qualitative methods with a library research approach, namely research conducted by reading the concept of equality of women used in the book "The Right of Women in Islam", data collection techniques in this study are carried out by reading, understanding, and examining parts of the book that are relevant to the theme of discussion, then content analysis is carried out to obtain a clear understanding of the information or data obtained. The result of this study is the concept of women's justice in Islam perspective Aghar Ali Engineer can be seen in his thoughts which are summarized on several themes, namely: Asghar criticism of women's justice, women's leadership, women's testimony, inheritance of women, women in marriage, and women and divorce. From these themes have shown about the various criticisms made by Asghar in order to defend women's justice, it can be understood that Asghar rejects various legal foundations that normatively degrade women.

Abstract

This study aims to examine deep learning-based learning innovations at MIN 8 Aceh Barat using a descriptive qualitative approach and data triangulation method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of teachers' understanding, learning implementation, and obstacles in applying deep learning. The results show that teachers understand deep learning as an approach emphasizing in-depth conceptual understanding, active student engagement, and the development of critical and creative thinking skills. However, its classroom application remains uneven due to limited formal training and varying teacher competencies. Many teachers are self-taught, resulting in inconsistent implementation. MIN 8 Aceh Barat has provided various learning media that support interactive and meaningful learning. The madrasah also plans technical guidance (bimtek) programs on deep learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and coding through the Teacher Working Group (KKG) and Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP) forums to enhance teacher capacity. This study provides a novel contribution by highlighting the contextual challenges and readiness of Islamic educational institutions in implementing deep learning, emphasizing the urgent need for structured and sustainable training to strengthen pedagogical innovation in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

This community service initiative was implemented at Balee Carong in Alue Buloh Village, an isolated rural community experiencing significant educational access limitations due to damaged bridge infrastructure. The geographical constraints had severely restricted children's opportunities for supplementary education, including tutoring programs and religious studies. The program aimed to enhance children's fundamental skills in Iqro' reading, memorization of short surahs and daily prayers, along with basic literacy and numeracy competencies through participatory and engaging learning methodologies. Employing Participatory Action Research (PAR) as its foundational framework, the project positioned university students as both facilitators and collaborative change agents working directly with the community. Over a 45-day implementation period, educational activities were delivered through interactive approaches including game-based learning, singing, storytelling, and various creative exercises tailored to local context. Implementation results demonstrated remarkable progress in both religious and academic dimensions among participating children. Quantitative and qualitative assessments revealed that the majority of children showed substantial advancement in Iqro' reading proficiency, with significant increases in memorization of Islamic prayers and short chapters from the Quran. Concurrently, participants exhibited marked improvement in basic reading, writing, and arithmetic capabilities. The program culminated in two significant closing events: a "Festival Anak Sholeh" (Righteous Children's Festival) serving as a comprehensive evaluation platform where children demonstrated their acquired knowledge, and an educational field trip designed as both a recreational activity and cultural enrichment experience. These outcomes substantiate that the PAR methodology, when implemented through emotional engagement strategies, active community participation, and enjoyable pedagogical techniques, effectively enhances educational quality for children in underserved remote areas. The study offers valuable insights for educational practitioners and policymakers seeking to address educational disparities in isolated communities through contextually appropriate interventions.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif di kalangan remaja usia sekolah menengah atas semakin meningkat seiring dengan kemudahan akses terhadap platform belanja daring dan pembayaran non-tunai di era digital. Banyak siswa belum memiliki kebiasaan menabung secara konsisten, sehingga uang saku habis untuk konsumsi harian tanpa perencanaan yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menanamkan kesadaran pentingnya menabung sejak dini, mendorong pengelolaan uang saku yang lebih bijak, serta mengurangi kecenderungan perilaku konsumtif di kalangan siswa. Program dilaksanakan pada 26 Februari 2026 di Aula MAS Darussyariah Banda Aceh, dengan peserta sebanyak 52 orang terdiri atas guru dan siswa. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi seminar interaktif, pelatihan, simulasi penyusunan rencana keuangan pribadi, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep pengelolaan uang saku, pengendalian konsumsi, dan strategi menabung yang realistis dan aplikatif. Peserta menghasilkan lembar kerja rencana keuangan pribadi dan berkomitmen membangun kebiasaan menabung secara konsisten. Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud nyata peran Program Studi Manajemen dan Akuntansi Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia dalam mendorong literasi keuangan generasi muda. Kata kunci: perilaku menabung, pengelolaan uang saku, pengendalian konsumsi, literasi keuangan, siswa madrasah.
