Abstract

This research is motivated by the important roles of the Kedonganan people to gather in a fishing group community to develop of tourism activityin Kedonganan Beach. Fishermen Group in Kedonganan Beach is required to become a tourism actors with many demands of tourists that visiting to Kedongananvillage of FishermenGroup.The purpose of this research to find out the forms of involvement or the roles by fishermen group in supporting the tourism activity ini Kedonganan village. The type of data in this study usedescriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use in this research are interviews, study documentsorliterature.Techniques of informan determining use dept interviews with determining the key informan. The key informant which is selected in this study is Putra Bali’s Fishermen Group in Kedonganan village. The data analysis techniques are uingData Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The research concludes that fishermen group hasan important role in tourism activity in Kedongananvillage, there arein economic, social, cultural, environmental, and political. But there are problemsof the role of the fishermen in the field of the environment, because it is less in keeping it clean, the plastic waste and used garbage incinerator make badsights and the sand starts to dirty.The fishing groups should form a section in them organizational structure that works specifically to maintain the cleanliness of the beach area. They should alsoadd some attractions, which besides being a tourist guide who wants to see the beauty beneath the sea, the fishing activity such as knitting nets can also be used as an educational tour on marine fisheries. Thus, tourists canalso invited to participate in fishing activity, and diving to study marine tourism, and preservation. Abstract

The strategy forming tourist attraction to attract repeating guest is by developing entertainment tourism which offers sense of pleasure, satisfaction, and valuable experience. Uluwatu Kecak Fire Dance in Outer Area Uluwatu Temple was recognized as the most famous entertainment forms by domestic visitors. This aim of study is to identifying characteristics and measuring perception of domestic visitors to Uluwatu Kecak Fire Dance based on seven operational dimensions of entertainment tourism (Learning, Enjoyment, Escape, Refreshment, Novelty, Involvement, and Local Culture). The research used qualitative method with data collection techniques are questionnaire (number of samples were 65 respondents) and literature study. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis with continuum lines. The results showed that the perception of 65 domestic visitors for entertainment tourism in Uluwatu Temple were strongly agreed on Learning (277.5) and Enjoyment (285). While perception that were agreed are Escape (227), Refreshment (248.5), Novelty (259.25), Involvement (266), and Local Culture (272.33). In determining the dominant indicators of each dimension of entertainment tourism, the author uses the highest frequency capacity value. The three dimensions with highest average value are Enjoyment (285), Learning (277.5), and Local Culture (272.33). The administrator Outer Area Uluwatu Temple emphasize strategies that can maintain the three dimensions of entertainment tourism that have a dominant value, which is the Enjoyment dimension, Learning dimension, and the Local Culture dimension. Abstract

This article seeks to find a sustainable model of handling refugees based on the kind of social solidarity that builds between refugees and tourism entrepreneurs amid the disaster. The research took place in Kerta Tourism Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali with the consideration of the unique phenomenon of productive and professional working relationship between the two actors. This fact is seen as able to deconstruct the stereotype of refugees as a group that only needs pity, resulting in a "santa claus" model of assistance. The implementation of research uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach to describe and explain phenomena or relationships between phenomena that are systematically reviewed, factual and accurate. The results showed the following findings: (i) economic settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are framed in the context of semi-productive relations; (ii) social settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are built on mechanical solidarity; and (iii) cultural settings between refugees and entrepreneurs are framed in the context of a volatile patron-client relationship, as well as (iv) the discovery of formulations in the form of participatory models of tourism stakeholders in the context of catastrophic eruptions.Keywords: Tourism Entrepreneurs, Refugees, Disaster Eruptions, Collaborative Models

Abstract

The economic disparity that occurred in Badung Regency, Bali was caused by the rapid development of tourism that does not align with the development of the agricultural sector in the north. This then pushed the Pelaga Tourism Village millennial to urbanize into the southern regions to continue education and to obtain employment. This research aims to analyze the role that millennials can do as cross-cutting interpreters in the development of Pelaga Tourism Village. This research uses qualitative data with two data sources: primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used in this research are library studies, observations, interviews, and documentation. In determining the informants is used as a purposive sampling technique. In this study, the data analysis technique used is descriptive-qualitative. The results showed that the role of the millennial generation in the development and management of tourism villages has been very minimal. This is very unfortunate considering the millennial has the ability as cross-cutting interpreters and as well as rich in innovation and much-needed creativity in the development of tourism villages. The role that can be performed by millennials in developing tourist villages is by establishing BUMDes as an organization for tourism village management. Millennials should also conduct mapping and development of several tourism potentials in each Banjar by prioritizing the aspect of diversification. At the marketing and promotion stage, millennials who are technologically literate can utilize digital media as a means to introduce and offer tourism products. Abstract

The eruption of Mount Agung has an immense impact on Bali, especially in the economic sector of the tourism business. The locations which are far from Gunung Agung have been affected especially in the Southern part of Bali which has a higher growth of tourism compared to the rest. This is interesting to study especially in the tourism related business namely the Batu Bolong Beach area. The purpose of this study is to determine the post- eruption implications of Mount Agung that have hit Bali in terms of the socio-economic aspects of tourism stakeholders and the existing business conditions in the Batu Bolong Beach area. As well as knowing the crisis management system in the tourism in Batu related business at Batu Bolong Beach and seeking at the situation and condition those who work for tourism related businesses at the Batu Bolong Beach area.The research methodology used in this study is qualitative research. Where qualitative uses in-depth interview techniques, observations and qualitative documents as well as using the concept of socio-economic impacts of tourism to see the socio-economic impacts arising from the eruption of Mount Agung. The results shows the conditions of tourism businesses after the eruption, theses include: type of business, product range and price, tourist visits, post-eruption economic income. Another result is the socioeconomic condition of tourism stakeholder in the Batu Bolong Beach area. Key word: Implication social economic tourism, Mount Agung Eruption, Tourism business

Abstract

Art shop in Tegallalang is one of the businesses that were built by the community with a small capital as well as the livelihoods of local communities. The expansion of the art shop in Tegallalang causing the large number of tourists visiting Tegallalang, it is also supported by the presence of a tourism destination with the beauty of rice fields across the village that is known for its slender stones. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, i.e. by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library studies and questionnaires. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique and determination of the sample using the quota sampling and accidental sampling. The result of this study show a marketing strategy that can be used by traders to face competition that is creating cultural tourism atttractions activities, introducing product manufacturing techniques to consumer, improving the ability in technologi, providing parking lots and transit places, providing facilities that can facilitate employes in work, improving quality or multiplaying product models, working with other in buying raw materials, make arrangement of prices agreement with other art shop and angage in English training. Abstract

ABSTRACT Effect on the development of tourism and economy wide employment opportunities for the people including women. Understanding in society that women are only responsible for the domestic sector, and the public sector only the responsibility of men. This is not always true because there are also women working public sector, workers are women postcard sellers. Therefore the inclusion of women into the public world, requires women to be able to complete the task of domestic primary responsibility.To uncover problems in the research using primary and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is also quantitative and qualitative data. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, and library research. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the role of women in the domestic sector postcard sellers are set up housekeeping (cleaning the house, washing clothes, cooking, cleaning the home furnishings), child care, and social activities in the community such as cremation, temple ceremony, marriage. The role of the public sector women are selling postcard.

Abstract

Location of this research in Sendang Duwur district of Lamongan. The condition of tourism Sendang Duwur Village have big potential in giving economic contribution to local society. This is the purpose of this research. Based on the above research that revealed three problems, namely what the uniqueness from tourism product in Sendang Duwur Village, how was the tourist shopping behavior in Sendang Duwur Tourism Village, And how was contribution of Sendang Duwur Tourism Village for Local Comunnity Economic. To express the above problem this research using primary and secondary data source, while type of data used is the qualitative data and quantitative data. The technique in order to obtain the validity of data using flow model method and quantitative analyzing. Data which collect by questionnaire, in-depht interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study related to tourism product unique of Sendang Duwur Tourism Village as attraction, amenities, accessibility and ancillary services. The type of tourist shopping behavior is tourist who like to look for variety with percentage of 80%. Sendang Duwur Tourism Village has not contributed optimally to improve community local economic because visitor spending whose amount is determind by length of stay cannot be used because there is no tourist staying. Tourist only make shorts visit. Some advice will be given for the local people so that keep specificity of tourism product. For the government to more active to promote Sendang Duwur Village to be known to many people. Keywords : contribution economy, tourism village, local community

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to compare the waste management system used in the Tourism Attraction of Candikusuma Beach Jembrana and Kuta Beach Badung, and to compare each waste management system. Comparisons are made to find out the similarities, differences, advantages and disadvantages of each waste management system. The method used in this research is qualitative. This type of research is a comparative study. The data source used is a secondary data source. This research is based on research results from Prabawa (2019) and Megawan (2018) research. The results of this study show that the waste management system at Candikusuma Beach Jembrana uses a 3R waste management system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), while Kuta Beach Badung uses a 4P waste management system (Sorting, Processing, Collecting, Transporting). There are similarities and differences in the two waste management systems, and there are also weaknesses and strengths of each waste management system. Abstract

This research analyzed the rural heritage tourism development strategy in Tamkesi, North Cental Timor Regency as a tourism destination. This research uses qualitative approaches. Data collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. This research used qualitative data analysis. The informant collection techniques used purposive sampling. Tamkesi Traditional Village has tangible heritage and untangibile heritage which can become a tourism main attraction. The results showed that tourism potentials of the village of Tamkesi such as natural tourism resources, accessibility and some tourism facilities and infrastructure are inadequate. Strategies that can assist in developing cultural tourism in rural area heritage in Tamkesi Village are: by knowing the type of cultural amenities in Tamkesi village, that were tangible and intangible heritage facilities. The tourism potentials of the village of Tamkesi among others natural tourism resources, cultural, heritage, accessibility and supporting facilities which have not been packed and managed well, and some tourism facilities and infrastructure are inadequate.
