Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the influence of the use of the discussion method on the Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Studies Subjects for class VIII at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. The method used in this study was a quantitative approach with descriptive research type (relationship study). The variables researched (X) with (Y). Based on the data analysis, the researchers concluded that: 1) The use of the Group Discussion Method for class VIII had a moderate category with data acquisition as many as 30 (67.4%) students in thatcategory. 2) Social Studies Subject Learning Outcomes obtained from the data processing results obtained as many as 33 (64.71%) students In the medium category who obtained learning outcomes more than the Maximum Completeness Criteria (KKM). 3) The magnitude of the influence of the use of the Group Discussion Method on the Learning Outcomes of Social Studies Subjects Class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak resulted in the value of t count ≥ t table (3,685≥2,010) thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the R2 test, it was obtained that the magnitude of the effect of using the group discussion  method on learning outcomes was 20.1%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by life student"™s lifestyle when hanging out in coffe shop that are becoming popular in student circles. In practice, the lifestyle hanging out in coffe shop can have an impact on student ecomonic reguler A FKIP Untan. This research also use a qualitative method with a case study approach, data collection techniques by interview with voice recorde on andoid and documentation. The object of this research were students of FKIP Untan economic education reguler A 2019 "“ 2020. The result of this study is that activities carried out by college student when hanging out in coofe shop, doing college chores, silaturahmi, and playing online game, measures taken to determine the student"™s lifestyle when hanging out in coffe shop using the AIO concept. Researchers also found that the intensity students of FKIP Untan economic education reguler A activities in hanging out at high coffe shop led to some consumtive behavior.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi digital terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi pada peserta didik kelas XII di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. Penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam jenis penelitian Ex Post Facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XII  yang terdiri dari 124 peserta didik. Dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu 95 peserta didik, dengan menggunakan teknik Proportional  random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata literasi digital sebesar 75,03 dengan kategori baik dan nilai hasil belajar adalah 80,21 dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai sig 0,004, dengan kriteria sig 0,004 < α 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh literasi digital terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Kubu.

Abstract

Economics learning in secondary schools is often dominated by lecture methods, causing students to become passive and less able to connect concepts with real-life contexts. This condition affects their understanding of basic economic concepts, particularly production and consumption. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the discussion method in improving students’ comprehension of production and consumption concepts at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkayang. This research employed a descriptive approach with 30 purposively selected tenth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through classroom observations, pre-test and post-test, as well as interviews, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ comprehension, as indicated by the increase in the average score from 65 in the pre-test to 82 in the post-test after implementing the discussion method. Moreover, observations and interviews showed that the discussion encouraged students to express their opinions confidently, enhanced collaboration skills, and fostered learning motivation. These results align with constructivist theory, which emphasizes the importance of social interaction and active learning experiences in building understanding. The study concludes that the discussion method contributes not only to the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes but also to the development of students’ affective and social aspects. The practical contribution of this research is to recommend that teachers integrate discussions more frequently in Economics learning, particularly in applied topics, and for schools to provide supporting facilities to ensure effective implementation.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior is characterized by an individual's tendency to spend money on shopping, both offline and online, without considering the priority scale. In this case, financial literacy has a role to play in avoiding consumer behavior and encouraging wiser use of social media. The objectives of this research: 1) The influence of financial literacy on adolescent consumer behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency. 2) The Influence of Social Media on Teenage Consumer Behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency. 3) The Simultaneous Influence of Financial Literacy and Social Media on Teenage Consumptive Behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The research method is quantitative. The sample consisted of 200 teenagers. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show: 1) The influence of financial literacy on adolescent consumer behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. 2) The influence of social media on adolescent consumer behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. 3) Simultaneous Influence of Financial Literacy and Social Media on Adolescent Consumptive Behavior in Kubu Village, Kubu Raya Regency with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is not constant and can be influenced by various external factors such as socio-economic conditions and accessibility to educational resources. The aim of this research is to analyze: 1) The influence of socio-economic conditions on students' learning motivation at Sengah Temila State High School. 2)The Effect of Accessibility on Students' Learning Motivation at Sengah Temila State High School. 3) The simultaneous influence of socio-economic conditions and accessibility on students' learning motivation at SMA Negeri 2 Sengah Temila. The research approach is quantitative research with ex-post facto methods. The research sample was 89 students at SMA Negeri 2 Sengah Temila. data collection method using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the research show:1) Socioeconomic conditions have a significant effect on students' learning motivation at SMA Negeri 2 Sengah Temila with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. 2) Accessibility has a significant effect on the learning motivation of class students at SMA Negeri 2 Sengah Temila with a sig value of 0.043 < 0.05. 3)Socioeconomic conditions and accessibility simultaneously have a significant effect on students' learning motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Sengah Temila with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study was conducted at SMK Immanuel II Kubu Raya. The purpose of this study was to find out if school culture supports the performance of teachers in SMK Immanuel II. The research model used in this work is a descriptive qualitative study. The informants for this study consisted of three economics teachers. The data collection techniques used in this study were interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study show the support of school culture for teacher performance. The teachers of this school receive support in their work in the form of good habits, for example, the skill of teachers in dealing with existing teaching materials. The school culture here also supports teachers to become better personalities and also to take responsibility for their work. The researcher's advice to teachers is that by applying the existing culture, the teacher becomes a respected person both in the school environment and in the wider community.
