Abstract

The tight competition between Indonesia and other developed countries in mastering the market share both within and outside the country resulted in MSMEs should think hard to determine the pattern of marketing strategy and provide good product quality. Kasongan Pottery Industrial Center has penetrated its product market to Asian and European countries, then the need for the right promotional strategy to remain in demand abroad. Based on the findings, the pattern of Gerabah marketing strategy still needs to be improved because there is a tendency of knowledge shortage and awareness of craftsmen about the importance of promotion and lack of funding in promoting promotion. Then there is the need for awareness of knowledge improvement through Training and participation of commitments with the government and related agencies in promoting marketing. Key Word: Promotion Strategy, Marketing of MSMEs Products

Abstract

Economic potential is the capacity of an area that contains potential resources, both natural resources and human resources, to be developed and become an opportunity in improving the community’s economy by looking at the real income of the people in that place. One way that can be done to improve the community’s economy is optimizing the superior plants in the area. Economic development can be done by maximizing the effect of commodities that already exist and cultivated for a long time. Puundoho Village is one of the villages with superior crops grown, namely Patchouli. Patchouli oil has high economic value because it contains compounds, terpenoids, phytosterols, flavonoids, organic acids, lignin, alkaloids, glycosides, alcohol, and aldehydes are used in the health and cosmetic fields. The purpose of the study was to see the feasibility of the economic potential of Patchouli (P. cablin) in Puundoho Village using Analisis Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). The research was conducted from January to February 2021. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative. It was collecting data through observation and interviews. The results ratio showed 5,86, so it can be interpreted that Patchouli Industry is feasible to develop.

Abstract

This study examined pepper cultivation's economic potential and feasibility in Purehu Village, Purehu District, North Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The research was conducted from January until February 2021. The research approach used by the author is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection in this study was carried out through in-depth interviews with informants, observation, and documentation. The informant or subject of this research is the head of a farmer's family in Purehu Village. The variable of this research was the economic potential and feasibility cultivation of pepper—analysis of data using income cost difference (R-C) and Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). The results showed that pepper cultivation (P. nigrum) in Purehu Village, Purehu District, could generate an average profit of IDR84.000.000 for the first harvest, and pepper cultivation in that area is very worth continuing based on the R/C ratio. The study concludes that pepper cultivation in Purehu Village has very high economic potential (good) because the farmers' profits are quite large each year, and pepper cultivation in that place is very feasible to continue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran, kendala, dan solusi dari penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa dalam mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip good governance (partisipasi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas) di desa Emparu, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala desa, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat, dan peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dan data sekunder yang di dapatkan dari pemerintahan desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran penyelenggaraan prinsip-prinsip good governance di desa emparu sudah cukup baik, ditandai dengan pada prinsip partisipasi terdapat pengambilan keputusan bersama, adanya pemahaman penyelenggara negara tentang partisipastif, terdapat perubahan sikap masyarakat menjadi lebih peduli, terdapat peningkatan kritik dan saran oleh masyarakat. Pada prinsip transparansi tersedianya informasi yang memadai, meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat, adanya akses informasi yang mudah diperoleh. Pada prinsip akuntabilitas terdapat sanksi yang ditetapkan apabila terdapat kelalaian, adanya kesesuaian antara pelaksanaan dengan SOP, dan terdapat laporan pertanggungjawaban. Pada penyelenggaraannya juga mempunyai kendala seperti sulitnya mencapai suatu keputusan saat musyawarah.

Abstract

The eco-tourism program benefits much the community, where social culture and local wisdom of the people in each of regions preserve their custom, culture and sustainability differently. This study aims to determine the role of community and the role of local wisdom, the inhibiting and supporting factors, as well as the impact of the ecotourism program based on local wisdom in increasing the people's income. The research method used was a case study with a qualitative research type. The data sources for this study consisted of key informants including the Head of Dusun (Hamlet) and the Head of the Kaban Mayas Tourism Management Group, as well as regular informants including 7 (seven) local people from the Meliau hamlet. The methods of collecting data used were in-depth interviews and observation. The result of this study reveals that the role of the community is very important because local knowledge they have can help the implementation of ecotourism, where the community contributes to providing homestay, consumption, transportation and local guide or porter services and the ecotourism program is regulated by customary rules living in the community. The factor inhibiting the ecotourism program is mainly related to access to transportation, while the factor supporting is related to natural potency, cultural potency, animal diversity, and public awareness. The ecotourism program in Meliau Hamlet has a positive impact on community income, because the community has additional sources of income from managing homestay services, transportation services, and local guides. In addition, it also has an impact on improving the quality of processed non-timber forest products so that they have a fairly high selling value and also helps the marketing process. The findings of this study is expected to be taken into account in formulating local government policies in supporting the participation of local communities in ecotourism areas so as to increase their income.

Abstract

Tujuan dari riset ini untuk menemukan permasalahan mengenai implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam budaya sekolah di SMPN 8 Teluk Keramat. Dipilih penelitian kualitatif sebagai bentuk penelitian dan metode deskriptif sebagai metodenya. Sebagai Informan Penelitian dari warga sekolah yakni kepala sekolah, guru dan para peserta didik. Teknik dalam mengumpulkan data digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam budaya sekolah dilakukan melalui berbagai macam kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian. Kegiatan rutin berupa: jumat bersih, upacara bendera, membaca Al Quran sebelum belajar, salat dzuhur berjamaah di mushola sekolah, dan berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar. Bentuk kegiatan spontan: memberikan bantuan sumbangan terhadap warga sekolah yang membutuhkan, razia kerapian rambut, dan razia handphone. Kegiatan keteladanan berupa: kerapian pakaian tenaga pendidik, dan kedisiplinan tenaga pendidik. Kegiatan pengkondisian berupa: slogan-slogan, ruang kelas bersih dan rapi, lingkungan sekolah yang bersih dan hijau, toilet peseta didik yang bersih, tempat sampah yang tersedia diseluruh lingkungan sekolah, dan keran air yang tersedia disetiap kelas dan penjuru sekolah. Dari keseluruhan kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian maka akan memunculkan integritas, nasionalisme, karakter religius, jiwa gotong royong dan sikap mandiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter keagamaan melalui budaya sekolah di SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru PPKn, guru PAI, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter keagamaan melalui sekolah di SMA Mujahidin Pontianak melalui kegiatan rutin, keteladanan, kegiatan spontan dan pengkondisian. Kegiatan rutinnya adalah sholat berjamaah, membaca surah pendek Al-Qur'an dan berdoa sebelum dan sebelum pembelajaran, infaq setiap hari jum'at, dan piket kelas Kegiatan keteladanan dari cara berpakaian yang rapi dan sopan serta disiplin dari kepala sekolah, guru,tenaga administrasi dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya. Kegiatan spontan pemberian santunan jika ada warga yang sukhaekha. Pengkondisian berupa penyediaan fasilitas seperti mushola, tempat wudhu yang terpisah antara putra dan putri, tempat penyimpanan Al-Qur'an, slogan/poster yang berkarakter, penyediaan tempat sampah dan lingkungan sekolah yang bersih dan rapi.

Abstract

Research about analysis concept theory of planned behavior towards entrepreneurship learning and economic family education for UMKM people in Pontianak city has been conducted. The aim of the research is to analyze of application the variables in theory of Planned behavior to entrepreneurship learning and economic family education for UMKM people in Pontianak city and to analyze the partial and simultant influence of the application of variables in the Theory of Planned Behavior concept. The research method is a survey, non-experimental, and is a correlational study. Population in this study were people UMKM in Pontianak City who had attended entrepreneurship learning by the local government amounted to 418, the sample fixed as 204 by using the Slovin formula. The data were analysis by description and regression using SPSS programs. Result showed the variables in Theory of Planned Behavior concept in their application to UMKM people in Pontianak all in quite good categories. The variables in Theory of Planned Behavior consisting of Attitudes, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Behavioral Intensions partially and simultant have a significant effect on entrepreneurship learning and Economic family Education to UMKM people in Pontianak City

Abstract

This research aimed to see the entrepreneurial potential of diversification of Zingiberaceae products based on local wisdom in Sajoanging Subdistrict, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi. Location determination has been done by the purposive sampling method. The focus of the study was the utilization of Zingiberaceae based on local wisdom. The subject of the study was the local food product processing society. Data collection techniques are done through interviews. Data analysis methods are used qualitatively. The results showed that Zingiberaceae is found in Sajoanging Subdistrict and has entrepreneurial potential namely fesse, onnyi, onnyi pute, likku, temmu, Cekku, fanini and lippujang. The entrepreneurial potential of diversification of Zingiberaceae products based on local wisdom in Sajoanging Subdistrict, Wajo Regency is utilized as a traditional medicinal ingredient, among others used as headache, cough, itchy medicine, stomach pain medicine, internal medicine, and heat reduction. As a traditional cosmetic, namely as a material for making bedda tettu, bedda, lotong and pappisau. As a traditional culinary, it is used in the manufacture of nasu likku, nasu palekko and sarabba. It means that Zingiberaceae can process into various products that have added value and encourage economic growth in the village.

Abstract

Sustainable Entrepreneurship emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the environment and social in running a business without looking at profit only, so that the sustainability of the business and its natural surroundings are maintained properly. This study aims to determine the perception of SMEs on the indicators of People, Profit, and Planet in the concept of Sustainable Entrepreneurship. The approach chosen in this research is quantitative using descriptive method and is included in the type of cross-sectional study. The population is an infinite population, namely SMEs in 3 districts/cities in West Kalimantan with special considerations, with a total sample of 75 SMEs taken by incidental sampling and determined by certain criteria. Collecting data through questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The research findings show that SME actors consider the concept of Sustainable Entrepreneurship important to be applied in their business based on people, profit and planet indicators, where planetary indicators are seen from the workforce, community and partners; profit indicators are seen from benefits and networks; as well as planetary indicators in terms of environmental resources and technology. The implication of this research is that it can be considered by local governments in implementing sustainable entrepreneurship policies.
