Program pemberdayaan masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan idealnya dilaksanakan tidak dengan sekali waktu. Hal ini menjadi sangat penting untuk menjaga aspek keberlanjutan dan mencapai tujuan secara maksimal. Masyarakat di perdesaan menjadi sasaran program pemberdayaan mengingat banyak sekali permasalahan yang ada di sana. Data statistik menunjukkan sebaran penduduk miskin nasional mayoritas berada di wilayah perdesaan. Salah satu metode untuk mengurangi angka kemiskinan adalah melalui pengembangan desa wisata. Tujuan dari program pendampingan desa wisata ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat di Desa Wisata Bejijong khususnya dalam bidang pengelolaan homestay dan pemasaran daring produk kerajinan warga. Tahapan dalam program pemberdayaan ini melalui tiga metode yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, diskusi, dan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan kompetensi warga mengalami peningkatan ke arah yang lebih baik. Hasil kegiatan ini diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner (pre tes dan pos tes) dan dihitung dengan skala likert.

The role of government in the development of Community Based Tourism (CBT) is very important to strengthen communities around the tourism destination. Government has significant role to ensure that the community has accesses, opportunities and an important power in the development of tourism. The objectives of this research are: (1) describe the government's perception of the Community Based Tourism (CBT) development, (2) identifying government policies to support the Community Based Tourism (CBT) implementation in Batu City, East Java, and (3) describe the constraints that occur in the implementation of Community based Tourism (CBT) in Batu City, East Java. This study uses qualitative approach by analyzing critical reality, being constructed locally and specifically. The study was conducted in Batu City, East Java. Perceptions of government on the implementation of community-based tourism reflected the mindset of the individual. The community-based tourism development in Batu city is considered the same as rural tourism development. The Government supervise the development of tourism products, especially the tourist village. To support the existence of a tourist village Department of Tourism and Creative Economy help develop and market promotion. Barriers to the implementation of community-based tourism development with regard to the internal aspects of the government: the quality of human resources decision makers in the Batu Government do not possess educational background of tourism, government people less creative design programs and somewhat forced, the lack of trust the government to local communities, government is not able to map the condition social community related to the system's internal decision-making in the community that are less able to intervene in all components of society, a narrow understanding of CBT, and yet solid government policy coordination between stakeholders. While the external barriers are lack of insight into the capabilities and limitations of the community in terms of tourism, community participation uneven, limited area of Batu, less technological mastery, and the effects of global warming are affecting the climate and cause decreased production and quality apples.

Ideally, community empowerment programs in rural areas should not be implemented once in a while. This is very important to maintain the aspect of sustainability and achieve the goals maximally. People in rural areas are the target of empowerment programs considering the many problems that exist there. Statistical data shows that the distribution of the majority of the national poor is in rural areas. One method of reducing poverty is through the development of tourist villages. The purpose of this community service program is to increase the understanding and skills of the community in Bejijong Tourism Village, especially in the field of homestay management and online marketing of citizen handicraft products. The stages in this empowerment program through three methods, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation method was carried out with focus group discussions with residents and field observations. The method of implementation is carried out by the methods of socialization, training and mentoring. Meanwhile, the evaluation method is carried out through discussions with partners. The results of this activity indicate that the understanding and competence of citizens has increased for the better. Penelitian ini bertaujuan untuk menganalisis pengalaman kerja, kompetensi melalui pengembangan SDM terhadap kinerja pegawai di BPSDM. Sampel responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 73 pegawai dan pemilihan sampel yang digunakan melalui kuesioner dengan simple random sampling. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan Structure Equation Models (SEM) dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman kerja memiliki nilai 0,283 pada original sampel yang berarti memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kompetensi dengan nilai 0,274 yang berarti bahwa kompetensi memberikan pengaruh yang positif kepada kinerja pegawai, pengembangan SDM mendapatkan nilai original sample 0,385 yang artinya bahwa pengembangan SDM berpengaruh positip terhadap kinerja.

The issue of global warming El Nino is a weather phenomenon in which there is an increase in water surface temperature in the Pacific Ocean which results in significant changes in climate in various regions in the world, including Indonesia. In this study, the traits, well-liked works, writers, and topics connected with the Climate Village initiative are described. Â The purpose of this study is to map and provide a brief overview of the bibliometrics of climate village programs that can be used to examine trends, patterns, and developments. This research uses article publication data sourced from the Scopus database from 2000-2023 with the theme of With the VOSviewer tool, the climate village program or climate village program gathered 60 papers written by Indonesian authors. Â The results showed that articles with the theme of climate village programs by Indonesian authors in the Scopus database were first published in 2014. Articles with the theme of the climate village program were published the most in 2021 (18 documents) while the journal that published the most was Lop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science. Most journal affiliations are from Universitas Gadjah Mada and Universitas Sebelas Maret. Most journals are published in the United States, India, and Indonesia. The most common subject is Environmental Science. Keywords related to the climate village program include Community, development, resilience, Climate change, strategy, impact, case study, program, Indonesia, and environmental change.

The largest market share in the post-pandemic era is controlled by Middle Eastern countries, as evidenced by the fact that the football industry currently owns clubs from there. On the other hand, there are also increasing requests from Muslim tourists who want to carry out their lifestyle by religious teachings. The tourism industry must respond by facilitating halal tourism because most Middle Eastern tourists are Muslim. This study aims to map and briefly describe the bibliometrics of the halal tourism business that can be used to examine trends, patterns, and developments. This study used article publication data from the Scopus database from 1997-2023 with the theme "halal tourism business" and obtained 60 articles using the VOSviewer application. The results showed that articles with the theme of the halal tourism business in the Scopus database were first published in 1997. The most published articles with the theme of the halal tourism business were in 2022 (12 documents), while the journal that published the most was "Journal of Islamic Marketing". The most affiliated journals are from the University of Malaysia Kelantan, the most published journals are from Indonesia, and the most subjects are business, management, and accounting. Keywords related to the halal tourism business include Islamic religion, Muslim traveler, halal tourism, halal tourism products, halal business, and halal tourism industry.

The dynamics of modernisation and globalisation threaten the preservation of local traditions and cultural identity of local communities which include challenges to maintain traditional cultural values and practices amidst social, economic, and cultural changes caused by modernisation and global influences. The results show that the uniqueness of local culture, celebrations, and traditional festivals in Jalan Tunjungan which are maintained through the active role of local residents become an important pillar in maintaining tradition and cultural heritage in Tunjungan area, while strengthening its identity as an urban cultural heritage site in the midst of modernisationiterature study and interview which then analysed by contextual interpretation and data triangulation. The results show that the uniqueness of local culture, celebrations, and traditional festivals in Jalan Tunjungan which are maintained through the active role of local residents become an important pillar in maintaining tradition and cultural heritage in Tunjungan area, while strengthening its identity as an urban cultural heritage site in the midst of modernisation.

Pedesaan merupakan wilayah yang potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi objek wisata. Kekayaan alam, budaya dan tata cara hidup di desa merupakan salah satu daya tarik untuk dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata. Berkembangnya otonomi daerah main mendorong banyak wilayah yang mengembangkan pedesaan sebagai destinasi wisata. Pada masa pandemic covid- 19 pengembangan wisata didesain dapat diarahkan pada buku wisata sehat berbasis sport tourism. Desa Tanggung memiliki potensi wisata yang beragam. Ikon utamanya adalah Gunung Budheg yang merupakan aset alam yang sebagai destinasi wisata pendakian, camping, outbond dan wisata religi. Pasca Pandemi COVID-19 perlu dikembangkan wisata alternatif sesuai perubahan minat wisatawan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan upaya pendampingan Desa Wisata Tanggung dalam mengembangkan sport tourism. Kegiatan Pengmas terdiri (1) sosialisasi tentang Desa Wisata, (2) pelatihan Pemetaan Potensi Sport Tourism, (3) Pelatihan implementasi CHSE bagi Pokdarwis, dan (4) penguatan kelembagaan Desa Wisata. Kegiatan sosialisasi Desa Wisata dilaksanakan tanggal 11 Agustus 2021 diikuti Ketua dan Pengurus Pokdarwis, tokoh masyarakat Desa Tanggung. Sebagai tindak lanjut dilakukan Penandatanganannya dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Tanggung oleh Dekan Fakultas Vokasi Unair dan Kepala Desa Tanggung pada tanggal 25 September bersamaan dengan penyerahan bantuan sepeda sekaligus launching kegiatan “Ngontel Sobo Deso”. Pelatihan CHSE dilakukan dengan sasaran pengurus dan Ketua Pokdarwis agar pasca Pandemi masih tetap menjaga aspek kebersihan, kesehatan, keamanan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Pelaksanaan Pengmas ditutup dengan kegiatan penguatan kelembagaan Desa Wisata antara lain berkaitan dengan penguatan peran Pokdarwis dalam mengelola Desa Wisata.

Generation Z plays a crucial role in shaping the tourism industry, distinguished by its unique characteristics and strong digital expertise. Using bibliometric analysis, this study examined 192 publications indexed in the Scopus database between 2018 and 2024. The findings indicate an increasing interest among academics after 2020, with a focus on collaborative efforts and global contributions. Key themes include social media, sustainability, and virtual reality, reflecting evolving research directions in Generation Z's travel preferences. Based on these findings, future studies should explore longitudinal analyses and cross-cultural comparisons to refine tourism strategies, leveraging innovative technologies and marketing approaches to increase the engagement with Generation Z travellers.
