Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai bentuk kecemasan, waktu munculnya kecemasan, dan teknik pencak silat yang menjadi pemicu kecemasan, baik pada atlet pencak silat perempuan maupun laki-laki. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat yang minimal pernah mengikuti kejuaraan daerah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan studi lapangan. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskripsi melalui persentase. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah data bentuk pemicu atau penyebab, masa dan waktu permulaan, serta teknik yang memicu kecemasan pada atlet pencak silat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini: (1) Ada perbedaan jumlah pemicu kecemasan antara atlet perempuan dan laki-laki, 6 pada atlet perempuan dan 4 pada atlet laki-laki. (2) Terdapat selisih persentase kecemasan antara atlet laki-laki dan perempuan. Saat masa latihan dan menjelang pertandingan, atlet perempuan lebih merasakan cemas daripada atlet laki-laki. Sementara itu, pada masa pertandingan, atlet laki-laki lebih merasakan cemas dibandingkan atlet perempuan. (3) Terdapat 7 teknik yang dapat memicu kecemasan pada atlet pencak silat, dan guntingan adalah yang paling mendominasi munculnya kecemasan.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan kemajuan jaman menuntut setiap manusia untuk dapat bertahan dengan segenap kemampuan dalam hal ekonomi, ilmu dan pengetahuan, self improvement, kesehatan dan kebugaran jasmani. Perkembangan dan kemajuan jaman yang tak mengenal waktu berdampak pada kemampuan seseorang untuk dapat menjaga eksistensinya dimasyarakat agar hubungan individu satu dengan yang lain terjalin baik, dengan tujuan menjaga stabilitas emosi sosial. Hal ini kita dapat jumpai di desa-desa yang sangat kental dan terjaga keguyubannya. Pamijen adalah salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas yang memiliki potensi lingkungan yang baik seperti keguyuban pada masyarakatnya, lingkungan yang sejuk, dan prasarana/tanah lapang. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini akan mengupayakan Desa Pamijen menjadi desa yang masyarakatnya aktif berolahraga. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan physical Fitness masyarakat desa agar mereka lebih produktif dalam hal kebugaran jasmani. Peningkatan physical fitness akan diukur dengan fitness test dengan pengambilan data sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan berolahraga dan pengambilan data setelah pelaksanaan olahraga dengan mengunakan instrumen Heart Rate.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran dari mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan SMA di masa pandemi Covid-19 di Kabupaten Brebes. Data dari penelitian ini adalah data pokok yang diperoleh dari hasil kuisioner oleh guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dan 32 SMA di kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini memiliki 2 kriteria tujuan yaitu secara umum dan khusus, yang mana untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran PJOK di tinjau dari beberapa aspek, yaitu kontek, input, proses, dan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori yang dicetuskan oleh Sugiyono (2012). Metode penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah evaluasi rekapitulasi dari 4 aspek dari guru yaitu 78.99% (baik) dan siswa 68% (cukup). Serta hasil evaluasi dari keseluruhan yaitu 73.5% (baik). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran PJOK secara daring ternyata dapat dikategorikan dengan kesimpulan baik dengan prosentase 73.5%, namun aspek produk menjadi terendah. Sehingga aspek produk membutuhkan perbaikan dan pengingkatan serius dalam program pembelajaran PJOK secara daring.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between leg length, waist flexibility, and arm muscle strength and Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed in karate martial arts. A total of 30 karateka (age = 16.4 ± SD = 0.626) participated in the study. Leg length was measured using anthropometric methods, waist flexibility was measured by sit and reach tests, arm muscle strength was measured by push-up tests, and Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed was measured using Kinovea software. The results showed that leg length, waist flexibility, and arm muscle strength had a significant positive relationship with Gyaku Tsuki's punch speed (p = 0.000 0.005). This research can be the basis for further research in the field of kinematics and movement kinetics in the context of martial arts.

Abstract

Meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing merupakan program prioritas nasional tahun 2020-2024. Tujuan kegiatan meningkatkan kualitas guru pendidikan jasmani dalam menyusun program latihan dan sport massage. Metode yang digunakan melalui offline workshop, pemberian modul program latihan dan video sport massage. Peserta pelatihan merupakan guru pendidikan jasmani yang tergabung pada Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Pendidikan jasmani berjumlah 15 orang. Instrument tes menggunakan uji kompetensi bentuk soal pilihan ganda 20 butir dan 5 butir soal essay. Data pretest diketahui tingkat pemahaman guru sebesar 20 %, data posttest diperoleh hasil peningkatan kualitas pemahaman sebesar 93,34%. Kegiatan pelatihan menunjukan peningkatan sebesar 73,34%, sehingga kegiatan berdampak positif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman penyusunan program latihan dan sport massage.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between physical fitness, learning motivation, and academic achievement in students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Tamanwinangun. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, 21 students were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis involved Pearson and multiple correlation tests. Results revealed a significant correlation between physical fitness and academic achievement (p = 0.008, r = 0.560), as well as between learning motivation and academic achievement (p = 0.000, r = 0.741). Additionally, a combined influence of both physical fitness and learning motivation on academic performance was found to be significant (p = 0.000). In conclusion, both physical fitness and learning motivation play a crucial role in supporting academic success among students with intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

Cardiovascular endurance is a crucial component for karate athletes, especially in kumite, where matches require high aerobic and anaerobic capacity. However, the lack of consistent physical training programs often leads to suboptimal performance in student athletes. This study aimed to determine the effect of Fartlek training on improving cardiorespiratory endurance in karate athletes of the Gokasi Student Activity Unit, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The population consisted of 32 athletes, from which 20 samples (12 males and 8 females) were selected using purposive sampling. The treatment group underwent Fartlek training for 16 sessions over 4–5 weeks, while the control group continued routine practice without intervention. Cardiorespiratory endurance was measured using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) to obtain VO₂max values. Data analysis used paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. Result: The paired sample t-test showed a significant increase in VO₂max in the treatment group (p = 0.000), while no significant change was observed in the control group (p = 0.651). The independent t-test revealed a significant difference between the treatment and control groups in post-test results (p = 0.047). Conclusion: Fartlek training has a significant effect on improving cardiorespiratory endurance (VO₂max) in karate athletes. Therefore, it can be considered an effective training method to enhance performance in kumite athletes.

Abstract

The problems that occur at the Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School in Purwokerto are low physical literacy and the tendency of students to ignore physical activity. The solution offered in community service activities is to provide physical literacy assistance based on traditional sports activities. The methods used in this PKM activity consist of Community Education and Mentoring. In the community education method, it is carried out by providing education, lectures, interactive discussions, and questions and answers. The mentoring method is carried out by preparing a physical literacy program while implementing it in the form of a traditional sports activities festival. PKM activities were carried out in 8 (eight) meeting sessions starting from the preliminary, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages. The results of Community Service activities based on the physical activity questionnaire show that the majority of students at the Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School rarely do sports activities. There are 2% of students who do sports activities 3-4 times a week, while the other 10% of students do light sports activities 1-2 times a week. The remaining 88% have never done any sports activities at all. Traditional sports practices are carried out by students by carrying out traditional sports competitions consisting of sack races and beam relay races. Santri participate in traditional sports activities with enthusiasm. It is hoped that with this activity, students can develop healthy living habits and be active in sports.

Abstract

Sports-related minor injuries are common occurrences in school-based physical education activities, yet literacy regarding appropriate first aid management remains limited among teachers and students. This community service program aimed to improve knowledge, skills, and preparedness in managing minor sports injuries through a digital-based educational intervention entitled Smart Recovery. The program was implemented among junior high school (SMP) teachers and students in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia, using a participatory and technology-integrated approach. Activities consisted of program socialization, theoretical and practical training on minor injury management based on the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), and the pilot implementation of the Smart Recovery digital application. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments, practical skill observations, and user feedback questionnaires. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in participants’ knowledge, with average scores increasing from 62.4 to 88.6, and 95% of participants successfully performing the RICE procedures correctly after training. Furthermore, 92% of users reported that the digital application facilitated their understanding of injury management, while 87% perceived the platform as user-friendly and applicable for physical education learning. The integration of hands-on training and digital learning media proved effective in enhancing sports injury literacy, digital competence, and safety awareness in school settings. These findings indicate that the Smart Recovery program has strong potential as a sustainable and scalable model for promoting sports safety education within junior high schools. Abstract

Assessment in field practice learning within higher education Physical Education programs continues to face challenges in measuring learning outcomes comprehensively and objectively, particularly across psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains. This study aimed to develop a Field Practice Learning Assessment Instrument (ASPRAK) that is valid, feasible, and effective for use in outcome-based practical learning. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects included course instructors and undergraduate students enrolled in field practice courses in the Physical Education program. Data were collected through expert validation and small-scale and large-scale trials using Likert-scale questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative techniques by converting scores into feasibility percentages. The results indicated that the ASPRAK instrument achieved an average feasibility score of 82%, categorized as feasible, and demonstrated high alignment with Course Learning Outcomes and sub-learning outcomes, ease of independent use, and strong support for student self-reflection. Therefore, ASPRAK has the potential to serve as an objective, transparent, and applicable assessment instrument to support the implementation of Outcome-Based Education in field practice learning in higher education.
