Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik bahasa jurnalistik dalam berita utama surat kabar Suara Merdeka tahun 2021. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dengan teknik simak catat. Metode dan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode pada dengan teknik dasar berupa teknik pilah unsur penentu. Penyajian hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode informal. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat 149 data karakteristik bahasa jurnalistik. Karakteristik bahasa jurnalistik dalam berita utama surat kabar Suara Merdeka tahun 2021, meliputi: (1) bahasa komunikatif terdapat 45 data temuan, (2) spesifikasi kalimat terdapat 29 data temuan, (3) kejelasan makna terdapat 39 data temuan, (4) penghematan kata terdapat 18 data temuan, dan (5) ketidakmubaziran atau ketidakklisean terdapat 18 data temuan. Dari hasil tersebut, karakteristik bahasa komunikatif merupakan karakteristik yang paling banyak data temuan, sedangkan karakteristik penghematan kata dan ketidakmubaziran atau keklisean merupakan karakteristik yang paling sedikit ditemukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh data dan mengetahui apakah media audiovisual Youtube berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan peserta didik menulis khususnya teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan model Pra-Experimental Design dengan One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasinya yaitu 32 peserta didik kelas VIII F dengan pengumpulan data berupa tes. SPSS 16 digunakan untuk menganalisis data untuk mencari mean, uji normalitas variabel, serta menguji paired sample t-test. Nilai mean pretest yaitu 63,12, serta mean posttest 86,25. Hasil normalitas uji Saphiro-Wilk, menunjukkan nilai pretest bersignifikansi 0,047 > 0,05, sedangkan nilai posttest bersignifikansi 0,003 > 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa distribusi penelitian adalah normal. Berdasarkan hasil paired sample test, signifikansi ₂tailed < 0,05 dengan perolehan 0,000 < 0,05, dengan thitung > ttabel (13,108 > 2,039), maka menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesis awal di tolak dan Hipotesis akhir diterima. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media audiovisual Youtube berpengaruh pada keterampilan menulis eksplanasi peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 37 Semarang.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to describe form morphological error in the text a lecture written by students in grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Losari Brebes for the 2020/2021 school year. The approach in this study uses descriptive qualitative data and data in word form. The data source for this study was  lecture texts from XI SMA Negeri 1 Losari Brebes students for the 2020/2021 school year. The memo method was used to collect data in this study. The obtained data was analyzed using an error analysis technique, and the data analysis results were presented in an informal format. After classification, we obtained data on 61 linguistic errors at  morphological levels consisting of misuses (di prefix, man prefix, ber prefix, ke prefix, kan suffix, suffix and error).ABSTRAKTujuannya penemitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan morfologis pada teks ceramah yang ditulis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Losari Brebes tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.  Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan data berupa kata-kata. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks ceramah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Losari Brebes Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik mencatat digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kesalahan, kemudian hasil analisis data disajikan dengan menggunakan metode informal. Abstract

Journalistic knowledge serves as a robust underpinning upon which learners can refine and enhance their writing abilities, specifically in the domain of news composition. The multifaceted landscape of journalism incorporates a medley of elements that collectively contribute to the cultivation of effective writing skills. The mastery of these facets plays a pivotal role in augmenting students' proficiency in articulating their ideas cogently, engaging their audience adeptly, and ensuring the meticulous conveyance of information. Against this backdrop, the present study endeavors to explore the substantive role played by journalistic knowledge in improving students' skills in writing news. To attain the research aim, the researchers applied a correlational study to find out the correlation between journalistic knowledge and students’ skills in writing news. The participants of the study consisted of 51 students of Indonesian language and literary education at the University of PGRI Semarang. The sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data were collected using tests. Based on the data analysis, there is a correlation between journalistic knowledge and students’ skills in writing news. It means that the components of journalistic knowledge such as understanding the fundamental news values such as timeliness, prominence, proximity, conflict, and human interest, have contributed to helping students in writing news.

Abstract

Menulis berita sebagai pengetahuan dasar jurnalistik merupakan kebutuhan bagi mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Kemampuan menulis berita yang dimaksud di sini adalah mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan tulisan yang berisikan berita atau peristiwa yang diamati dan dialami secara langsung dalam realitas sosial. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Moodle pada pembelajaran menulis berita dengan bantuan software power point, google slides, dan moodle. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian research and development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development dan Dissemination). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data instrumen nontes yaitu angket yang diberikan kepada dua orang ahli materi dan dua orang ahli media. Hasil kelayakan produk media pembelajaran yang berjumlah tiga materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan skala likert berupa skor 1-5 adalah sebagai berikut: a) hasil validasi oleh ahli materi diperoleh skor sebesar 81,54% yaitu termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak; b) hasil validasi oleh ahli media diperoleh skor sebesar 78,4% yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran E-Learning berbasis Moodle layak digunakan. Kata kunci: media, pembelajaran, e-learning, moodle, menulis berita Abstract News writing as basic knowledge of journalism is a necessity for students, especially for students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The ability to write news referred to here is that students are able to produce writings containing news or events that are observed and experienced directly in social reality. The aim of this research is to produce an E-Learning media based on moodle for news writing learning with the help of Power Point Software, Google Slides and Moodle. This research is a type of Research and Development research using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). This study uses a non-test instrument data collection technique that is a questionnaire given to 2 material experts and 2 media experts. The results of the feasibility of learning media products, amounting to three learning materials using a Likert scale in the form of a score of 1-5 are as follows: a) The validation results by the material experts obtained a score of 81.54% which is included in the very feasible category; b) Results validation by media experts obtained a score of 78.4% which is included in the feasible category. Based on the results of the feasibility, it can be concluded that the learning media of E-Learning Moodle is appropriate to be used. Keywords: media, learning, e-learning, moodle, news writing

Abstract

This research aims to describe the slang on the @xxvnyyxx Twitter social media account among teenagers for the period June to July 2023, as well as to determine the influence of slang on the @xxvnyyxx Twitter social media account among teenagers for the period June to July 2023. This type of research is qualitative. . Data collection was carried out using documentation methods, listening techniques and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the look and note technique. Presentation of the results of data analysis is carried out informally. The results of the research show that the use and influence of slang among teenagers is very large on the @xxvnyyx Twitter social media account among teenagers for the period June to July 2023 and there are influences resulting from the use of slang, namely positive influences and negative influences. Based on the results of the observation carried out on account@xxvnyyxx, a lot of slang is used.

Abstract

This study explains the use of Canva media in Indonesian language lessons on biographical texts. The aim of this study is to describe the use of Canva learning media and the response of students to Canva media. The data collection technique used by the researcher is observation with questionnaire collection. This is a qualitative study. Canva is an interactive media that can be utilized by educators in presenting materials. Not only educators, but students can also use this interactive media.

Abstract

Pause is one of the speech impediments that anyone can experience. This study aims to determine the forms of pause and the reasons that cause pause in Nessie Judge's speech. The data used is in the form of Nessie Judge's utterances which contain pauses. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The methods used to collect data are documentation techniques, observation methods, and note-taking techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using the matching and distribution method. Based on the data analysis carried out, the results are in the form of two forms of pause, namely silent pause and filled pause. The reasons that caused Nessie Judge to experience pause, namely forgetting, attracting attention, looking for the right words, giving time to understand the utterances, taking a breath, already starting the utterances, and being careful when speaking.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the needs of textbooks in learning to news writing which are used as development teaching materials and design learning, (2) design textbooks and design learning that are in accordance with the analysis of student needs, (3) develop text books and design learning for news writing based on a genre process approach for students, and (4) to find out the potential influence of developing news writing text books and design learning based on the genre process approach to learning outcomes. This research is research and development. The subjects in this study were 26 students. The results of the study indicate that the news writing text book and design learning as a result of this development has a potential influence in improving students' abilities and understanding of news writing materials in university.
