Abstract

Abstract: Tanèyan Lanjháng is a residential pattern whose buildings are lined up; lined up from west to east and facing each other between north and south. The feature in the Tanèyan Lanjháng settlement pattern is the clustered building pattern and consists of the main house, kin house, kitchen, cage, and Langghar (small mosque) building and well. The existence of settlement pattern Tanèyan Lanjháng is a manifestation of the symbols of kinship, rope brotherhood, and a sense of solidarity between families and relatives who are intertwined in a bond of bloodline either from the relationship of blood or through marriage bonds. This research uses qualitative approach method. The results of this study indicate that the Comparison of Kinship Values between Karang Cempaka and Serah Tengah Villages is seen in the pattern of settlements occupied by families and relatives of Tanèyan Lanjháng. In such a settlement pattern (Tanèyan Lanjháng), the researcher found some similarities and differences between these two villages. The similarities are found in the settlement patterns of the Tanèyan Lanjháng family, the kinship, the layout of the kitchen and enclosure, the shape of the house, and their marriage customs. Meanwhile, the difference is seen in the Tanèyan form, the layout of the cage building, the number of house buildings inhabited by families and relatives, problems or conflicts that occur among families, the role of figures Tanèyan Lanjháng, as well as changes in the buildings of  langghár and wellAbstrak: Tanèyan Lanjháng adalah pola pemukiman yang bangunannya berjejer, berderet yang dibangun dari barat ke timur dan saling berhadapan antara utara dan selatan. Ciri dalam pola pemukiman Tanèyan Lanjháng adalah pola bangunan yang berkelompok dan terdiri dari rumah induk, rumah kerabat, dapur, kandang, dan bangunan Langghár serta sumur. Adanya pola pemukiman Tanèyan Lanjháng ini merupakan wujud dari simbol kekerabatan, tali persaudaraan serta rasa solidaritas yang tinggi antar para keluarga dan kerabat yang terjalin dalam suatu ikatan garis keturunan baik itu dari hubungan darah maupun melalui ikatan perkawinan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Komparasi Nilai Kekerabatan Antara Desa Karang Cempaka dan Desa Serah Tengah, terlihat pada pola pemukiman yang dihuni oleh para keluarga dan kerabat Tanèyan Lanjháng. Dengan adanya pola pemukiman Tanèyan Lanjháng ini, peneliti menemukan bentuk persamaan dan perbedaan antara kedua Desa ini. Persamaannya ditemukan pada pola pemukiman keluarga Tanèyan Lanjháng, tali kekerabatan, tata letak bangunan dapur dan kandang, bentuk rumah, dan adat perkawinan mereka. Sementara untuk perbedaannya terlihat pada bentuk Tanèyan, tata letak bangunan kandang, banyaknya bangunan rumah yang dihuni oleh keluarga serta kerabat, masalah atau konflik yang terjadi di antara keluarga, adanya peran tokoh Tanèyan Lanjháng, serta perubahan bangunan langghár serta sumur DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um019v2i22017p146

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS memiliki peranan penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Namun, Pembelajaran IPS dalam pembentukan karakter siswa tentunya bukanlah hal yang mudah, perlu perjuangan yang berkesinambungan agar menghasilkan hasil yang sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pembelajaran IPS memiliki kesamaan dengan pendidikan karakter yang mana keduanya memiliki tujuan untuk menjadikan siswa sebagai warga negara yang baik, perduli terhadap masalah sosial dan lingkungan yang ada, serta juga sama-sama memiliki rasa kebangsaan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui sejauh mana peran sekolah dalam menumbuhkan karakteristik pada peserta didik di SDN Marengan Daya 1. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik dan guru SDN Marengan Daya 1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif, Data primer hasil wawancara, data sekundernya yaitu buku, jurnal, data-data sekolah, sumber datanya yaitu dari kepala sekolah dan satu wali kelas. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan SDN Marengan Daya 1 menerapkan pembiasaan 3S dan membaca doa, pembiasaan hidup sehat, pembiasaan membaca asmaul husnah serta doa harian, penbiaaaan tanggung jawab, disiplin, jujur dan ekstra kurikuler tahfidz Al-Quran sehingga tidak hanya pandai dalam ilmu umum melainkan pandai pula dalam ilmu keagamaan sebagai bekal menuju manusia yang berguna bagi Nusa bangsa dan agama. Dengan pembiasaan tersebut maka sekolah sudah memberikan jembatan untuk menjadikan setiap siswa SDN Marengan Daya 1 menjadi siswa berkarakter dengan jiwa sosial, intelektual dan religius.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan di SDN Palongan, Kecamatan Bluto, Kabupaten Sumenep, Provinsi Jawa Timur pada tanggal 3-4 September 2022 yang diikuti oleh 23 peserta. Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam memahami Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui pendekatan Project Based Learning (PjBL) sehingga guru mampu mendeskripsikan perencanaan kegiatan projek sebagai panduan bagi pendidik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan ini dibagi dalam 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap pasca-pelaksanaan. Kegiatan ini membantu guru di tingkat SD, khususnya guru di SDN Palongan untuk memahami Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan PjBL dalam implementasinya dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diperoperoleh hasil sebesar 83% peserta mengatakan dapat memahami materi dengan baik dan 91% peserta/guru menjawab kegiatan PkM sangat membantu dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran di sekolah. Dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pengabdian ini terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan tim pengabdi dan para peserta, dimana guru sudah memahami tentang bagaimana mengimplimentasikan Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui Pendekatan PjBL di SDN Palongan.This community service activity was held at SDN Palongan, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency, East Java Province, on September 3-4, 2022, and 23 participants attended. This service activity aims to improve the ability to understand the Pancasila Student Profile Project through a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach so that teachers can describe project activity planning as a guide for educators in carrying out learning according to the Elementary School level in the Merdeka Curriculum. The workshop and training activities are divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the post-implementation stage. This activity helps teachers at the elementary school level, especially at SDN Palongan, understand the Pancasila Student Profile and PBL in its implementation properly. Based on the activity results, 83% of participants said they could understand the material well and 91% of participants/teachers answered that PkM activities were very helpful in implementing learning at school. It can be concluded that this service activity was carried out well in accordance with the expectations of the service team and the participants, where the teacher already understood how to implement the Strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile through the PBL Approach at SDN Palongan.

Abstract

The aims of this study were 1) to find out the strengthening of social tolerance formed by schools through video-based Civics learning. 2) To determine the strategy for implementing video-based IPS learning at SMP Negeri 2 Sumenep. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study state that students at SMP Sumenep still need to strengthen their character of social tolerance. Strengthening the nature of social tolerance is carried out by schools by making student reference books and student journals to build tolerance, especially in instilling values such as democracy, patience, and respect for differences. In this case, The teacher's role is to strengthen the character of tolerance through social studies learning. IPS learning can be done through guided habituation activities using video-based media.

Abstract

Non-permanent teachers, in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as educators and instructors, have the right to earn income above the minimum living standards and social welfare guarantees. Teachers highly anticipate the issuance of regional regulations in the field of education in an effort to improve the welfare of teachers in Sumenep. This research aims to determine the urgency of regional regulations for improving the welfare of non-permanent teachers in the Sumenep Islands. This research uses a qualitative approach, which is a descriptive analysis with a case study type. Informants were determined using the purposive sampling method, and the informants in this study were 7 school principals, 25 honorary teachers, and seven salary treasurers. Data collection used three methods, namely, interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model. According to the study's findings, the pay for non-permanent teachers as a whole is still below the minimum living standards set in the Sumenep region. Teachers do not always hope to be able to take part in the civil service selection so that teachers' minimum living needs can be met and social welfare can be guaranteed.
