Abstract

In the graduation criteria, the final scores of a student who determines whether or not to pass is obtained from the national exam scores and school scores in both practical and written examinations. On the other student scores can also be used as a reference in determining high achieving students and students who deserve help. Therefore, a school needs an application processing system for students can calculate and assess automatically Web based. This system uses Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method to determine high-achieving students and eligible students to get help from the school. This system uses four user logins that is Admin, Homeroom, Teacher, and Student. Each user login has a different system. Admin users can process student and teacher data. User Homeroom can control a students of class according to their homeroom and homeroom can print student score in the form of report. User Teachers can provide student scores according to subjects and can print reports in the form of Legers (list of student scores). User Students can see the scores obtained. Abstract

Writing errors in typing documents very often occur in writing articles, scientific journals, lectures or final assignments. Typing errors cannot be avoided. There are several factors, including the location of the letters close to each other on the keyboard, errors in the corrections made by the word processor, accidental errors such as slip of a finger. For this reason, an application for error categorization in Indonesian was made to make it easier to check documents. The purpose of this study is to design a correction system using the Jaro Winkler Distance and Levenshtein Distance methods. The Jaro winkler distance algorithm is basically a method that compares the similarity of the constituent characters of two strings and the Levenshtein Distance algorithm is a string metric to measure the difference between two sequences. The results of this research are in the form of typing error correction web where the user can correct .doc / .docx formatted documents. Key words : jaro winkler distance, levenshtein distance.

Abstract

Examination are one of the evaluation processes in learning. The implementation of the examination is abenchmark to measure one's achievement and ability in the learning process. The evaluation stage can be donethrough a computerized system. The Computer Based Test (CBT) system is becoming increasingly popular as anevaluation method to test students' digital abilities and is more efficient, requiring less time and cost.One important aspect of Computer Based Test (CBT) is the use of question shuffling to prevent cheating bystudents. The Fisher-Yates Shuffle method has been proven to be an effective and efficient shuffling method, inwhich the question sequence presented to students varies. This method is implemented to ensure that everystudent receives a different question sequence.In this research, a Computer Based Test (CBT) system will be developed using the Fisher-Yates Shuffle methodas the question shuffling method. This system will be implemented using PHP programming language andMySQL database. A trial will be conducted with a group of students to evaluate the performance andeffectiveness of the system simultaneously.Keywords: Implementation, Computer Based Test, Fisher-Yates Shuffle.

Abstract

Melon (Cucumis melo L.) is the name of a fruit plant as well as a fruit producer that belongs to theCucurbitaceae family. Many farmers try to grow melon plants but are unsuccessful due to diseases orignorance of the environment in which the melon lives. Farmers can better control melon plant infections byhaving knowledge of the different types of diseases that attack it. The success rate of disease control in melonplants can be determined by the accuracy of the method and target of the disease being controlled. NaiveBayes algorithm is a technique that will be applied in the system to identify various diseases and livingconditions of melon plants. A probability classification called Naive Bayes creates a set of possibilities bysumming the combination values and frequencies of a particular data set. In this research, a system fordiagnosing diseases and living conditions of melon plants by implementing Naive Bayes was developed.This system is built using html, php, and mysql programming languages and the use of bootstrap framework.Tests were conducted on several users to evaluate the performance, functionality, and effectiveness of thesystem. Abstract

Data mining is a phase in the knowledge discovery in databases (KDD) process that seeks to identifyimportant, useful, and simply understandable new patterns or models. The recitation class at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UNHASY Tebuireng Jombang was established using the classification method in data mining forthis study. Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UNHASY is an educational institution associated with Hasyim Asy'ariUniversity. Its primary focus is on fostering entrepreneurship and pesantren. Currently, the selectionprocess for recitation classes, specifically tahfidz and tahsin classes, is still carried out manually, leading toa time-consuming and ineffective procedure. The aim of this project is to develop a classification systemthat utilizes the Naïve Bayes method to accurately identify recitation classes. The Naïve Bayes approachwas chosen for its simplicity and ease of implementation. The dataset attributes used in this inquiry are thetest results of the mahasantri in writing, memory, and reading the Quran. This research is expected to helpthe administration of Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UNHASY in improving the process of selecting recitation classesto make it more efficient and effective. Furthermore, it will provide a system with the ability to categorizethe classes of Ma'had Al-Jami'ah mahasantri into two distinct groups: "Tahfidz" and "Tahsin”.Keywords: Data mining ,classification, Naïve Bayes Algorithm

Abstract

Health care is an essential part of life. Because, a lot of societies need it every day, of course there are differentkinds of health care to adapt to the needs of the community. One of them is health care at the clinic. In itsservice, of course, Jombang’s clinic requires speed and accuracy so that the results of the service can satisfy thepatient. In practice, however, there are often long waiting times, due to a lack of waiting time management anduncertainty as to when the patient will be served. In order to help solve the problem, a solution was developed tocreate a website-based query system by applying the First Come First Served algorithm, which ensures that thepatient who first takes the query number will get the service before it is completed. Then, in this study, itinvolves collecting patient query data by observing the arrival time, the start time, and the completion time ofeach patient's service and the first come first served algoritm is responsible for setting the time of query. Theresults of the study show that the use of the First Come First Served algorithm in 20 data tracks gains an averageTA (Turnarround Time) of 73.05 minutes.Keywords: Queue, Clinic, First Come First Served, Service

Abstract

The research aims to design and build a system of inventory prediction using the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method at ATK Partner Store. These stores have problems in managing inventory, often in excess or shortage of inventory. To address the problem, the study used the WMA method, which gives greater weight to the latest data, to improve the accuracy of predictions. The data used in this study is sales data from January to May 2024. Using this data, predictions are made for June 2024 and beyond. The research process involves several stages, including data collection, system needs analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The system is designed using PHP as a server-side programming language to ensure optimal performance. Research results showed that the WMA method can produce inventory predictions with a high degree of accuracy, demonstrated by a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) below 10% for each type of goods. For example, inventory forecasts for June 2024 showed highly accurate results with a MAPE value of 0.031679478%. The system developed enabled Partner Stores to plan inventory better, reducing the risk of surpluses or stock shortages. The benefits of this research are not only perceived by the Partner Shop, but also provide new insights to students and contribute to the university in the development of science in the field of information systems and forecasting of supply. Abstract

Education is an important element in nation building, with the Smart Indonesia Programme (PIP) as one of the government initiatives to improve access and quality of education for students from economically weak families. However, the implementation of PIP often faces obstacles in the selection of beneficiaries, especially in manual processes that are prone to subjectivity and human error. This research aims to develop a web-based decision support system with the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to improve the objectivity, efficiency, and accuracy of PIP beneficiary selection at MI Al-Adnani, Jombang.The research was conducted through the stages of analysis, data collection, and method implementation. The TOPSIS method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty in decision-making by considering various criteria such as parents‘ income, number of family dependents, parents’ occupation, orphan status, and ownership of KIP and PKH cards.The results showed that the application of the TOPSIS method was successfully integrated into a web application, resulting in a ranking of students who are eligible to receive assistance objectively and transparently. In a comparison test of calculations using the TOPSIS method between the system and Excel, the same recommendation of students receiving aid was obtained, with the highest scores for Amrullah Rafie Purnawan (0.7), Muhammad Afnan Atma Purnama (0.7), and Hayqo Mazaya (0.6). This application is proven to be effective in reducing subjectivity, increasing selection accuracy, and providing transparency to the school so that it can be a quick and efficient solution in the distribution of educational assistance at MI Al-Adnani. Abstract

Abstract: Pengolahan kedelai menjadi kerupuk merupakan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil pertanian di Desa Sumber Teguh, Kecamatan Kudu, Kabupaten Jombang, yang dikenal dengan surplus kedelai. Meskipun kedelai merupakan komoditas yang melimpah, petani sering kali menjualnya dengan harga rendah karena kurangnya pengolahan yang meningkatkan nilai ekonomisnya. Melalui pelatihan pengolahan kedelai menjadi kerupuk, masyarakat diberikan keterampilan untuk mengolah kedelai menjadi produk yang lebih bernilai dan siap dipasarkan. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan mengenai proses produksi, tetapi juga mencakup strategi pemasaran berbasis digital yang dapat membantu memperluas pasar produk lokal. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta dalam mengolah kedelai menjadi kerupuk yang dapat dipasarkan secara efektif. Selain itu, program ini juga menciptakan peluang usaha baru yang berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Dengan demikian, pengolahan kedelai menjadi kerupuk menjadi langkah nyata dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskrisikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis calon guru matematika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 subjek untuk masing-masing kategori Field Dependent Lemah (FDL), Field Dependent Kuat (FDK), Field Independent Lemah (FIL) dan Field Independent Kuat (FIK). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), tes kemampuan generalisasi matematis dan wawancara. Analisis tes kemampuan berpikir kritis mengacu pada indikator Facione yaitu Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation, Self-Regulation. Hasil Penelitian menyatakan (1) subjek FDL belum memiliki semua kecakapan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu Interpretation sudah mampu akan tetapi untuk Analysis, Evaluation Inference, Explanation, Self-Regulation belum mampu; (2) subjek FDK belum memiliki semua kecakapan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation sudah mampu akan tetapi untuk Inference, Explanation, Self-Regulation belum mampu; (3) subjek FIL sudah memiliki semua kecakapan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation, Self-Regulation akan tetapi belum begitu sempurna; (4) subjek FIK sudah memiliki semua kecakapan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation, Self-Regulation begitu sempurna. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa FD dapat diperbaiki dengan pelatihan yang melibatkan diskusi reflektif dan pemecahan masalah dapat mengurangi dampak field dependence, penggunaan alat teknologi, seperti platform pembelajaran online yang mendukung interaksi aktif, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta field dependent dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis.
