Abstract

PT. Bosowa Isuma which has problems with suboptimal shrimp pond productivity (traditional aquaculture system), water quality monitoring is still manual, manual feeding, and does not understand the standards of Good Fish Farming Methods (CBIB). The goal of kedaireka 2022 is to improve pond governance that is more systematic, productive, environmentally friendly and sustainable and implement the Good Fish Farming Method (CBIB) standard. The implementation method with the application of intensive cultivation system technology and CBIB standards is planted with shrimp covering an area of 5,000 m2 owned by PT. Bosowa Isuma. Vanname shrimp farming in a controlled environment so as to provide food guarantees from cultivation by paying attention to sanitation, shrimp and fish feed and chemicals and biological materials. The executors of the activities are lecturers, technicians of PT. Bosowa Isuma and 7 students of the MBKM. The result of the activity is the application of Vanname shrimp farming technology Intensive System using mill technology, automatic feeder feed and IoT-based monitoring applications is an engineering of sustainable appropriate technology capable of solving the problems of farmers in Majannang Village, especially PT. Bosowa Isuma. Supporting factors in carrying out activities are the availability of land for Vanname Shrimp cultivation and the high work ethic of the cultivator community in carrying out cultivation as well as economic encouragement in running a shrimp farming business to meet family needs, while the inhibiting factor of activities is still the lack of assistance and training in shrimp farming in improving human resources in Majjanang Village

The purpose of this training is to equip students with enough knowledge to run a business. The results of the starup training are 15 student business plans, namely 9 business plans in the field of fisheries by MBKM students of the Aquaculture study program, 5 business plans in the field of financial services by MBKM students of the Management study program and 1 business plan for marketing services by Agribusiness study program students. From the training activities, it can be concluded that through starup training, students get enough knowledge to run a business. Starup's knowledge must be immediately implemented and accompanied periodically to the business plan that has been made.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur fasilitas umum dan sosial seperti infrastruktur jalan berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, sehingga ketimpangan pembangunan antar daerah menjadi perhatian penting dan prioritas pembangunan infrastruktur di Papua. Persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam perwujudan fisik pembangunan infrastruktur perlu menjadi masukan dan pertimbangan proses perencanaan, implementasi dan pengawasan pembangunan jalan Trans Papua. Keberadaan pembangunan jalan Trans Papua belum sepenuhnya disambut dengan dukungan, menuai banyak kritik dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Kurangnya pelibatan warga dan tidak diketahuinya persepsi masyarakat dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembangunan jalan Trans Papua diduga menimbulkan resistensi dan konflik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan suatu kejelasan kearifan lokal masyarakat yang dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan pengembangan pendekatan pembangunan yang partisipatif. Pertanyaan penelitian adalah bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap pembangunan jalan Trans Papua ditinjau dari aspek sosial budaya, ekonomi dan linkungan. Ditemukan perbedaan persepsi, pemahaman antara masyarakat lokal dan stakeholders dalam pembangunan jalan Trans Papua, diperlukan suatu pelibatan masyarakat dalam aktivitas perencanaan dan implementsi pembangunan. Hal ini, merupakan salah satu upaya meminimalisasi konflikt antara masyarakat dan pemerintah khususnya yang terkait dengan konservasi hutan lindung, isu-isu pemberdayaan masyarakat, maupun persoalan teknis pembangunan jalan.

Abstract

South Galesong District, South Sulawesi, is a coastal area facing a serious threat due to beach erosion, exacerbated by the improper use of coastal setback areas that do not align with their ecological functions. The South Galesong District Government and the community of Mangindara Village, as partners in this program, face challenges in sustainably managing coastal setback areas. This community service program aims to raise public awareness and understanding of coastal setback management and erosion mitigation through various educational methods and community-based training. The implemented methods include lectures, distribution of educational leaflets and banners, as well as pre-test and post-test assessments to measure the improvement in public understanding. Additionally, community-based mitigation training was conducted using a hybrid approach that combines nature-based solutions and engineering techniques for erosion control. Baseline evaluation through questionnaires indicated that the initial level of public understanding regarding coastal setbacks and erosion issues ranged between 27% and 37.5%. After the program, post-test results showed a 40% increase in understanding of coastal protection structure planning, with an overall average improvement of 35.66%. Based on the results of this community service program, it can be concluded that the socialization of coastal setback utilization and beach erosion has had a significantly positive impact on public understanding in South Galesong District. The educational materials proved effective in increasing awareness of the importance of coastal setbacks, the risks of erosion, and the planning of protective coastal structures. Moving forward, it is expected that fishermen and communities residing in coastal setback areas will have an even greater awareness of the importance of sustainable coastal setback utilization in accordance with ecological functions, as well as a better understanding of coastal erosion.

Abstract

Pengelolaan limbah rumah sakit merupakan tantangan penting dalam menjaga kualitas lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat, terutama karena limbah medis dan nonmedis mengandung zat berbahaya dan infeksius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengelolaan limbah rumah sakit yang efektif dan berkelanjutan, dengan fokus pada rumah sakit umum daerah di wilayah perkotaan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui kajian literatur terhadap sumber-sumber ilmiah, regulasi, dan dokumen teknis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama dalam pengelolaan limbah mencakup ketidakefisienan sistem pengolahan air limbah, kurangnya pemilahan limbah sejak di sumber, keterbatasan sarana pengangkutan dan penyimpanan, lemahnya sistem kelembagaan dan prosedur operasional, serta rendahnya kapasitas sumber daya manusia. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa rumah sakit menghadapi kendala teknis dan administratif dalam menjamin pengolahan limbah yang sesuai standar lingkungan. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi penguatan sistem pengolahan limbah, pemilahan limbah sejak awal, penyediaan sarana yang memadai, pelatihan rutin bagi petugas, serta kerja sama dengan pihak ketiga dalam pengelolaan limbah berbahaya. Penelitian menekankan pentingnya pendekatan terpadu, komitmen kelembagaan, dan dukungan kebijakan untuk mewujudkan pengelolaan limbah rumah sakit yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The coastal hydrodynamic pattern around the estuary is determined by the wave, river discharge, and the tidal condition which work simultaneously. The wave factor contributes to more dominant influence on estuaries located in the open sea. Wave coming towards the coast can generate current on the coast. The current pattern around the estuary is determined mainly by the magnitude of the angle formed between the incoming wave and the coastline. The objective of this research is to analyze the wave diffraction patterns and the length of tidal propagation towards the direction of the coast in the estuary. Investigated area is situated in the estuary of Jeneberang River. The analysis of tidal propagation and wave diffraction covers a reach of 4270 meters upstream. Data collected include bathymetric, wind, and tidal data. Furthermore, the result of this analysis can be used as an input in efforts to manage and develop the coastal area in the estuary of Jeneberang River. The length of the tidal propagation in the estuary of Jeneberang River is approximately 1220 meters upstream. Wave diffraction occurs from the north, northwest, and west direction. The highest wave diffraction came from the west direction with the value of 0.73 m and the lowest wave diffraction came from the north direction with the value of 0.04 m.

Abstract

Pintu sorong (sluice gate) merupakan salah satu konstruksi bangunan air yang dikenal dengan bangunan ukur yang berfungsi untuk membagi air sesuai debit yang direncanakan dengan cara mengatur tinggi muka air. Dalam mengoptimalisasikan peranan bangunan pintu air sebagai pengatur debit dan pengatur tinggi muka air dihulu bangunan pintu air, sering dihadapkan pada masalah gerusan lokal (local scouring) di sebelah hilir bangunan pintu air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tinggi bukaan pintu air terhadap bilangan Froude (Fr) dengan dasar tanah lempung pada saluran terbuka. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimental di laboratorium yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Hidrolika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Hasanuddin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 tinggi bukaan pintu sorong terhadap dasar saluran (Yg) yaitu 0,5 cm, 1,0 cm dan 1,5 cm sedangkan debit pada 1382,837 cm3/detik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Yg = 0,5 cm; Y1 = 0,35 cm; Fr = 6,99; Ds = 4,2 cm, Yg = 1,0; Y1 = 1,5 cm; Fr = 0,79; Ds = 1,95 cm dan Yg = 1,5; Y1 = 1,65 cm; Fr = 0,68; Ds = 1,6 cm. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi bukaan pintu air maka semakin kecil bilangan Froude yang dihasilkan dan semakin kecil bilangan Froude maka semakin kecil kedalaman gerusan yang timbul.

Abstract

Studi ini menjelaskan inovasi dalam mengurangi eksploitasi material Galian C dan memberikan solusi permasalahan pelaksanaan konstruksi seperti sulitnya mendapatkan sumber material galian C, akses yang sulit ke lokasi pekerjaan, kurangnya air tawar untuk campuran material, kendala cuaca, dan sulitnya menjaga mutu konstruksi. Material Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) diajukan sebagai alternatif untuk pengganti pasangan (lining) di saluran irigasi. Pengujian eksperimental dilakukan di laboratorium dengan menganalisis karakteristik kecepatan aliran akibat perubahan lima kemiringan berbeda. Pengambilan data menggunakan point gauge dan currentmeter. Verifikasi dan validasi data dengan membandingkan antara debit takar dan debit teoritis. Kecepatan rata-rata pada kondisi aliran Q1S0 adalah 46,74 cm/s, Q1S1 sebesar 58,93 cm/s, Q1S2 sebesar 69,52 cm/s, Q1S3 sebesar 81,72 cm/s, dan pada kondisi Q1S4 sebesar 92,60 cm/s. Distribusi kecepatan aliran pada setiap kemiringan memiliki hasil yang berbeda. Distribusi kecepatan di bagian tengah lebih cepat dibandingkan pada bagian tepi saluran flum Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP). Bilangan Froude pada setiap jarak horizontal flum berbanding lurus dengan besarnya nilai kecepatan. Kondisi aliran pada Q1S0 menunjukkan aliran subkritis, kondisi aliran pada Q1S1 menunjukkan peralihan aliran dari subkritis menjadi superkritis. Kondisi aliran pada Q1S2, Q1S3, dan Q1S4 menunjukan kondisi aliran superkritis.
